BEFORE YOU FOLLOW. This is the first and only warning I will give that my blog is going to contain dark, mature, and at times questionable content. Viona is not a happy character and anyone familiar with BG3 and specifically the Dark Urge origin will know why. REGARDING DRAMA. PLEASE BE AWARE that I am 100% new to the BG3 roleplay community and, therefore, unfamiliar with any past and present problematic people and any other related events. As such, I ask that if you do see me writing with such people in the community (or from other rp communities), please inform me with sources. Do not assume I know every single thing that has happened. Do not assume 'guilty by association'. I prefer to avoid any such people. I curate my dash so my time here is comfortable for me and anything that will affect that will not be tolerated here. If you don't like the content of my blog simply do not follow, and block if you need to.
OO1. General roleplay etiquette applies here. Please reblog memes from their source rather than from me, do not steal my written headcanon posts (as those are important to my portrayal), and I do not tolerate ableism, homophobia, transphobia, or any such bigoted bullshit. I'm old and have no qualms about keeping my dash and follower list free of nasty shit. Also, don't follow me if you use AI.
OO2. My blog is open to Original Characters and AUs will be established as needed for crossover purposes. As a rule I'm open to most fandoms but will primarily be focusing on Baldur's Gate III and DND-based characters in general, as those are what will be the most relevant to the blog.
OO3. I do format my replies, specifically with small text, dividers, and bolded + coloured speech. I do not mirror formatting but will tweak my own as I feel necessary. If you need regular-sized text or any such adjustments and it isn't already in your rules, please let me know! Also note that I prefer not to use icons but may do so on occasion. No pressure to mirror either way.
004. As far as thread length is concerned, my comfortable spot is single- and multi-paragraph. I am willing to do longer threads but they must be plotted out first, even if it's only something to establish the setting and some loose story beats we'd like to hit. Keep in mind that my activity will be low to moderate and I make use of the queue more often than I post immediate responses.
005. Regarding shipping, I am open to it but it will not be a priority. Viona doesn't prioritise relationships, especially if romance seems possible, and is more interested in no-strings-attached sex. You're welcome to ask if you'd like to discuss the possibility of a more in-depth ship! Just know that it would need plotting and chemistry for long-term dynamics and would be a slow-burn if anything romantic is the goal. Regardless of the dynamic, be aware that any ships with Viona will contain dark themes. He is possessive of people he considers 'his', and his love language is that of a wild animal (AKA, he will offer dead things as gifts and likes to bite). If any of this bothers you, please consider if you really want that ship.
006. Given the content of the blog and just... Viona in general, I may be reluctant to follow first but know that if I do so (or I follow you back), I am interested in writing with you! If you change your mind and wish to unfollow later down the line, please hardblock as my memory isn't the best and I'd hate to re-follow if you weren't comfortable with that.
007. My DMs are always open for OOC chatting and plotting. I'd rather use those than the inbox, or my Discord is available to mutuals if that's easier.
008. Lastly, I do not send in blog passwords / phrases / etc ; if I've followed your blog, then I have read your rules prior to doing so and will consult them periodically to refresh my memory.

Vi likes salty and spiced meals and snacks the best. Salted meats are a special favourite, and he enjoys sampling peppers if ever he's at street markets
If he has to pick a favourite animal, he alternates between cats and lizards. If not for knowing his Urge would lead to eventual injury or death of pets, he would gladly have a cat, be it small or large
He has a fondness for soft textures. If he's planning to stay somewhere for a while, he will always indulge with two 'essential' purchases: a large, thick blanket and a fur / pelt rug
Any gold accessory is a guaranteed win, and additionally if it's something plain / understated
He also likes bones. Smaller and delicate are his favourite, and he loooooves any from strange, unusual, or 'exotic' creatures
If Vi likes you, he will do small tasks to make your life easier. Think having snacks handy for you, laying out any hair- and skincare items the night before, or adjusting any askew bits of hair and your clothing
There is always a faint scent of blood around him
You know he trusts you a lot if he lets you touch his hair. If he lets you help him brush and style it, know he is willing to kill at your command

There are specific times you will see Viona with his hair completely down.
The most common (and probably obvious) is when he brushes it in the morning. While he does keep it braided for sleep (or attempts at sleep), he does take that braid out so he can brush any tangles out, and will then re-braid his hair and pin it into his preferred bun. In a similar vein, he brushes it before settling in for bed and that means it's briefly taken out of whatever style it was in during the day.
The next one is after sex. He will not have his hair loose during because there's simply too much of it and it gets in the way ; do not ask him to take his hair out because the answer will almost always be no. (The only exception to this will be with someone he trusts enough not to take advantage of the situation.) You'll know he's had enough when he pulls away, sits up, and starts tending to his hair. Any attempts to initiate more sex (or even just pleasuring his partner) will be turned down.
The other is if he's seducing someone known to like people with long hair. (Again, probably an obvious caveat.) He doesn't like these situations because his preference is heavily for keeping his hair contained in his usual braid+bun style or an unpinned braid, but he'll endure it as long as he must to get what he needs โ whether that's information, something else, or the person's death.
FIGS. sweet, sticky, they have a earthy, honey like flavor. figs were cleopatra's favorite fruit. she ordered that the snake she intended to end her life with, be brought to her hidden in a basket of figs. an ancient fruit that has always fascinated painters, poets and storytellers. yours too is a love that should belong to books and paintings.
your love is steady, the people you love know how deep your feelings are because you always remind them how much you love and desire them, and that you will always be there. maybe not with words, expressing your feelings might not be easy for you. it's your actions and attentions that let them know, because they feel seen and heard.
figs are lucious, sensual fruits. you're a passionate lover, you crave warmth and touch. you do not fall in love easily, maybe you used to when you were younger but you have now learned better. because you learned that when you love you give it all, you sacrifice a lot and you cannot do that carelessly. like the female fig wasp that, when entering an unripe fig to pollinate its flowers, loses her antennae and wings.

stabbing as a metaphor for penetration is great but when are we going to talk about pressing down on where someone is wounded to disarm them or just to be cruel while fighting. does nobody else care about the perverse intimacy of knowing exactly where to touch to overpower someone. the grotesque vulnerability of it. especially if you're the one who wounded them in the first place.
The short version : In search of more power (as if being a Bhaalspawn wasn't already enough -) , Vi makes a pact in exchange for magic to augment his innate abilities. For the most part, he leaves his patron alone, only reaching out to them when he wishes to re-negotiate the terms of the pact (which doesn't happen often; he's pretty satisfied with the original terms).
When he isn't dealing with Cult-related business, he can be found wandering Baldur's Gate, whether that be window-shopping in stores with magical items, meeting with people useful to the Cult, or working with fellow magic-users to further his own knowledge.
Also, doesn't hide the dark circles as much + his hair is generally neater.
