berdly- I don’t think I’ve ever seen berdly seriously drawn as a magical girl before this lmao. I love berdly tho and I also think he should be allowed to be a cool magical girl and live the yuri dream. Berdly would be similar to Kyoto and show up later in the story and be a source of conflict , I don’t think he would know much about the implications of being a magical girl, and also similar mami, he could not handle it if he found out, so it depends on what timeline if he survives. I think despite knowing little about the darker parts of being a magical girl he would still highly discourage Noelle from becoming one, purely out of concern for her well-being( and he probably likes having something that he doesn’t need to rely on Noelle for because he would be somewhat powerful) maybe if Noelle was to become a magical girl he might become a witch out of insecurity seeing Noelle being much more powerful than him. I love edgy doomed berdly. I think berdly’s wish was probably doing something for his mother, which he was expecting praise from, but it never came and his mother grew even more distant which leads to quick regret. Susie is also similar to Kyoto, which I think is fitting because Susie and berdly’s characters are pretty similar if you think about it. Berdly’s outfit is heavily based on his darkworld form, in clouding his weapon being a halbert (which would also be a a bit more tech themed then everyone else) but I didn’t really think about it too much but I also thought he would look pretty with a headband. Im pretty happy with this design:)
Noelle- Noelle’s design is clearly similar to Madoka’s in the show but like bluer. I thought her original slight rose symbolism fits, and I think she would definitely be in a similar position to Madoka in this au, as in waiting a long time to become a magical girl, and having a lot of potential because of the soul possessing Kris( who has time travel powers) would likely be infatuated with her in particular. Im not sure she would make so noble of a wish as Madoka, and I think it depends exactly what the wish is based on the timeline. I think the soul/kris would be pressuring Noelle to become a magical girl, and like in deltarune she finds Kris acting off (no one knows they are possessed). Noelle’s weapon would probably be a bow and arrow like Madoka? Mostly because it’s a more powerful weapon and I genuinely can’t think of anything else (comment if u have an idea pls!!). Her sister would obviously be a magical girl turned which( therefore disappeared) which would likely contribute to her potential and how she was chosen to become a magical girl, but she would be unaware for a while about the nature of this disappearance. I don’t know what else to say about Noelle and it’s kinda funny how berdly’s paragraph is longer. Can you tell who my favorite character is.
