The kid next door (talking toddler age) is playing outside and just wiped out in his Fisher Price car, and I just heard the babysitter say, “oh no, your insurance premium is definitely going to go up!” And the kid who had only been mildly sniffling before made the most confused, but startled sound you’ve ever heard.

Just very clearly an attempt at saying, “my what?”

Recently came to terms with the fact that I do want bottom surgery. Ok, now what? It's going to be years until I either make it through the waitlists or save enough to afford it, so like I'm back to just not acknowledging it much to manage the "dysphoria was always more than you realized, you just got to used to everything being in nightmare mode"

Wish it was easier to access. My bottom dysphoria is legit Not That Bad (tm), but like yeah, the only thing keeping me is material conditions and that fucking sucks.

If you ever need or want help navigating the process My DM's and asks are open and I'm slowly building up resources on the blog. There very much are people willing and able to make this whole thing a little easier so never be afraid to ask questions when you need to. The system is built on decades of gatekeeping and there's no shame in asking for help in navigating the labyrinth of bullshit they make you sort through.

the body acceptance movement, while a positive force by itself, has been weaponized against us into the notion that its more healthy to accept the bodies that bring us misery than it is to seek transition. Body acceptance only works as a concept when it fights against society’s harmful standards, not alongside them

for any girl who thinks she needs to place her activism above her own needs, the happiness of transfems is incredibly important to our continued survival. It is praxis for you to have a body that makes you happy
