Watched Occult for the first time today and I love that legendary horror director Kiyoshi Kurosawa just shows up as himself for like 5 min an hour into this found footage movie to talk about some cool rocks. Perfect decision. No notes. Like it would've been so good without that but Shiraishi was just like "Nah, we need our target audience to piss their pants with excitement."
