I do!!! Sorry it took me so long to reply. I wanted to wait till I finished writing the trans Oikawa fic but it seems it’s gonna take longer than I thought so!! I decided to share some!!!
Iwaizumi is the first one to know. He was kinda oblivious even though they had been friends since they were kids but Oikawa had seemed uncomfortable when forced to do anything feminine coded since like, forever, so when Oikawa told him he wasn’t too surprised either
Iwaizumi is pretty accepting from the very begining even though he doesn’t understand it really well and Oikawa is so grateful to have this man as a friend
Oikawa himself doesn’t understand it very well at the begining. Like, he knows he’s not a girl and he feels like there’s something wrong with him but he feels strange because he’s never heard of a case like his. He finds about the word “transgender” in the first year of middle school and suddenly everything clicks into place
He comes out to his mother not much later even though he’s scared af and filled with anxiety but it turns out she had been seeing it coming for ages. They don’t tell his dad, tho. He’s not a bad man, but they’re both sure he won’t understand
It takes a lot of crying, a lot of effort and a lot of meetings of his mother with the headmaster, but eventually Oikawa is allowed to join the masculine volleyball team on his second year of middle school
This of course makes Oikawa really happy but is the begining of a lot of problems. Fights with other kids, both teachers and students constantly misgendering him, people invalidating him… Iwaizumi is always there to fiercely stand up for his best friend tho!!!
