MITH APOLO AND DAFNE

Apollo mocked Eros for the way he used his bow and arrows. In fact, he told him that he had poor aim, so Eros decided to show Apollo the power of his arrows.

Therefore, Eros shot a golden arrow into Apollo's heart, causing him to fall in love with the nymph Daphne, who was nearby.

At the same time, Eros shot a lead arrow into Daphne's heart, causing her to reject Apollo.

Daphne ran through the forest trying to escape from Apollo, who was chasing her and about to catch her. She asked Mother Earth to save her from him, which led to a transformation.

Just as Apollo was about to catch Daphne, she froze, and her feet began to be covered with earth, turning into roots. Her body was covered with bark, and branches grew from her arms. Thus, Daphne was transformed into a laurel tree.
