New Profile Pic for meeeee
Final Good Enough Skullie Ref, for real this time!
Just your normal, non-threatening entity, whom you should in no way question the origin of.
WIP Skullie update for the curious; gonna fiddle w/ some things here and there, but otherwise, it's good!
A faceclaim commission I did for a friend c:
Sad House Man Vibes
Sorry, I haven't posted in a while. My vibes were off for a while, but I am getting better
A commission for a friend!
My friend dared me to do this c:

I've wanted to experiment with my work for a while, so I made characters and put them into photos I found online. I'll try my best to cite the images properly!

I'm almost done with a commission I've had for over 3 months, time for a celebration fusion!
Also, if I really grind it out, I think I will be able to post my first attempt at a video essay in about a month, maybe? IDK, this is a lot of unfamiliar territory for me, lmao. And I am still a wee bit embarrassed by the sound of my own voice, haha.
My first attempt to study the Prof. Layton art style. This is something I wanted to do since I was a kid, so getting around to it now feels amazing! Wish I had a better idea of how to do so efficiently, though...
I even did a version where I did a faux compression effect on the image, but I suppose the better action is to work on a smaller canvas. Also, I have a habit of adding more lines than necessary to certain designs due to a lack of confidence, so I'll be working on that next! c:
Might start doing a video series where I record my art studies and do little reports on what I am thinking with each attempt; sounds kinda fun!
I'm on a weekend trip and got in some watercolor time c:
It is a mix of some spooky art I saw and a short horror story my dad told me about!
To help make more frequent uploads, I decided to post WIPs of my characters/projects, hopefully making an interesting timeline for my development process. Keep in mind that these are part WIP and part art studies, so I will make note of my references in my desc.
Here is my first attempt at drawing one of my characters from an original fiction project. Nowhere near her final design, but a good start at figuring her out, I used Nausicaa and Fio from Studio Ghibli as references.
Iona Fontaine is the main character in my story, Flight of the Dragonfly. She is an acrobatics pilot turned gunner ship pilot for hire by people looking to make caravan trains through the Ætheinite Desert. I'll post more about her after some research into the influences I want her to have[i.e., cultures, professions, etc.], but I will say her overall character arc surrounds themes of forgiveness and self-acceptance.
Also, goofy hair has plot relevance, but I definitely need to make it look less punk and more reflective of Iona's character. All easier to design AFTER I do my pre-production research, lol!
warm-up/art-study that I did before working on a commission

Part art study, part fan art! I gave myself a 24hr time limit to complete this, and I am pretty proud of it c:
