Thoughts:
That’s the thing about people who come from trauma. Trauma suddenly defines you. A statistic. You believe you are the mere product of what you’ve been through and to become something else is a death and rebirth that at times is too painful to endure. You must learn to forgive and align with your soul. Your soul, is always in a constant state of change. One could compare it to the ocean and the rain - an endless cycle of what is let go of, and what returns, in a harmonic balance that cannot be broken. You see, your soul must follow the current. The way a leaf follows the river. At times though we feel lost. Stuck. A rock, per say. Our minds cannot seem to let go. Our minds keep telling us we are only capable of being this version linked to our past. To our greed, to our foul deeds, to the imperfections we will never be able to escape from. Our souls feel trapped. There is a bloody, yet necessary battle between the two. A leaf cannot flow down the river if it’s caught on a large enough rock. Yet, through time, the water will slowly ease the course nature of the rock and the leaf will move. You, will move. When that happens though depends on when you align with yourself. When you forgive yourself. Our brains whisper to us, that we will not amount to another version of ourselves. That we are the by product of what we have endured. A cycle of mental abuse appears and the trauma lingers. Like a shadow that holds on to your shoulder, walking with you, guiding you, never letting your feet follow the direction they want to go. One must make peace with their past. Trauma forces at some point, two realities. The one where you keep looking at the past, where your mind is. And then there is the one that is running towards the future. Your soul. At a single point there is two versions of you. Your current state of hesitation, and your potential. When trauma has been inflicted it lingers like a wound. Festering and demanding attention. When we take the proper steps to begin healing, often one who has endured trauma beings to feel trapped. Like they are sitting on the floor and the door is being knocked on, but they cannot get up to reach it. They are still looking at their wounds, picking at old scabs, ensuring they will leave permanent scars on themselves. Their soul is crying for the door, while the brain insist on staying on the floor. A limbo, that leaves you feeling hopeless and lost. You must find alignment, and forgiveness. Trauma will never cease to exist within you. It is not a part that can be removed, in likeness that one cannot change the past. You can though, choose to accept it. Once you accept it, you can forgive it. Forgive yourself, your former versions, and understand that you are no longer that person. You are undergoing a metaphorphysis. Water rising from the salty ocean into the clouds, to become rain desparately needed in the fields. You must listen to your soul. Feel it’s light, it’s power, it’s honest nature in going forward. Begin to heal your wounds. The water will push against the rock, and the leaf will begin to flow down the river again. You will only then, stand on your feet and answer the door to meet the version of you that is brimming with new potential. For you are stronger, and smarter, and have overcome. As a tiny droplet of rain, becomes a mighty ocean.
Love should be
Gentle
Kind
Understanding
Patient
Calm
Wild
Intense
Crazy
All in one
But moreso
It should feel
Natural
It should be
The root
Of everything
Not a needed reminder
Before I leave
You should know
I miss you
Before I leave
You should know
The version of you
That exists in my mind
I’m finally ready for
Before I leave
You should know
You should know.
There’s a version of us
That made it through tomorrow
Chúng ta đang làm gì với thiên nhiên?????
What are we doing with nature?????

All I want in life is to live out in the country with the love of my life and have a cup of coffee while we watch the sun rise over our piece of land
