[In another flash of light, you can see again. Your sight is split in two, you're both looking up at the raining sky and the brightest flash of lightning you've ever seen, and you're looking down at yourself standing on the edge of a cliff.]

[Your vision merges into one again as white-hot pain strikes you with the prismatic electricity from above. It courses through your whole body, paralyzing you completely. Just as quickly as you gained your vision again, the world goes black, but this time you feel your body hit the ground with a heavy thud.]

This isn't a finalized timeline (can't show my other screenshot because spoilers) but god staying organized with a huge cast like Warriors is really difficult

Need births, deaths, apprentices and mentors, parents and kits at minimum if you want to avoid weird timeline problems and its still hard to avoid. Especially since I'm trying to avoid giving apprentices to anyone under 24 moons, and I still ended up with three 15 moon old mentors (to be fair, two are lore-related) and a handful of 20-something moon old mentors

I have 67 cats over the course of 100 moons in Lushclan alone, most of them being dead, but necessary for some of the older characters and just so I have choices of mentors and whatnot. I am not usually a very organized person but I am trying very hard. Hopefully this main timeline will be done within a week, since I want to restart on June 1st.

Pigeontrail joins the Clan as Pigeonkit on Moon 41.

The rules for the contest are as follows:

To enter the contest, you may reblog this post with your design entry, tag me in a post of your design entry, or send your design entry in an ask.

The contest will end on the 24th of April 2026. I will choose the winner's entry soon after.

Pigeontrail should be designed as a young adult! If you'd like, you can include an apprentice/kit design/doodles too, but that is totally optional.

Pigeontrail joins DaisyClan as a newborn kit, so you should not come up with a backstory for him.

You don't have to stick exactly to the sprite design, but there should be some resemblance to it and no outlandish changes (e.g. don't change him to like a tortoiseshell or something lol)

I don't think I have to say this but just in case, do not use AI, steal or trace to create your entry to the contest.

There have been SO many amazing entries that I am retroactively installing additonal prizes.

There will now be three winners: first place and two runner-ups. Only first place will have their Pigeontrail design chosen for the comic, but all three will get fullbody drawings of a warriors/clangen original character of theirs. All three will be announced in the winners announcement post.

Here's my entry!! A big pretty version of the design and how I would simplify the design a bit for actual comic-work... still not the friendliest comic design, but it seemed fun!

Also below the cut a completely different design I made for the contest but ended up liking too much so I'm keeping it unless heavily persuaded to part with it... Also was complex for a comic but definitely was simpler than what's above

Finished all turnaround references for the entirety of Lushclan. This is a HUGE step, especially paired with what I've already gotten done.

You can expect this blog to get back on its feet soon! I'm shooting for June 1st, so mark your calendars 👀

In total, we have roughly 550 unique drawings in this project made so far. Over halfway to 1k! Isn't that crazy? This project has so much backend work before anything fun its absurd, but it should keep the workload SUPER easy for me going forward.

Turnarounds count for 3 drawings unless I had to edit for asymmetry

The individual herb and prey items count for one drawing rather than individual drawings per piece of prey / herb. If I counted them individually I'd be around 600 drawings.

I did include some of my silly doodles and memes in the total because they're fun and a good chunk of them are being used as emojis in the MYP discord (which will eventually be open to the public)

Every character has at least one fullbody art, stats, classes, knacks, and brief personality/history written down. Some characters have family trees decided upon. All Lushclan cats have multiple expressions and turnarounds, but only two other cats do outside of Lushclan.

I just need to edit some old expressions to better fit the current style, make more backgrounds, and finish the map! Wish me luck 🙏
