you have to forgive the printer because it's one of the most machine-ass machines we interact with on a day to day basis. that thing says kerchunk. hardly anything says kerchunk these days. you can't get mad at her when she kerchunks up a little.

these miis are driving me nuts
I want to preface this as I have no ego to speak of….
But do any of y’all ever just feel smarter than other people to the point where you think you should just shut up?
Not to blend in, but to just make sure people don’t give you ‘THE LOOK’ that tells you they aren’t interested or following what you say? To avoid the awkward ‘um anyways…’ start of another conversation?
Lately I feel like I can’t talk about things I’m interested in anymore or feel excited about them unless its with the one person I have where I can. You know who you are.
Anyways… being socially awkward sucks and I hate people…
I’ve spent $97 on 4 books to dive deeper into Polynesian tattoo artistry, so I plan on educating myself further on the style once they get here, but here’s my attempt to draw inspiration from it for one of my book characters.
He is based in Polynesian culture, but made differently as they had access to metals and other materials in my the story. So they will have plate armor much like Knights of medieval Europe, but I plan to make it match the forms the tattoo’s can take and incorporate the inked patterns into steel.
I hope my eventual fusion of inspirations doesn’t off put anyone as I’m trying to create this book as respectfully as possible because I love all the cultures I’m putting into it with my whole being. 🩷
Digital circus' biggest problem is that it was written to be a niche show aimed at weird analytical queers with actual media literacy and it accidentally blew tf up and hit the mainstream and a bunch of people who have never had a second thought about anything got into it

This is the most considerate advice for doing stretches I've ever seen??? Initially I started to go, "...but I can't do that with my knee-" then he showed a way I could do it. I was like... whoa. A video for stretching that is actually considerate towards my disabilities. Astounding and impressive.

"I need to stop starting fandom projects so I stop disappointing people."
it's okay to disappoint people
it's okay to work slowly
it's okay to let yourself rest
it's okay to drop projects
Stop treating yourself like you are the workers at a fast food franchise.
Your writing is a hobby, don't let it turn into a source of guilt, shame and frustration instead of a source of joy.
A lot of you on here sure don’t like the idea of making any kind of sacrifice for the benefit of others huh
Some of you act like doing minor inconvenient acts of kindness is equivalent to donating a kidney as if it’s not those acts that form our communities and make the world go around.
Return your grocery cart. If you’re able-bodied offer your seat to someone who is not. Help your friend move. Drive your sister to the airport. Make sure drunk people have a safe ride or walk home. Pet-sit for your coworker. Participate in a meal train. Volunteer in your area. That’s what friendship and community is about.
