Elastic that don’t just hold you together,
they shape you.
wrap, twist, reimagine—
costume, ritual, festival skin.
all elastic, all possibility.

💌 Customer Spotlight 💌
I have to share this because it completely melted my heart.
A lovely customer bought my Durag PDF sewing pattern on Etsy — and made the most incredible denim durag for her son… to wear to Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter concert. 🤠✨
I never imagined when I first put this pattern out there that someone would take it on such a cool, meaningful mission. The idea is just brilliant — denim for the cowboy vibe, durag for style and personality. And let me tell you, she nailed it. The fit, the stitching, the way it matched the concert energy… absolute perfection.
It’s moments like this that remind me why I love doing this — seeing creativity come to life in ways I never could have predicted. Every time a customer shares their makes, I feel lucky to be even a small part of their story.
Here’s to making things that are unapologetically you. 🧵❤️

Trying something a little different — made a jockstrap using lace fabric. Just playing around with textures and seeing what works, what doesn’t.
I’ve always been curious how traditionally “delicate” fabrics can be reimagined into something bold and functional.
This one's still an experiment — figuring out the fit, feel, and how it holds up.
Would love to hear what you think — whether it’s about the look, fabric choice, or ideas for improvement.
Appreciate all the love and constructive vibes 🌿

Me everyday 😂
Brain dump:
Dealing with emotional conflict between visibility and vulnerability.
Is it just me?
“I want to be seen, but Iam afraid of being seen.”
It seems paradoxical — especially when turning personal passion (like sewing) into a business.
On one hand: there’s that craving for validation, engagement, support, appreciation — because my work matters and it’s deeply personal.
On the other: there’s fear of judgment, gossip, rejection, indifference — because my work matters, and it’s deeply personal.
Realising in a way I am protecting myself from discomfort, disappointment by withholding my full expression and presence. But that protective shield is also blocking my expansion
Hmm… Maybe this is what growth really is — loosening my grip on the fear just enough to let the light in. Letting my stitches and patterns carry more than fabric and thread; letting them carry a little piece of my heart. Because somewhere out there, someone needs to see it, not flawless but alive, human, and made with love. And if I can meet them there — in that place between vulnerability and creation — maybe that’s where the magic happens.
Bag guts before the glow-up 🧵
added some simple line art to make it a bit more me. Still figuring things out as I go, but it’s coming together 🤩

Does anyone else feel like their feed is overloaded with super basic sewing tutorials?
Like, every time I search for sewing content or scroll through suggestions, it’s all “how to thread a machine” or “how to hem pants” or “intro to tools” — which is great if you’re brand new, but I rarely see content that goes a bit deeper.
Is it just me? Or is there just way more beginner-level stuff out there?
I’d love to see more makers sharing the kind of techniques or insights they’ve picked up after years of sewing — even just small things they’ve learned through experience. Feels like that kind of knowledge doesn’t get shared as much?
Curious what kind of sewing videos or posts show up on your feed — do you get more beginner stuff too? Or have you found creators who dive into the more advanced or hands-on side of things?
Would genuinely love to hear what you’ve come across — always looking to learn and connect more with people who’ve been on this journey a while 🧵💬

✨ Some things are easier to carry when they’re painted in colour.
I made this duffle bag at a time when I felt heavy. Not just tired-heavy, but soul-heavy. You know when life feels like it’s dragging you by the ankle ? lol
So I started painting again — not because I knew what I was doing, but because I needed somewhere to put the feelings. Brush in one hand, silence in the other. This bag became that place. It turned into a canvas for all the things I couldn’t say out loud.
It’s just a bag, I know. But it holds more than bits and bobs. It holds a story. My story — and maybe yours too. The version of us that keeps going, even when things feel messy, uncertain, or strange.
If you’ve ever felt like you were carrying too much — emotionally, mentally, spiritually — I hope you remember that you can transform the weight into something beautiful
Even if it’s just one brushstroke at a time.
🌟 Just Getting Started – Playing with Neon Dreams 🌟
I’ve just started working on a new duffle bag, and it’s still in that messy, magical “what if?” stage. ✂️🧵
Right now, I’m experimenting with neon effects on the fabric There’s something special about this part of creating… when it’s not perfect, not finished, but full of possibility. It reminds me that making isn’t only about the final product – it’s about letting yourself play, explore, and enjoy the process without pressure.
Who knows how this bag will turn out, but right now, I’m loving every bright, glowing stitch. And honestly? That’s the best part. 💛

I just finished this T-shirt using reflective iron-on vinyl… and I can’t stop smiling every time I look at it! 🪡🌈
There’s something so magical about taking a plain tee and turning it into something that feels uniquely yours. That’s the beauty of making – it’s not about perfection, it’s about the joy in the process (and sometimes laughing at the tiny mistakes along the way).
This project reminded me why I love creating:
💡 You don’t need fancy tools – just a bit of curiosity.
💡 Every stitch is a little reminder that you can make things with your own two hands.
💡 And that spark when it all comes together? Pure happiness.
If you’ve been thinking about trying a project like this, here’s your sign: go for it! Start small, have fun, and let yourself be surprised by how capable you really are. ✨
Here’s to T-shirts that shine a little brighter – and to us, the makers who do too. 💛
