Make a change in your environment. Seek out new friends. Reduce time spent with toxic people. Find stimulating ones. Search for an environment that is supportive of your goals.
Plan in advance, in order to avoid getting overly anxious about day-to-day decisions. Establish a great routine with healthy habits.
Eliminate the unimportant. Focus on your priorities. Donât always say yes. Be attentive of how you spend your time. Focus on the essential. Donât watch too much tv. Ask yourself every hour âWhat am I currently doing and is it relevant for my goals?â
Donât hoard. Declutter. Let go of things. Let go of memories. Let go of fears.
Donât be afraid to commit to what is important. Donât shelter yourself by thinking that you donât know what you want. Â Donât daydream. Work on focusing your attention to become an active participant in the world around you.
Express your anger. Donât act passive-aggressive. Exert yourself. Your position is valid. Express your opinion. Â Use your anger to motivate you towards your real desires.
Exercise. Be aware of your body and of your emotions.

Esto es lo que opina Rebecca Sugar al respecto:
(via nanglish)
I feel so bad for Millie Bobby Brown. Sheâs been sexualized since the minute she entered the industry and gained fame through âStranger Thingsâ (notice how her male cast mates are allowed to retain their youthful and goofy personalities, whereas sheâs forced into wearing makeup and clothes that give off a âmature vibeâ) and now sheâs being groomed, in real time, by a 31 year old man (who also has an 18 year old girlfriend), and no one is doing or saying anything about it. This is why feminists always say that the sexualization of female celebrities begins young and why itâs connected to them facing sexual violence from men within the industry, and why those men later get away with it.Â
I am more and more convinced that children and teenagers just shouldnât be in the industry, for their own protection. Especially young girls.Â
By the way, BeyoncĂ© had been groomed by Jay Z since she was 15. So this happened to BeyoncĂ© as well (and no one said anything about it), and itâs happening to Millie now, and probably to countless other teenage girls in the industry.Â
Natalie Portman, following Leon: The Professional
Glad someone brought up Natalie Portman up because after Leon, there was some seriously fucked up shit. People were sending rape fantasy letters, a radio station was counting down to her 18th birthday (aka sheâs legal to bang and ânot be weirdâ), and sexualized her body as she went through puberty. She talks about it here:
Natalie Portman has spoken out about being sexualised early in her career, saying that she experienced "sexual terrorism" from the age of 13
She was 13 years old. 13! We shouldnât even pretend nothing like that is happening to child stars now
Fresh Off the Boat - âHi, My Name IsâŠâ
YES
Why Uzo Aduba wouldnât change her name:
My family is from Nigeria, and my full name is Uzoamaka, which means âThe road is good.â Quick lesson: My tribe is Igbo, and you name your kid something that tells your history and hopefully predicts your future. So anyway, in grade school, because my last name started with an A, I was the first in roll call, and nobody ever knew how to pronounce it. So I went home and asked my mother if I could be called Zoe. I remember she was cooking, and in her Nigerian accent she said, âWhy?â I said, âNobody can pronounce it.â Without missing a beat, she said, âIf they can learn to say Tchaikovsky and Michelangelo and Dostoyevsky, they can learn to say Uzoamaka.â

They can learn
Iâve worked with many exchange programs on campuses, and they still âencourageâ Chinese students to choose English names for their stay in the US. Iâve adopted a rule for myself, I wonât address them with their English name until theyâve told me to stop trying their real name on at least three different occasions. My family is largely immigrant, and while weâve never had this problem, I donât think anyone should have to change who they are when them find a new home, even a temporary one. So far, only two exchange student actually wanted to keep their English name, and one of them, Alice, had had Alice for a nickname since she was little.
Donât know if itâs okay to add this here, but I used to work with a Chinese woman who had changed her name to Angelina for the sake of ease. When she first told me that was what sheâd had to do, I asked her for her real name and if she minded me calling her that. She looked so frikkin happy, and it only took about two minutes for me to say it right. Itâs not that people canât pronounce these names, itâs that they wonât. Itâs lazy and itâs rude.
Itâs also RACIST.
Say âracistâ.
They pronounce Tchaikovsky and Schwarzenegger just fine.
^THANK YOU. Babies of color,
MAKE THEM SAY YOUR FUCKING NAME. ALWAYS.
