So, recently there was a secret santa thing over at Entervoid This was my contribution to the deal. Santa pulled the delightful Crackingskulls to be the recipient.

Created using a bit of a different method to my usual works (as I'm sure you can see). Thinking about keeping up with this direction. What do any of you think?

Recently got into WoW, bought the physical deluxe of Draenor with the art book. And this is some sketch inspired by that.

Pencil Test in Sai. Getting a -much- better effect then in Manga Studio. X3 Time to see if the switch to digital can allow me to keep a more sketchy, but still finished feeling work like I tried and failed to years ago...

Working on New character sheet for Kale so that she can finally be her own fighter on the site. XD

Just found and old memory. Behold, the first image of Kale, prevoid, circa 2004-5. Story was kinda a future fantasy thing. She was a lot kinder and happier then. Still envisioned her with a general 'British ' accent.

Other work I did today/night. Hangout buddy and Fellow Void story plotter called for a nifty fan art thing for a snazzy figure, so let's see if him waking up to this in a few hours nets me an Ayane. X3

(I have no clue why she has her hand up there. I don't see her the saluting type... oh well. We could just say she is sorta holding down her hair from whatever is causing the wind to kick up.)

Worked on this in sai. Still within my comfort zone... I think later this week, I'm going to have to start getting out of it a little.

More Kale goodness. Really liking how all of this is coming together.

First shot is Kale in a new outfit... not sure what for, but I like it. X3

Second is her attitudes. She rarely smiles and you will only find an honest smile from her if she considers you family. Most of the time, she just tolerates your resistance. No one on the 'hate' level... yet. We'll see after she is her own proper character on void.

Trying to feel out Kale’s new body type. Moving a little bit away from her old ‘muscle girl’ version as Anita has that honor. Still, I like her being a little athletic looking. Gave her a bit more in the bust and hips though. She has tone but not the full on mountain that Anita is.

Figured a swim suit pic would work best for it. X3

I've been showing this off in the hangout, but here, have a Kale in her default mood: disgruntled. (though, technically, this is closer to 'just woke up' Kale, but not quite)

So after a little waffling, I have decided to make Kale her own character at last. This will be the symbol she wears on her outfit. More to come.
