if there’s one trend i hope dies in the future it’s making fun of light mode users

there’s a lot of valid reasons to use it (including, y’know, just preferring it) but i personally use it because i have cataracts that make reading small light text on dark backgrounds on really difficult sometimes and it sucks being made fun of for using what is to me an accessibility aid

anyways i don’t think a lot of ppl think about it tbh. i know i certainly didn’t before i had to start primarily using light mode! so i figured it was something worth bringing up 🤷

btw idk how it works on other devices but in iOS if you are tired of being blinded by light mode you can turn down the white point to make it less intense

im reading this manga abt this divorced woman who falls in love with her neighbor and i really love the artists style because the way the artist draws her makes it apparent that theres not only something deeply wrong with her but it veers into looking like a horror manga at points

this lady has a schoolgirl crush and is a total crybaby and she looks like a creature from a junji ito manga

my girlfriend wanted more than the amount of children you can adopt in skyrim so she taught herself how to mod it so that you could adopt them all, and uploaded it to a skyrim modding community so other likeminded player could utilize her code.

months later, an update was added to skyrim that was basically her code, verbatim, lifted directly from the mod, without credit or even permission. this made her so angry that she, at age seventeen, booked a flight to maryland, went to bethesda headquarters and demanded to see todd himself to yell at him.

of course, she was immediately denied this request and escorted out of the building because she was a scary six foot seventeen year old canadian lesbian who had flown all the way to yell at a man who probably had no idea her code was stolen, but she is still legitimately, 100% furious with him to this day
