A SURGE OF ANNOYANCE and contempt rose within jaewon as the other stated he couldn't be in here, that he needed to LEAVE. why, was he unwanted? tch, he should've never explored a college. he knew he didn't belong here, that he wasn't appreciated here .. he just wanted to explore, ending up in a small piano room. being someone who has no sense of direction, no sense of hope in life. a NEET. he knew what he was. why did this guy have to make it so obvious? 

                                    “mhm.. okay..” a timid and quiet response.                                     despite the thoughts, he agreed to leave, not                                     wanting the other who seemed a bit more superior                                     than he was to hate him or anything. “i was just ..                                     looking around. hm.” with a bit of hesitation in not                                     wanting to leave, he pointed to the piano with one                                     last question. “do you play?”

“Me?" Soojung pointed to herself before looking around, trying to see if there were any other people around her, the male may have called to. "Well if that was intended for me, thank you but not really.” the female chuckled softly.

                                    “are you KIDDING?? you seem like you don't                                     take compliments that easily!! you should                                     enjoy the little things once in a while!!                                     because ya'know, they're true ya’know.                                     adorable is just ONE of your aspects.”

a large grin appeared upon his lips as he flirted his way into this small talk conversation with the big shot idol. they were right about her.. she was utterly FLAWLESS in his eyes. her perfect skin, her beautiful hair, her refreshing face.. boy, was she OUTTA his league!

❝ …The flowers? What flowers? ❞ Her eyes squinted into narrow slits as she stared at him, confused and awaiting an answer. She never received any flowers, but his question seemed sincere – was he mocking her in some sort of way? But judging by the calm expression on his face, he wasn’t pulling some practical joke on her, either. how strange. ❝ I didn’t get any flowers … did you send them to the wrong address? ❞

an ARROW!! A LITERAL ARROW SHOT THROUGH HIS HEART at the FAILED Reaction he had received, not wanting to accept the harsh reality of his failures AGAIN. his eyes froze in embarrassment, unable to show the flustered feelings that had arose to her as it seemed UNCOOL in his book. 

                                    ‘act cool- ACT COOL.’ his mind went INSANE,                                     yet he tried to keep himself calm. ‘just don't do                                     whatever your brothers would do.. and you'll be fine, jaewon.’

in a cool manner, he leaned back a bit to show that he was TOTALLY ‘relaxed’ as a cheeky and incredibly noticeable nervous smile appeared on his lips as if he was going to crack a small joke to cover up the mistake he had made .. and then he began to speak.

                                    DEEP BREATH; “i- i dunno ... did YOU ... send them                                     to the wrong .. a.. address .. ???” CRAP! THAT WAS                                     SUCH A KAEWON THING TO DO! WHY DID YOU                                     EVEN ATTEMPT THAT GODDAMNIT--  KAEWON                                     HYUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNG--!!

          she was sure there was something off about him, from his sleazy stature to the way his eyes twinkled with something akin to mischief and misguided adolescence (not to mention he was giggling to himself), but not so off that she was trying to memorize a fake phone number off the top of her head to give if he asked. though it probably would have come in handy had she did. she reached for the wallet in her purse, trying to ignore the fact that he just actually fucking winked at her– what is this? a fucking drama? and hoping to get the hell out of the door before he could do anything else that he learned from his “how to be a fucking douche for dummies” manual. she slid the card across the counter, reaching for the drink with the other. fucking manchild. 

SUFFOCATION filled the air he breathed as he noticed the girl's small movements signalling something not-so-great about what she was thinking. he had learned a lot in his short life!! living with people that look exactly alike each other had helped him to teach himself how to tell who a person is just by the way they moved. TAEWON .. the girl's cold expression reminded him of his fourth brother. he bit his lip, a small relic habit that he had always made known every time something didn't go his way. the one thing about her was that she WASN'T taewon .. he actually FELT BAD about making her feel anything worse than what she was feeling. huge eyes sided the girl discreetly as she slid her card to him, doing what she was supposed to do, and having no reaction at all. his original childish and cute smile began to fade away as he inched away nervously while a hand began to pat his neck to distract him from the awkwardness of the situation. 

                                    “i .. is that all?” he CHOKED out, managing                                      to live just ONE MORE day.

          her camera swung at her hip as she opened the door to the cafe, a blast of coffee scented air swirling around her at her entrance. the spring air chilled her back as she shrugged out of her coat and folded the material over her forearm, her light t-shirt providing minimal protection from the sudden cold. 

“no, i just came here to take a nap.” she rested her elbow on the counter, chin in her palm as she snickered lazily. her gaze sat on the male momentarily before she switched her sight to the menu above her, eyes squinting both out of habit and necessity. she weighed her options but got lost in thought, coming to when she heard the door open and close, signaling another customer. she didn’t know how long it had been – more than likely an embarrassing amount of time – and settled on the first item she could pick out, standing up straight at the counter. “can i have a uh– vanilla latte?”

its been DAYS since he had been blessed with such a beautiful being. sure, his coworkers surely fill up the void of the lack of cute girls, but her- OHO, HER.. she was a gem that flew through the door like an angel up above.. much like the customer he had a few weeks ago, BUT NO! she was DEFINITELY cuter. EVEN HER VOICE WAS SMOOTH! ‘can i get a vanilla latte, (his mind inserted:oh sweet prince of mine???) “of course!!” a cheeky grin rose upon his face as he daydreamed of the possible scenarios that lead to her becoming his. “ONE! VANILLA LATTE --- COOOOMING UP!!” he exclaimed with such enthusiasm as he practically danced to make one for the newly founded goddess of the counter. “one?? vanilla latte, for m'lady.” A WINK, a smile .. a typical jaewon.

A SMALL SNICKER exhaled out of his mouth, showing off his regular display of unconscious childish behavior at the girl’s cold comment to his, or so he thinks, ‘ innocent ‘ question. “but.. you are, by FAR, the prettiest girl i’ve ever laid my eyes on!! how can i not ask?” he spoke as if he hadn’t used that cliche hundreds and hundreds of times before. a chain of words filled with lies that hide behind a seemingly innocent smile, used again and again by the sixth. to him, the question “do you have a boyfriend” wasn’t anything out of the ordinary,(or so he thought.)
