I haven't had much time (or energy) to get back on my tablet these last few days, but sketching traditionally is always nice– even with no back button. It's funny to see how differently I draw Ted's hair across this sketchbook (and his expressions. He progressively got grumpier). Consistency doesn't matter if it grows out over the course of the story ;]] 🦔

I feel like not enough people realize that people under enormous strain act really really fucking Weird

If someone is doing things that don't make Sense, try to understand that it is entirely possible that their brain is probably under an enormous weight and fracturing under the pressure. People who have been stabbed will sometimes talk a circle around the fact that they've been stabbed because stress and shock prevent you from recognizing the distress you are in and what you need to do to seek help for it. PTSD will do this also. You will find yourself repeatedly jamming a bag of frozen fruit into the same spot in the freezer where it doesn't fit and keeps falling, over and over and over, focused on nothing but that bag. You will decide that a beanbag chair is 10000% necessary to your life. You will lose your entire shit because you stubbed your toe on a table and that means the whole setup of your furniture is wrong. These are largely harmless examples. People under strain will also hurt themselves and others. Cornered animals bite. And it doesn't heal the bite to go "Hey, are you okay?" But it might get you to an animal that stops biting, so you can start to heal. And before you had an animal that bit, you probably had an animal that kept doing shit you didn't understand as stress signals

i will personally never understand that thing people do when theyre like "i thought this was a good piece of art until i realised its fetish/pornographic" like why does art lose value if the artist was a little horny when they made it. why is that so scary. im sure a lot of the old masters were doing portraits of their lovers slightly bricked up & theyre still displayed in museums. why is sexual arousal not an acceptable source of inspiration when like every other emotion is. well i mean i know why sadly but i do not like it so i'll continue to complain about it

i know most leftists agree that everybody should have a right to food, water, shelter, and healthcare but i think a vitally important fifth pillar is privacy. people should not be compelled to be tracked, monitored, or to share personal space with others to access their other essential rights

Why is Japanese the go-to language when choosing to name terms in a language besides English, even when it holds no connection to Japan? Why do people often say "this pack includes names from closed cultures, do not use if you aren't from that culture!" and only go on to include Korean, Japanese, and rarely Chinese, names? Why was there a spike in self ship flags upon finding out “yumeship” exists? Why do people claim to love Asia and disregard India, Pakistan, Turkey, and Vietnam? Why is it that whenever this is brought up, you'll have responses that it “isn't that deep” or that “you're overthinking it”?

I'm running on fumes. I haven't slept. I'm aggravated over this constant mistreatment. I know that others feel the same, I have bore witness to the posts from discourse prior. It has led to no change, I am tired.
