my hc for electra, greaseball, and cb post-canon is that after the wreck they're not technically friends, they just keep antagonizing each other and REFUSE to leave each other alone because they're all different shades of petty and then like two years pass and they're basically a bizarre three stooges-style slapstick trio and possible polycule

favorite song the character is in: call me rusty!! it's my favorite of his intro songs. i also really like the original crazy!

favorite actor for this character: ray shell and marcel brauneis - ray shell's voice in call me rusty is what sold me on stex the first time i listened to it! he has such an unique, interesting sound to him. i also think marcel brauneis is particularly strong in starlight express and i do, i love listening to him :)

favorite ship with this character: pearl/rusty!! their interactions in the rewrite are especially cute tbh

favorite thing about this character: okay this REALLY depends on the production but i love how real he seems? he goes through a wide range of emotions, unlike a lot of the rest of the cast, so they feel a lot more static compared to him

something you’d change: wish he was played by an actor of color more often :( also like......it's 2021 can we get a woman playing rusty already or

random headcanon: have u considered trans girl rusty. would u like to

unpopular opinion: i think cynical, jaded rusty is a lot more interesting that naive, puppy-eyed rusty!

I've only seen the AU in passing and from what friends have mentioned about it. It seems to have made quite a few of them very uncomfortable

And just from that, all I can really say is its concerning and those involved with it might want to reevaluate it a bit.

Extra note: from those who know more about it than myself.

There's a issue with the implication of being "feral". Because these are trains. Robots. And not domesticated animals. And also just the terminology and how they speak about it (especially in a public space) makes it seem like border line fetish content.

The issue with Rusty and his history as a character versus the au's treatment of him.

There's also the fact that you just don't post some things in a public space. Some of that content would fall into the "keep it in a private server/between friends"
