Jingjing: Honestly, I feel that when we got to act together, we were friends before, but it was just pure friendship. But now, working together all the time, I feel like the word "more than friends" isn't an exaggeration. It's more than just friendship, but not quite that extreme yet. Jan: We talk more, especially about sensitive issues. Before it would be like, "Okay, I like this, I don't like that", without going into detail. Now, we have to delve deeper. I really want to get to know her true self, the little things, because we have to work together, we have to be together, and I want us to be comfortable with each other.
Jingjing: That's what we weren't like when we were just friends. We used to have so much fun playing together, saying whatever we wanted and doing whatever we did. But when we started working together, I realised we had to be more comfortable of each other's feelings, even in the little things we never noticed before. Once we started working together, I realised I didn't want her to be uncomfortable in certain ways, and I didn't want her to be uncomfortable with me in others' feelings. I always tell Jan, "Jan, if you ever have any issues, please tell me. If you don't like something, if you want us to adjust something, if something makes you uncomfortable, you have to say it. I don't want things to be bottled up and cause problems". So, when Jan and I have a small misunderstanding, we talk it out and find a solution together.
Jan: There was one time when I cared about her and knew she was stressed, so I tried to solve the problem myself because I knew she would be stressed. But when it didn't work out, we talked. I told her, "If there's anything, let's just be direct". It made us understand each other better because she cared about me and didn't want me to be stressed alone.
