I love any ship name these two have, but I like referring to them as L&L because I don't think they care if it's Lucifer and Lilith, Lilith and Lucifer, Lilifer and Lucith. What matters is that they put the L in Love.

Charlie was raised in Heaven and her father has no idea she exists! Despite being warned of the Devil and forbidden from telling him of their connection, Charlie is determined to go down to Hell and help Sinners when she discovers the exterminations. She is desperate to prove to everyone that she is more than her lineage and can bring light to even the darkest place.

Aka I wanted to write a story where Charlie and Lucifer bond over shared experiences, they develop this blossoming father-daughter relationship, and help one another find parts of themselves they didn’t know were there.

Also there’s lots of world building because I find that so much fun! I took inspiration from what we knew at the time between both shows in the Hellaverse as well as the existing mythology/theology the show is based around. Another Morning Star purposefully follows the plot points of the first season, a sort of ‘how would things be different if’ scenario. What follows after diverges from canon almost entirely since season 2 was months away and I only had those few leaks some of us tried not to see. I’ve woven in some references, but the ending of Phosphorus will be nothing like the ending of Season 2.

I started writing and planning this series after season 1 of Hazbin had finished airing and was craving more interactions between Charlie and her dad! That’s the core of the story and leads into the true sequel Phosphorus. Although Trouble in Paradise is very relevant to the characters, their motivations, and parts of Phos and the stories I have planned after.

I’ve gotten so much love from all of my wonderful readers, so I wanted to take a moment to thank you!! I’m still writing Phosphorus as it was a much more ambitious story than I ever thought when plotting it all out. It’s been a real struggle for me to continue to write at times, but you keep me inspired and excited to sit down when I get the time.

Just a really big thank you to everyone! It’s been so cool to have people enjoy a story I almost let sit in my head.
