It was a really good experience. My friends and I met Professor Jennifer and Sean at the airport during our placement, and we were very happy to see them. I was assigned to the kiosk area, where I helped passengers with their needs.

While assisting passengers, they were very happy with my help and even asked me to take a photo of them. I also took a photo on my phone for my blog.😜 It felt very rewarding to help people and see that they were happy because of my support.

The flight attendants from Cathay Pacific were also very kind. I asked if we could take a picture together for my blog, and they kindly agreed. They were friendly and nice. 🤗

I truly appreciate this opportunity, and I am very happy to be doing my placement with Cathay Pacific. 🛫🛬

Monday, February 9th😍🤳😊

This month, I completed my first four night shifts. I was working in SSBD, and it was a good experience for me. The shifts were busy, but I liked being busy because the time passed quickly.

Working night shifts helped me improve my time management and teamwork skills. I learned how important communication is during the night to make sure everything runs smoothly. Overall, I have enjoyed my night shift experience so far and look forward to doing more.

Day 2. Of Placement Reflection / 06.01.2026 👩‍✈️❤️

On my second day of placement, I felt very happy and confident wearing the Cathay Pacific uniform. Red is one of my favorite colors, and wearing the uniform made me feel proud and professional. My shift was at the kiosk, and I felt much more comfortable compared to the first day, as it was my second time working in that area.

One of my best experiences was assisting a passenger who asked if I could print their boarding pass and baggage tag. I was happy to help, and after completing the task, the passenger asked if I was traveling on the flight. I explained that I was completing my placement with Cathay Pacific and shared my aspiration to work as a flight attendant with the airline in the future.

This interaction boosted my confidence and reinforced my passion for pursuing a career as a flight attendant. I am truly grateful to Seneca College and Cathay Pacific for providing me with this valuable opportunity, which has strengthened my skills, confidence, and career goals. 🤗🛬🛫

Day 1.

• First day of Placement with Cathay Pacific. I'm officially starting my placement with Cathay Pacific, and I'm incredibly grateful for this opportunity to be part of such a globally respected airline. I began my day surrounded by beautiful Christmas vibes before heading to the airport, taking the bus to Broadview Station, the train to Kipling Station, and the 900 express bus to Terminal 3. Although the commute was challenging, I knew it would be worth it. After arriving at the airport, it took a few minutes to find the elevator to the office, but I stayed focused and arrived on time, which was very important to me. Once everything was set up with other students from Seneca, we went downstairs to prepare the counters, and I was assigned to work at the kiosk. I assisted many passengers with the kiosks, tagged baggage, and printed boarding passes, making the experience both fun and rewarding. I truly enjoyed working with my Cathay Pacific family and fellow Seneca students, and the day flew by, marking a memorable and exciting start to my placement journey.
