"Woah, woah, where's the fire?" Several cadets ran past her and this one happened to shoulder check her, by accident to be sure, but she was a small woman. Barely checking at five foot two inches. The new uniform fit snugly and her hair was pulled back. Big black eyes finding the young man's and then looking off after the other cadets. Then dropping to a knee to start picking up the supplies that had gone scattering across the floor. Hopefully the charcoal didn't smear on the ground. "Help a lady out, would you?"

he'd always wanted to go to the starfleet academy , and now it's like christmas . . . the doctor is finally here ! despite bending the rules ever so slightly , thanks to the psychic paper . trying his best to blend in , but funnily enough , it did not work . . . again .

the klingon had already spotted him , taking a breath , the doctor was already asking three million questions . all out of curiosity , of course . klingons had a reputation and naturally , the doctor was trying to establish if this one was a friend or foe .

❛  oh , babes . . . i've been to qo'nos and barely escaped with my life .   ❜ he sighs , autumnal hues flickered to other cadets who seemed to be enjoying themselves . but the delirium archive had not been kind to klingon legacies , their legends spoke of a barbaric species hellbent on waging war .

❛  klingons don't have a good rep , honey . i'm trying not to let history make my mind up for me .   ❜ he smiles softly , hoping that he was making a good decision . for once , he hoped the archives were wrong and that this particular klingon was good . . . offering a hand . ❛  i'm the doctor , by the way .   ❜

so this one is for @startold bc i love hope with my full heart, naturally, but also bc i think i have a sims 4 save file which has a build that's 56% rooms for hope's muses! sincerely, hope, every time u make a muse, i'm making fan club t-shirts and starting a parade in their honour. michael's bedroom is still one of my favorite builds ever, like truly what an icon he is! if my dash went without you, it'd be a lot less brighter than it is when you're shining away on it!

also, you're this close to making me watch st.ar trek. which one, i hear you ask? perhaps all of them, idk, i'm just a girl who's going to watch anything you ask me to. the only thing stopping me is knowing that they won't be as brilliant as your portrayals. which, impossible standards, i can't blame them, but STILL!

in addition to your frankly outrageous talents, you're also one of the kindest and best people i know. you juggle your phenomenal writing skills with a super intense job and taught me how to balance these two sphere in doing so! you've sent me videos and reels before that had me giggling and kicking my feet. you radiate so many excellent vibes, you have the patience of an absolute saint (as does anyone who chooses to follow me!) and in each and every single one of your posts, people are always as excited and happy as i am to see you! we've been friends for a while, and i can't imagine that changing. you're a wonderful soul, i love you dearly, and we're gonna be plotting some frankly dangerously excellent stuff together once capitalism releases me!

a quiet nature is, compared to some of the personalities they're around, probably a good thing. she knows not to take his silence personally  &&  he knows by now how expressive hers can be. but there's always beauty to be found: maeve truly needs to believe that, little hum leaving her as she shifts, climbing higher in tree above him.
