Have "egalitarians" considered that some people don't identify as "egalitarian" because, I don't know, it's basic human decency for anyone with a mediocre education to believe in equality? (cont.)
Rather than something to use as a trendy label to achieve a false sense of intellectual and moral superiority?
âEgalitariansâ spend more time silencing actual marginalized people, supporting toxic behaviors of privileged groups, and stroking their own egos than they do fighting for actual equality hmmmmm wonder why that is
They only complain about perceived extremism from âSJWsâ. Never neo-nazis, misogynists, anyone like that. âEqualityâ.
But to hear them tell it, theyâre supposedly always going after racists and misogynists.
Iâve had this plan for a while that whenever I get time one day, Iâm going to sit down and pick popular âegalitarianâ and âreal justiceâ blogs and do a spreadsheet that tracks how often they go after actual bigots versus how often they attack and tone police marginalized people. Iâve got an entire methodology down so that itâs as accurate and unbiased as humanly possible.
I really hope I find time to do this one day, itâs just such a big undertaking.
