the young brown haired boy scratched the back of his head sheepishly. “I was terrible at using the harp first…I had a friend teach me.” A sad but fond smile spreads on his face as he recalled Fi teaching him how to play the harp. He knew the sword spirit was made (he hated to use that word, but that was what she said) to be patient but he’d like to think that she was just patient with him on her own.
he blinks, tilting his head to the side a bit. ”His voice is magical..?” His voice is perked with curiosity, ”…Is it that good?” He mumbled to himself. There is no doubt that he had not heard the other Link speak at all since the two found him. It doesn’t bother him – there were a few quiet people on Skyloft and he can usually speak enough for two people. Now he was just curious.
as soft sigh escaped him as he realized how warm the house was when they walked in. When he looks over to the blonde, he smiled brightly at his nod. ”We found a ripe squash!” He set it down on the counter, off to the side from what the other Link was doing as to not get in the way.

He gives the squash a quick once-over, and satisfied, he nods at the child, silently telling him he had done well, settling the mince into the small pans, a hum leaving him as he did so, the edges of the dough folded over and pinched together over the meat, giving it the appearance of a drawstring purse. He offers the boy an encouraging nod, before opening the oven and sliding the pies in to bake.
“Ooh – who was your friend?” Proxi asks, eyes big. “Do you think she could teach me? I’d love to play a mini harp.” Link, who had remained quiet outside of the greeting hum, snorts inelegantly. “You better not be laughing at me you jerk!” Link, already in the process of cutting the squash in half, looks up and sparkles innocently at her, his smile absolutely angelic. “Grrr.” She growls, though it sounds more like a squeak, and Link’s snickering behind a hand as he layers butter and brown sugar over the tender flesh of the squash.
his beam widened radiantly, as the other approved of his choice in squash. If anything, he knows a lot about curcurbita vegetation especially since he had been working with Pumm and Kina. They had their fair amount of squash but mostly pumpkins. He had gotten pretty good at being able to carry a stack of them to harvest for the soups that he loves so much.
slipping on to the stool nearby, the dark haired boy watched as the taller man created the ‘minced pie’. His eyes flicker over to Proxi, blinking. ”Huh-? Oh...” His smile faltered as he stared down at the ground, memories of his previous journey coming back to his mind. With a small sigh, he smiles dejectedly. ”She...isn’t around any longer – she had other roles to play, I guess.” It’s only moments later that his regular grin started to spread on his face. ”I’m sure she would have taught you though! She was a bit off key but...” He laughed nervously, scratching his cheek with his index finger. “If anything, I guess Zelda could teach you too! I mean, the harp is originally hers but she still lets me borrow it.”
