𝐇𝐄𝐘! It’s finally finished! So TLDR; I originally was planning on making a 2022 anime opening a long time ago, however life got busy and I started taking my career path more seriously and lost a lot of time! But I’ve always wanted to finish this, so now it’s just for 2026. There are a few reused illustrations from that season’s story in here just because I like them so much, the Akira slide was made for this originally and so were the Helmet POV illustrations. Anyways! The original goal was to finish this before the ThaiGP, but I think still managing to finish it before the season starts is enough of an accomplishment. I utilized some classic anime tropes as well as directly referenced the Naruto “No Boy, No Cry” opening for inspiration as far as shot compositions. This feels like yet another love letter to my favorite sport as much as it is a love letter to one of the pieces of media that influenced me the most! I really hope you guys enjoy, this was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed drawing all the riders this time around! (PS I never post here but this got no reach on YouTube so here I am.)
