six chuckled softly as he shook his head at her act. âiâm sorry, but rules are rules.â he responded with a disappointed tone, a smile threatening to poke through but he was determined enough to keep it in. he put his chin in his hand as he looked up at the ceiling in thought, âhmm, you know i could probably come up with something where you just throw yourself to the floor. iâm sure it would, itâd be a perfect choreo for you!â six leant back onto his palms as he looked in front of him at sky. his smile never seemed to falter with their conversation. this felt easy, it felt nice to justâŠtalk. no matter how ridiculous the conversation. âbut i am, according toâŠcertain people. whenever i would dance in competitions, they would describe some of my expressions as âdramaticâ. it was great.â his smile widened as he allowed himself to move with her hand, âyou havenât, so youâre good. i justâŠreally liked dancing. i wanted to make something out of myself and dancing was something i turned out to be decent at. itâs how i got âsixâ as a nickname.âÂ
she understood completely what he was saying. and even if it wasnât a set rule that she couldnât keep tripping over her feet while dancing, she guessed it would make her a quite unpleasant dance partner anyways. and normally she wouldnât mind; she never felt like a pleasant companion in any space, to start with, but she found six nice and didnât really feel like bothering him for any reason. âitâs okay,â she replied to his apology, laughing a little. ânow weâre speaking the same language,â she replied with excitement, placing both of her hands together and widening her eyes slightly. âin any case, to do the move better iâll just get a bit tipsy before the class begins and itâll all come natural to me. iâll be a dancer in no time.â she closed her eyes and opened her palms, dragging them over her chest, as if she was receiving inspiration that suddenly came to her. she changed her expression when he spoke again, though, to one of confusion. âhuh? is that a bad thing?â she questioned, furrowing her eyebrows. âi mean... not that i know shit about dancing but being expressionless while dancing isnât a good thing, or is it? i would take that as a compliment. but maybe iâm wrong.â with a shrug, she ended her opinion on the subject. her next movement was a nod, a slow one, to show she was paying attention to his words even when she wasnât looking at him. although she couldnât make the association between dancing and âsixâ being his nickname, she chose to not inquire any further and just keep nodding. âi see. six is a cute nickname, it suits you.â she agreed, smiling. âin fact, i donât even think i know or remember your real name.â
