Happy naming day for 4546b! Proteus is such a cute name for a planet :) OR IS IT A MOON??

I am taking notes on Subnautica 2 because I am insane. I love thinking about lore. I love Subnautica's story. I hope this one remains the same through early access.

My biggest theory currently is about the location of this new biome. We know there are little anomalous habitable areas. This one has higher temperatures and more currents/geysers, higher pressure, and a higher concentration of heavy metals poisoning the environment. I believe this one is close to the equator, the tropical zone. Sometimes a planet becomes wider at the equator. Earth has done this over time! Not enough to change the way physics work. Do we think the width of the equator could be causing this effect? I wonder why the animal life is not digestible to the player character, when the other 2 biomes were very hospitable to us. As far as food and drink.

And of course the reprinting concept is terrifying, especially with an AI controlling it that might know something we don't know. Horror. Hal9000 in sphere form.

Please share theories if you have them I am FASCINATED by this concept.

#Well... maybe not in the pond. I don't think. I didn't notice the one on the building until I looked at the photos at home.
