CAN’T FEAR YOUR OWN WORLD Part 7 Full Translation

I’m super late but here it is, it’s going to be another long read (12.5k words) since this part consists of two chapters.

Chapter 5

Soul Society - Kizokugai “…No matter how many times I come here, I’ll never get used to walking around Kizokugai.” In the eastern end of the 6th sector, Kizokugai is lined with mansions belonging to noblemen, high class ryōtei*, and establishments catering exclusively to nobles. (*Fancy, traditional Japanese restaurant.) At the heart of Kizokugai, Hisagi releases a small sigh whilst heading towards the central block where commoners cannot enter unless they obtain formal permission or an invitation from a noble. Responding to Hisagi, Hanatarō posed a question. “You’ve come here a few times then?” “That Ōmaeda guy invited me to dine with him, along with Abarai. After all, it’s impossible for me to come here to a ryōtei street alone on my salary.”

Normally I’m pretty adverse to pushing Christmas onto people before Thanksgiving but ding dang Merry flippin’ Christmas thank you Santa for giving us such wonderful presents of sexy amazing IchiHime and RenRuki couple Halloween costumes.

Obviously I had to make a Halloween piece with such an incredible gift so…here it is. Anyone else find it hilarious that the living people are going as dead people and the dead people are going as living things? Because I just realized this and now I do. XD

Ichigo: ‘’If I don’t remember wrong, this is around the time right after I transferred, and after school hours when we went out to play.’’ *2

Orihime: ‘’Yeah exactly! At that time I still didn’t get along well with Ichigo-kun at all. (It was really awkward —-)’’

Ichigo: ‘’Aah, Tatsuki brought you along against your will right.’’

Orihime’s inner thought: ‘’Still, I came to like you.’’

Ichigo: ‘’Hm?’’

Orihime: ‘’But if you were to tell the me at that time, I would definitely not have believed it…’’

Ichigo: ‘’…What is it?’’

Orihime: ‘’That although there was such distance between us, that ‘Kurosaki-kun’ would be by the current me’s side.’’

*2 He refers to ‘this time’/picture as yatsu, meaning ‘this guy’. It’s kinda weird but I think I got the sentence right.

RENRUKI WEEK 2017 Day 3 - Separation/Flowers

“I see…thank you.”

Red camellias in hanakotoba (Japanses flower language) mean “in love/perishing with grace.” I do not think it is a mere coincidence Kubo choose this flower to represent the 6th Division since the two most prominent characters in it can apply these meanings to how they are connected to Rukia via romance; Renji directly, Byakuya through Hisana. With that it is even more fitting that Renji’s wedding montsuki bore camellias as its crest. And also because Renji’s primary design color is red, it makes sense to use camellias as a visually metaphorical representation of Rukia’s feelings for him.

Chapter 4

Squad 9 Barracks. “……” Hisagi Shūhei was sitting at his vice captain’s desk, gazing at and reflecting on previous issues of Seireitei Communication. At his back, the voice of Muguruma, his captain, called out to him. “Hey, what’s with the long face, Shūhei.” “Uh, captain…” “Is it because of the business from just a short while ago? Well, it’s not surprising that you’re irritated.” “…sorry, it really shows on my face huh?” He intended to bottle up his emotions, but it seems he couldn’t even do a good job of that, no matter how hard he tried. After taking a deep breath, Hisagi posed a question to Muguruma.

Hueco Mundo. 6 months since the Protection of the Soul King Great War. Even in Hueco Mundo, the world of the Hollows headed by the Arrancar, a gradual change is occurring. After the Arrancar hunt by the Quincy of the Wandenreich came to an end, powerful Arrancar such as Harribel and Grimmjow had disappeared, a new period of civil unrest was about to be ushered in. However, as Nelliel, whose whereabouts had been unknown thus far, suddenly returned accompanied by Harribel, the ambitions of the Arrancar and Vasto Lorde class Menos Grande were instantly met with disappointment, and they retreated back to their respective colonies as a result. Several Arrancar launched surprise attacks on Nelliel and Harribel thinking “surely they’re exhausted now”, however most of them were beaten at their own game, and even those who had managed to escape were sent sinking to the ground unlucky enough to bump into Grimmjow who was in a foul mood. In a corner of Hueco Mundo which was in the gradual process of restoring its peace from such a ‘return of the leader’, a man wearing a mask resembling a bull’s skull released a sigh.

CAN’T FEAR YOUR OWN WORLD Part 3 Full Translation.

TN: When this third part was released on the Bleach/Jump+ app, Narita tweeted that “main house” was written in place of “branch house” in one line, I’ve spotted that line and made those amendments in my translation below already. He apologised for any confusion and has stated this will be corrected in the printed book version. Also sorry this is really late but I got super busy again but I thought I should finish this translation up now since the next part comes out at midnight tonight on the app. Very long chapter btw.

Chapter 2

  Several days later - Rukongai.

Hisagi Shūhei is engaged in two different occupations at the same time.

One of those occupations is his professional duties as Squad 9 vice captain, which everyone knows.

The other is being the editor-in-chief of the Seireitei Communication.

Seireitei Communication is a public institution magazine that is occasionally circulated throughout​ Seireitei and as far as some parts of Rukongai, it is basically under the management of the 9th division.

Naturally, it ought to be treated as equal occupations, but because the nature of the work differs too greatly from primary Shinigami duties, it was in effect, perceived by society as something akin to a side job.

Chapter 1

Hundreds of years ago - Seireitei - Governmental District.

“Why, why wasn’t that man sentenced to death?!”

It was an outcry that risked his life.

“I’d like an audience with the Central 46! Please!”

A young man continues to raise his voice whilst being blocked by the steel staff weapons being held up by muscular guards.

Judging by the young man’s eyes that were void of colour, and from his meticulous movements, he was blind.

This blind young man seems able to perceive the state of affairs around him through sound alone, it appears he can feel the presence of the fierce guards standing in front of him.

Whether the door guards were related to nobility or not, in their eyes, they expressed a look of clear disdain at the young man who appeared to have come from Rukongai.

Yes I absolutely understand why some want to drag IR's. Trust me, I've seen how horrible and arrogant they've been for many years towards us, so they absolutely deserve all the dragging in the world but what I don't like is doing it on their turf, on their uploaded and correctly tagged content and thus giving them more undeserved notes. It also lets them stay believing we’re jealous and stalking -you know how smug they are- so I just don't like to give them more reasons that fuel those delusions

Ahhh I get you now.I don’t know about the others, but I saw the reblogs on my dash lol.But in any case, we all know who the real stalkers are. Besides, the ichirukis are delusional no matter what we say or do.

Just wanted to say that the OOC fanart that got re-blogged by some IHs (which is how I saw it too) is also tagged as “Bleach” and “Rukia Kuchiki”. Not just ichiruki. Everyone is free to tag their post however they want but the Bleach tag is a general tag, browsed by shippers and non-shippers alike. So for some people to scream : “stay in your lane !!” is just BS (which I bet is the excuse IRs use to justify their fake outrage.) The Bleach tag is for people that like and enjoy this great manga, and therefore anyone is free to comment on things that they find offensive. Don’t want to put up with certain segments of the fandom ? Probably best to INDEED tag your post in the ship tag only, which will then be found by like-minded people. (I know this is not always true and that the search function is plain dumb, hence why # is your friend.) Blocking is another option (which is the one I only use now. I block every IR content I find in the Bleach tag, no matter how innocuous it is. I just want nothing to do with any of them.)

That “artist” is apparently infamous for their numerous and unsavory adultery doujinshis, depicting Ichigo and Rukia as the IR fandom has always seen them as : selfish assholes. They project/self-insert their own feelings into fictional characters, because it makes it easier for them to cope with the fact that they were (and still are) wrong on all accounts when it comes to these 2 characters. I mean what do you expect from people who can’t read and comprehend a manga geared towards 15 year old boys ? Who cares what a bunch of nobodies on the internet think or do ? Kubo is the only person whose opinion should matter when it comes to Bleach. It’s his characters, his story, his legacy. The rest is fandom wank.

If you wish to protect the things you ought to protect, then you must strike down the enemy by cutting them from their backs.” — Excerpt from the latest edition of the Shino Academy’s textbook, Shinigami regulations encyclopedia.

Prologue

Once, there was a battle. A great war between those who called themselves gods who governed death and those who extinguished evil spirits. The conflict ceased in the form of losing their respective ‘kings’ by the end of the feud which spanned a thousand years. The relationship between the Shinigami and the Quincy hailed a new era as a result of this great loss. It is said that it was the very same person who killed both kings, he was neither Shinigami or  Quincy, but only a small fraction of people are aware of that fact. There was a young substitute Shinigami boy who was a guest of the Gotei 13, who defeated the ringleader of the “Wandenreich” rebel army which invaded Soul Society —- only that part of the information along with the proclamation that “the Gotei 13 successfully defended the Soul King Palace” was propagated throughout the Soul Society. In other words, it was to be permanently concealed by those who were the very foundation of the Soul Society, that the Soul King himself was dead, for the purpose of avoiding confusion and disorder. Even now, many inhabitants of the Soul Society including ordinary soldiers still believe they have their Soul King enshrined at the Soul King Palace. Those who know the facts is limited to only a handful of Shinigami such as captain ranks and superior officers, or people attached to important posts in Seireitei, they also dare not expose the truth and thus the people’s peace of mind was not disturbed. From there, the revival of the Seireitei that was left utterly devastated, began. Whether or not the decision of the higher-ups, who did not deem it acceptable to snatch away the people’s moral support, was right as they had expected​ — well, it seems that is something to be judged by history 10, or 100 years down the line. The series of conflicts that would subsequently be known as the “Protection of the Soul King Great War”, ushered in the conclusion to such a state of affairs.

Going back in time to the point immediately following​ the end of the war.
