first week lil moments

a student asked me why I am always smiling, I said cause I enjoy being here :) he said why? and I said Cause I like y'all!!! and he made a stink face at me lol

a student asked me if I am going to be living at the school forever, I told him at least all year.

teaching pre-k is easy you just have to say "thank you, go back to your spot now please" after every sentence.

i have recently like connected with someone i had a crush on before i met my ex. Im not like still attracted to them or anything like that but it made me think about the fact there are other ppl out there besides my ex like theres actually cooler and much better ppl out there so that was a good feeling.

ive been crying for like several days straight, but in a good way cause im just like shocked by the school district i should be working at soon, and the school staff I met so far, everyone has been beyond kind and supportive helping me get along in my certification requirements so i can start there.

ive like really lost a lot of faith in people, and community and all that over the past couple of months, but these people were exactly what I need in my life, they made me feel so optimistic about all this :)

I forgot just how great people can be.

I think my future is gonna be pretty awesome, and I think they do too :)
