For some background info, of course I despise JK Rowling’s transphobia amongst other actions of hers. I’ve always found the books interesting and I enjoyed reading them, but once I received the news about her actions I started avoiding anything that could benefit her, especially financially.

I need your help with this dilemma- one of my parents’ companies has offered our family a chance to take a tour around the new Harry Potter studio. I’m still a little blurry on the details, but I know that it will certainly bring Rowling some kind of benefit, whether monetary or not.

Of course, I don’t want to support Rowling or fill her pockets, but I know that if we refuse, the company will simply pass the opportunity onto someone else and she’ll get the benefit anyways.

What should I do?

reading: i am currently listening to lukas gage's memoir on audiobook, lol. i had to work through it slowly at first because his teenage experiences reminded me a lot of my own, especially wilderness therapy. so that was a bit hard to read. where i'm at in the book now, he's an adult in hollywood doing crazy hollywood things. so that's a bit more fun. i'm quite enjoying it and laughing out loud at innoportune moments. and getting frequent secondhand embarrassment.

last series:

bruh... the league. i was visiting my friend in utah and it was the only thing we could both agree upon to watch. he doesn't like my taste in TV and i don't like his so we settled on a lowbrow comedy about fantasy football that requires very little attention to enjoy. which i have enjoyed watching in spite of myself.

last film:

said friend and i in utah watched about a third of trainspotting on my iphone on a piracy site in my new van that i spent all my money on and then ended up hooking up before we could finish the movie. i'm making really great life choices, you see. the last film i watched before that was also trainspotting. by myself.

last song:

the last DJ by tom petty has been stuck in my head all day so let's go with that one. i've also been obsessively listening to holy fvck by demi lovato (the whole album).

sweet or salty: because of my interstitial cystitis, i can't eat or drink anything sweet. i make up for it by copiously salting my sweet potato fries. in theory though i have a huge sweet tooth and i miss sugar so bad.

coffee or tea: can't have either due to IC but if i could i would be drinking arizona right now. coffee tastes great but has always made me sick.

working on: my health. in a few days i'll be flying to alabama to visit an IC specialist and visit relatives. after that i go see an allergist. i'm back in therapy for the first time in many years because this year has been such a low point for me physical-health wise that it nuked my mental health as well. besides that i'm working on saving enough simoleons to build the community center in the sims free play.

and hopefully, my actual job will start soon. it was supposed to start in november but the building is still under construction.

reading: i've been getting really into scott pilgrim lately, if that counts. i'm not much of a reader of actual books honestly

series: very corny, but me and my dad have been watching 90 day fiance together lately. as far as stuff i actually like though i have like a dozen shows on my netflix watch later that i havent had time to get to. but i do watch taskmaster and 48 hours

movie: me and my friends got bored a couple weeks ago and watched the five nights at freddys movie. it was alright for a kids movie

song: just checked, everybody wants to rule the world - tears for fears. not very indictive of my usual music taste but i mix things up sometimes

sweet or salty: can't really answer as a blanket statement, it really depends on the food and my mood. sweets are great sometimes, so is salty stuff.

coffee or tea: i can't do either, caffeine makes me anxious and i'm not a tea fan. tea if i had to pick though because it won't cause me harm

working on: it's dumb, but over my break i've started a minecraft world that i've gotten pretty into. also reconnecting with some old friends for froyo later this week, if that counts

Reading: I've been alternating between The Last Time I Saw Him and rereading Young Justice (1998), if comic books count. I love yj98, and tltish isn't bad either.

Series: I think the last time I watched a series it was when I was watching Gossip Girl with my friends before Christmas. I started watching in the middle of Season 1 and damn. Those Girls sure do Gossip.

Movie: My siblings and I found a DVD for Emma recently and watched that. It wss alright. Not my favourite adaption.

Song: It was The Shifting Mound Movement 1 if game soundtracks count. If not, then Wooden by Sparkbird. Everyone go play Slay the Princess and listen to Sparkbird (not at the same time) right now.

Sweet or Salty: For popcorn and other handheld snacks, salty! Sweet stuff tend to be sticky and I don't really like that. I prefer pastries and other baked goods to be seeet though.

Coffee or Tea: I don't usually drink either, but if I had to choose then tea. Coffee does less than nothing to me, so there isn't much point in me drinking it. That being said, though, I only really like one or two types of tea.

Working on: Just assignments, fanfic, and art, pretty much.

Reading: The Ministry of Time by Kaliane Bradley - half for assignment work and half because it's an enjoyable book

Series: my friends were watching Waterloo Road and I joined them partway through the second season i believe? I little to no context but with the amount of episodic drama in each one i think I'll manage without it

Movie: Chinthavishtayaya Shyamala (malayalam film), not bad, an older one, watched it mainly because thr actor and potentially either writer or director Vineeth Sreenivasan died and so just watching some of his older stuff recently

Song: The Bird Song by Noah Floersch (was the song that clicked for all of yesterday)

Sweet or Salty: hmm good question. I honestly am not sure, i do like it when i have both together. I've developed a bit of a sweet tooth recently but not enough to take away my love of a good salty snack. Let's say sweet because I've been eating more of it.

Coffee or Tea: coffee all the way - though I don't have it very often! I don't like tea (ikr what a strange indian and strange british person i am) but i might have a ginger and lemon tea with honey if I'm sick. Otherwise coffee and I don't like it very hot. If it's going to be hot, then a black coffee with a bit of sugar and if it's sweet then iced with milk and some sort of syrup. Haven't had coffee in a while maybe I'll make some...

Working on: assignments and some writing. Plan to draw a bit but we'll see

movie: I kinda hate movies lol, but I watched Tokyo Godfathers for the first time last year and thought it was pretty good! Not perfect but good, and most importantly unique :D

Does anyone else absolutely love how this scene, where Zooble accepts their changeability, builds on their therapy session with Caine in episode 3 and their little moment with Gangle in episode 6 (a.k.a. the best Astragedy scene in all of TADC)?!?!?

If you remember, while all the others were in the haunted house, Zooble was with Caine, talking about how much they hated their "stupid removable pieces" because they wanted to find pieces that "feels good". Because the way they see it, the only way they can truly find peace with themselves is if they find pieces they wouldn't want to change out of (no pun intended).

And then a few episodes later, they're talking with Gangle about how she should choose to love herself "even if it doesn't make sense" because the thing Gangle hates herself for is a part of who she is, and "the only part of you that you should care about is the real you." It made for a beautifully poignant moment because Gangle's struggles were very similar to Zooble's own struggles, and their experiences allowed them to give Gangle the help she needed.

And that brings us to Episode 7, where the little wisdom that they gave Gangle not only helped Gangle accept who she is, BUT ALSO HELPED ZOOBLE ACCEPT WHO THEY ARE!!!!!!!!!!!!

And that's what makes Zooble and Gangle such wonderful characters (and Abstragedy such a wonderful ship!) because not only do these two care about and love each other so dearly, but they also understand each other's struggles and experiences so intimately, which allows them both to help each other and THEMSELVES!!!!!!!!!

And y'all wonder why I say that Abstragedy is objectively the best TADC ship.
