OK OK i've had this on my noggin for a while and if you are unfamiliar with Hadestown PLEASE listen to the musical. i cannot reccommend it enough and it deserves your undivided attention and divorced (haha) from fandom influences.
For this AU everything pretty much plays out the same as the musical. I am just playing with toys and inserted Tenna and Spamton as the roles of Orpheus and Eurydice because they fit so well 😭 these are some of the earliest doodles i had done between commission work and other stuff because AAAAA i'm glad i'm not the only one that sees the vision (bless y'all in the TMC discord your minds a beautiful and phenominal *5000 chef kisses*)
I was stuck for the longest on roles besides the main couple but after some thinking and tweaking i think i got a decent role assignment:
Tenna as Oprheus
Spamton as Eurydice
Gerson as Hermes
Toriel as Persephone
Carol as Hades
FRIEND, Jevil, ERAM/Shadow Mantle Holder as the Fates
The last picture was honestly before i had an idea on who Hades would be (originally i was going to make it Asgore but he just DOES NOT fit Hades' demeanor/character...sorry fluff king) and honestly now i can picure Carol having FRIEND like a trained house pet so now it fits xD. MORE TO COME BECAUSE YA BOI DREW A LOT.
