simply the fact that different body types for women go in and out of style throughout the decades should be enough to tell you that women’s bodies are considered consumable goods under capitalism

i <3 when women characters feel they aren't able to express sadness in "normal" ways because they don't feel safe enough to cry in their environment so instead they opt for the more acceptable strong emotion of rage and they get recklessly angry at the people around them in fits of misplaced sadness and terror and make irreversible decisions and hurt others. i dont care as much when this happens to a man

I think having the main theme of your movie being that bravery does not nessicarily mean willingness to subject yourself to pain and fear but rather rising to the challenge once you’re already in that situation is such an important message given our circumstances right now
