I am posting this right before I’m gonna go to bed, but I have been wanting to share my Alastor fan redesign. So behold… what I came up with for Alastor! 🧡📻🦌🌹

Truth be told I am not used to drawing original designs as I’ve mainly drawn from reference, even Gacha, but I knew I wanted a certain something in my head and trusted my gut to try out whatever would work. (Though I did do this on my drawing app so I could see how long it took for me to come up with the final design, and I have spent 70 hours trying to put it all together. 😓)

While I’m here talking about this, here are some fun facts about him!

- Alastor does have a tail but it’s under the coat.

- His teeth glow when he speaks.

- When he’s eating or speaking menacingly, think of Jax when he speaks with his teeth like normal cartoon style and then suddenly he shows sharp teeth and lip syncs. (I think it would also be more menacing where in the pilot Alastor goes “I would have done so already” where when he talks normally his teeth show as the radio inspired cartoony teeth glowing, and then suddenly he lip syncs that line while his eyes look freaky and the static happens.)

- I decided to give him orange instead of red because I felt like he fit Wrath more than Pride, though that might be hard to judge.

- The monocle and staff was given to him by Rosie.

- In my version of him, he has a voice box in his chest because when he was alive he would be listened to on the radio rather than seen on a picture screen, so in a way it gave him a voice of influence therefore cursing him to be stuck being part radio in a way. And it would make things more interesting because when Adam strikes him in the chest, I imagine it would have consequences to his voice barely functioning.

I changed the outfit to red because I thought Pride was actually much more fitting for Alastor, but I darkened the red because I wanted him to stand out compared to the other characters color wise while at least one or two more characters will have red.

But honestly, I think both the orange and red outfits are valid for my Alastor design, I would mainly be using red though to keep it more accurate to the show in my own way. But what do you guys think?

I will be drawing a reference sheet for this guy that includes his outfit underneath the coat and other features for this guy. I also am unsure on how to do the voice box thing because I didn’t think that through and it kinda would get in the way of the certain events in Season 2, so I decided against it. It could be a concept of its own, but not necessarily something connected to the show itself. 😅

*casually teleports behind him but is leaned against the wall staring at him menacingly.*

“Seems like you’re a bit distracted, hmm? Perhaps you’re just.. imagining things?”

*Zestial, beforehand, had been attempting to figure out if the vision of Carmilla in front of him was real or not. She disappeared when he heard the voice behind him, though. He wasn't sure if this was a hallucination too...*

"What doth thy need from my presence, hm? For thine may only be in my mind, for all I know."

“Well that’s something you’re gonna have to take a guess. If you can’t figure it out, then are you really that wise overlord you believed you were because of your ‘experience’? I mean come on, surely you can tell the difference, right?”

*Though there was some truth in her words, she was definitely making it harder to decide whether or not she was real or not. It felt real at first, but then her presence felt almost hazy like if it was an actual hallucination rather than a strategic one. Whatever this thing was, it was very strategic on making him feel inferior and at any given chance. Perhaps this was something she practiced before their encounter.*

"Well, during previous times I hath encountered a hallucinated version of thine, they've all seemed to attempt to convince me they were real. So I shall take a shot in the dark as some say, and guess that thou art real this time."

*She notices she wasn’t getting any form of reaction out of him and is a bit irritated but keeps her playful facade. She then made it so she seemed real now and her presence felt a bit.. overwhelming in demonic energy to say the least, but since he felt it was stronger before it’s almost like she’s holding back.*

“Well I’m happy to inform you that you are right! Bravo! You seemed.. very confident in that considering how confused you seemed just a second ago. Did I perhaps strike a nerve?”

*Zestial's right two eyes noticeably twitched at everything she had just said, along with the slight shock of her presence. Despite him keeping a straight face, he too was irritated at the situation at hand.*

"A nerve? No. Thee may think thine words have effects, and mayhaps they do, but not enough. For confidence, I suppose I hath just taken the context and used it to my advantage. Now what is needed from me? I assume thee hath a reason for the visit."

“No need to get so hasty, in fact..”

*she teleports behind him while floating (due to her usual height) and crawls her fingers up his shoulders and leans over his shoulder to look at him. (alastor style in case you’re wondering)*

“You should be expecting more unexpected visits from me whether that puts you at ease or not.”

*she then grips on his right shoulder tightly knowing it would cause discomfort from the crystal shard being stuck in it.*

“And judging by the tension I feel from you, you seem.. you seem genuinely threatened. Good.. I hope you do understand what you may go through, I did try and warn you…”

*she says as her eyes get hyper-realistic and her teeth sharpen like a fucking anglerfish as her head slightly tilts.*

*Zestial moved away from her, as her touch irritated his shoulder. He was now standing directly in front of her.*

"Thy seem to have gotten quite comfortable around me to do such things as this. Unless the concept of 'personal space' means none to a being like thineself."

"Thine hath always been a threat... I am not as dimwitted as thee may think, as I am perfectly sure of thine power, for thine seems to quite enjoy to show off with thy garrulous demeanor..."

*He's attempting to annoy her enough to make her leave him alone for the time being, even though there's a chance his plan might go wrong.*

*She then summons her scythe and wraps it behind his neck so he doesn’t try and back away.*

“I simply enjoy playing with my unfortunate victims, as much as you try to believe you’re not. And you know what, I do like being a show-off. But be careful what you mention, you might give me too many ideas. After all, I don’t want to go too far just yet, but perhaps I can get a bit.. too excited. Oh well.”

*He attempts to ignore the literal scythe wrapped around his neck, as concerning as it may be.*

"I wonder, am I the only 'unfortunate victim'? Surely thy must get bored with me eventually. Wouldn't it be quite repetitive to play with the 'unfortunate'? For thee must need a task larger than I, if I am as small as thy say."

"How thine hath gotten more cocky than when we hath met, I am unsure of. For I do not even know your name."

“My name? Well to put it simply, I’ve been questioning my name for I never really had a ‘real name’. But other beings call me… Grim of Chaos. Probably doesn’t ring a bell which is fine, but let’s just say I was created to be a demigod of universal creation and warping before I.. developed an unusual hunger for demonic energy which led me astray from my original purpose and wanted to expand on it. Buuuut that’s a story for another time.”

“I’ll admit, I wasn’t made to be a ‘perfect’ creator of worlds and dimensions, you can probably guess why, but I’ll leave that to you to figure it out yourself. But I’ll leave you with a hint, you’re the start I need for something that’s none of your concern, but you’ll be entertaining nonetheless.”

“And no, you aren’t the first, but you won’t be the last. But I won’t give you up that easily, I can’t let the opportunity of fun go to waste. And if I lose interest.. well.. I either eat you, or toss you aside leaving you broken, and don’t think I’ll get bored to where I don’t break you, especially for someone like you. The only reason you wouldn’t be broken is if some miracle happened, but if I get the chance to, I will be coming back for you, mark my words…”

*She says as she leans towards him with her sadistic unnerving smile and eyes, and has the scythe right against the back of his neck but not enough to cause a scratch.*

*He reaches his hand back and pushes the scythe away from his neck and back towards her.*

"Grim of Chaos? A fitting title. Thou seem to appreciate and indulge in chaos quite often, from what thou have told me."

"But for thy name... Why not create one thyself? For thou hath had many years to ponder it."

*He says, hoping to maybe distract her.*

*Grim stares at Zestial and the scythe in surprise by the way he pushed the away thinking he would just stand there so he could avoid trouble, but notices he’s trying to distract her and is a bit annoyed but intrigued and decides to play along.*

“I’ve tried coming up with names, none of them really stick with me. I do like the name Grim for short, but it’s hard coming up with names that not only sound good but also have a matching meaning to me. I would like to think of a cool demonic name that isn’t already taken, but for now just call me Grim.”

*Grim then decides to back away to give him space and see how he reacts knowing she isn’t in his space or threatening him, it’s like she’s waiting for him to make a move.*

“Is there anything else you’d like to know?”

*She says with with a knowingly stare.*

*Zestial stands quietly for a moment, just watching as she backs away and stands at a good distance... He knew she was doing it for a reason, but for what, he didn't know. He was quite skeptical of her asking if he wanted to know anything, so instead of asking about the crystal, he remained quiet.*

"No, nothing at our current moment in time..."

*He kept standing awkwardly for a beat, before continuing.*

"Now, if there is nothing thou are requesting of me, then I shall be on my way..."

*He slightly backs away, waiting to see if she'll stop him.*

*Suddenly red crystals started forming around one of his feet up to below his knee to keep him stuck so he doesn’t just walk away.*

“I can tell you have questions, I insist you ask them, I’m willing to answer. :>”

*Grim says so casually as if she didn’t just trap his leg lol.*

*He's now even more skeptical, but he knows she won't let him leave until he says something.*

"Well, I suppose thou could tell me how to remove this irritable crystal thou hath shot into my shoulder."

“If you want to do it yourself, you’d have to cut off your arm and shoulder, though I don’t know if you are able to grow it back. Otherwise, I would have to remove it so I could fix your shoulder too. But you could try removing it yourself before it gets any worse..”

*She says that last part tauntingly. The crystal in his shoulder started to glow a bit and the headache he had started to come back, that’s not a good sign. Grim then grins at the sight and watches his reaction.*

*He seems disappointed, but her answer was pretty much what he expected at this point. His eye unwillingly twitches as his headache progressively starts to get worse.*

"I see... Now I will ask again, what was the purpose of this visit? Entertainment, I am guessing."

*He tries to pull at the crystals around his feet as he speaks, but they aren't budging.*

“Well.. yes. Let’s just say there was a change of plans.”

*She says as her face started showing like the monstrous demigod face he saw from their earlier interaction in his current hallucination and she then just floats there with that creepy face leaning towards him and see how he responds to it. The crystal on his foot the lets him go and disappears, but that doesn’t mean she’s letting him go now.*

*He instinctively takes a step back now that his feet are free. He steals a glace backwards for a moment, debating to run or not, but he stands his ground and looks right back at her. Because for one, he isn't sure if this is real, and two, if she even would let him leave.*

"Art thou done with these frivolous party tricks?"

“You know what? I am.”

*Then out of absolutely nowhere, there was big increase in the headache progressively getting worse, and now the roots from the shard started tightened causing more pain as it glowed. Grim watches the pain start to really kick in with a sadistic, amused smile as she stared down at him.*

“I think it’s time to turn things up a notch.”

*Zestial stumbles backwards and catches himself on his leg. He sneers at Grim. Although he's hurting an unreasonable amount, he makes the (probably not so smart) decision to threaten her back.*

*He makes a bit of green magic, and forces it forward to knock her back like a large gust of wind, not to hurt her, but to warn her.*

"Thou shall cease this nonsense at once, or shall brawl with me now..."

*Grim then.. just stares at him idly with a straight face without her smile. A little too idly to be a normal pause. She then tilts her head before her sadistic smile comes back but with an unnsettling and almost brightened look in her eyes. Oh fuck…*

*The pain in his shoulder and head started to slow down but it hurt like hell. However, now Grim is nowhere to be found as if it was just in his head. And all of the sudden, dimensional rifts started to rip open around like if this place was coming apart. But it had to be fake, right? It’s too early for this place to be coming apart! At the windows, there would be rifts opening outside and screaming. Was this really real?! What is happening?!*

*Zestial frantically looked around for Grim. Where had she gone? Why? Was this her doing? What was happening? He turned around to see that this was happening everywhere. Everywhere he turned...*

*It had to be in his head... or... not? Grim did say she wanted to mess with him before she inevitably destroyed him, so maybe his threat made her start early? But... the hallucinations. And for the wise old man he was, he had no clue what was happening and what to do. So he did all he could.*

"Carmilla?!"

*But of course, he knew she was too far away to hear him. But maybe... just in case... He then told himself to think rationally. This was all happening so fast, too fast. And the crystal still throbbed in his shoulder. So it had to be a hallucination. But how to get out of it, he had no clue...*

“What hath thou done..? Thou had one chance to stop her, and thou let thy fears consume thee..? Hath thou lost thy touch..?”

*His head tells him like he’s thinking, but that couldn’t be his own thoughts. He knew better than to doubt himself like that.*

“Watch as all of hell falls apart, and thou can’t even save Carmilla or thyself from this.. How useless and weak could thy be..?”

*Zestial talks back aloud, despite the his own voice echoing only in his head.*

"No... I am not useless. I gave her a choice. I am above her, maybe not in strength, but in other power."

*He tried to stay rational, Carmilla was fine... He hoped. But now he wasn't sure where Grim was, so it was possi-*

*Wait. This was her doing, right? He would never think these things. This had to be another trick...*

“What if Carmilla is in danger..? Or worse..? If Grim actually destroys this place, what happens next..? Will I pass on too…. or perhaps become a puppet in Grim’s clutches forced to obey and watch everything fall apart over and over again..?”

*The thoughts that wasn’t his continued on. They seemed like his real thoughts, but he knew he wouldn’t think like this, he’s never this paranoid. And to think he might become a puppet if this was truly ending… that’s not a good feeling at all. Wherever Grim is, she’s definitely messing with his head. Was it the crystal, or is she actively controlling these thoughts? Is she inside his head in a literal sense?*

*He places a hand on the crystal, making a final attempt to pull it out, and to no avail...*

"Lies, only told to anger. Grim, thou shall cease this!"

*He knows these thoughts aren't his own...*

*Suddenly a hand rests on the back of his head and his brain was suddenly hyperaware of Grim’s presence inside his head and the roots in his shoulder and the brain could only focus on that before the brain starts going mostly blank so his brain doesn’t stress out too much but he can still feel Grim in his head, but this process has him immobilized, so he can’t do anything about this unfortunately.*

???: “Grim, that’s enough. You’ve had enough fun. Get. Out.”

Grim: “My, my.. I know you aren’t fond of me, Willow, but what’s with that serious attitude? Are you not happy having to chase me around? Did I strike a nerve by simply having a little fun with the mere overlord?”

Willow: “Well our creator wants you back, we can either do this the easy way or the hard way.”

Grim: “Back…? Back in the abyss where I’ve spent months.. hell, maybe years contained…?

Willow: “Well yeah, you’re taking this whole thing too far, not specifically on him, but so many universes you’ve affected. It’s your punishment.”

Grim: “Is that what you think? If it was punishment I wouldn’t have been so tempted to break everything around me! I was given a simulation, all to fulfill my desires, a place where I could stay sane while isolated from the real people. But that wasn’t enough! It only made me hungry for the real thing.. I was practically starving in there! It felt like I was going crazy…! And now… you have no idea how much I want to tear everyone’s sanity apart and watch everything go to flames and get distorted into my own image… Zestial here is just lucky I’m holding back so the fun can last.. perhaps I can make the fun with him last for eternity if I do it right…”

*Grim says that last part as Zestial can feel a nonexistent hand petting his head in a taunting demeaning way. Willow on the other hand was speechless, a mix of realization, disgust, and anger fueled through them.*

*Zestial listened to the conversation as well as he could. Who was this "Willow"? And Grim's "creator" (whoever that may be) wants her back? It seemed there was a lot more to the story than what Grim had told him...*

*While not being able to do anything, he still makes it apparent with his expression that he dislikes the pats.*

Grim: “Got nothing to say?”

Willow: “…Can we just talk about this later? And can you please leave Zestial alone? I know this isn’t your first victim, but just— that’s enough…”

Grim: “You’re… being a lot more soft than you usually are… almost like once before… How… nauseating… Well.. I guess I can leave him alone for now, but I still have a lot planned for him. I will be back, even if I end up finding another source of entertainment or if I just won’t be back for a while for some reason.”

*Zestial then sees a hallucination of the monstrous demigod form he saw when they first met hunching over him and is right in front of his face while holding a tight grip on his chin making him look up at her as if she were there in that form and staring at him with a disturbing gaze.*

Grim: “After all.. I don’t want my favorites to go to waste… And I will be around long enough to eventually return… Mark.. My.. Words…”

*Grim then disappears from in front of him and out of his head, and his headache and hallucinations started to subside. Willow then lets out a sigh of relief and carefully removes her hand off his head and he can move again.*

Willow: … I’m sorry about her… she’s just like that…

*Zestial turns to look at Willow curiously.*

"I hath dealt with her enough to know that... I assume thou know Grim well? To be able to make her retreat is a feat I have not yet achieved..."

“She obviously wouldn’t listen to you or any of her prey. I however… well… that’s a complicated personal story I won’t get into now. Besides, that’s not really relevant to this whole thing besides the fact I’m involved. I guess to put it simply, we were… ‘equals’ in a way. At least a while ago before she started her ‘demonic hunt’.”

“But you.. I..”

*She seemed to be bit shaky.. unnerved even. But then tries to calm down and hide the shaking.*

“Let me fix that real quick for you.”

*They then put a hand out towards him and he blacks out for a couple minutes standing in place before gaining back consciousness and the crystals was removed and his shoulder was fixed like nothing ever happened.*

“There you go! Does that feel better?”

*He notices their shaking before it stops, and he's confused as to why it's happening, but he thinks it's most likely because of Grim... maybe? After his shoulder is fixed, he feels immense relief from the pain. He looks from Willow to his shoulder, then back at Willow.*

"Indeed... I thank thee for this.*

*He bows at the waist in front of her, then rises again.*

"I assume thou art called Willow? From what I hath heard of thy conversation.

“You’re welcome. And yes, that is me, Willow, at your service.” *she says with a bow before rising back up*

*She then looks around the room for a bit before looking back at him.*

“Now, I don’t mean to come across as suspicious or nosy, but have you seen an Alastor staff that’s broken and was dropped somewhere?”

*He blinks once then narrows his eyes. He did indeed see it, but did he want to tell her that? He decided it couldn't do much harm...*

"I did indeed see it... Might thou know why 'twas around? For the Alastor of this world is the same as ever before..."

“You are correct, it is not related to this world’s Alastor. Though while Grim did… some psychological and somewhat physical torment to the other Alastor, it just might’ve slipped her mind when traversing other dimensions (for some reason f*cking reason, I don’t know). You may gone through some of it, though.. Alastor’s had to deal with her longer than you have, so for your sanity I’ll just leave that directly unsaid. But then again… since Grim is starting to step out of her comfort zone and test out the more ‘wise and intelligent’ ones, and the ways she’s so certain she’ll come back to you…”

“Word of warning: Grim can make it really difficult for anyone to tell what is real or not or if her presence is nearby, she doesn’t even need a crystal stuck in your shoulder or anywhere to do it, but I think she only did it to cause you more physical pain than actually want you to feel like you’re losing your mind. So if anything feels off, do not be afraid to confront that anomaly.”

"I shall trust and heed thy warning, for I understand her power is beyond my own. As for Alastor, I shall hope he is still alive? I am unsure of where Grim's plans shall take me, for her chaotic soul is one which I cannot grasp."

“He is, actually! I saved him when he was left alone and I wanted to return his staff, and I happened to notice Grim was tormenting you instead. So as long as he’s alive and is back in better shape and his staff gets fixed, his dimension be safe and—…”

*Willow says as they pull up a magic vision of supposedly the other Alastor’s dimension, but it was just empty space and her expression widens in disbelief, concern, and slight horror trying to keep it together. She makes the vision show different perspectives of it, but nothing was showing. They then put the perspective on Alastor and it shows his body ripped to shreds in a crockpot like pulled pork and the bones were set to the side, and Grim looks through the vision and waves with a menacing smile before making a “come to me” signal with one hand and the other holds Alastor’s staff that was supposed to be in Zestial’s dimension. Willow put the vision away and they were absolutely horrified but nervously tried to laugh it off while unintentionally shaking and pacing around a little bit while making hand movements and looked like they might lose it.*

“H-haha… Well… I-I knew Grim liked feasting on demons, but I just didn’t realize how.. gruesome she can be about it. And it’s not like he’s the most powerful or most important thing in the dimension, s-she just happens to pick on certain types. T-though I… hoped to at least be able to save someone when I couldn’t save anyone who— oh fuck me… *she says with a nervous chuckle and puts a hand on her head*”

*Zestial has a look of concern that transforms into disbelief, matching Willow's as he looks through the same vision as them. He watched Grim wave, and he saw Alastor's shredded and torn body, knowing that he may just be in a similar position soon.

*He looks back to Willow pacing, the concern coming back to him.*

"At least thou can say thou hath tried thy best, no? For there is no reason thou could have known of Grim's... activities."

*They then stop pacing and take a deep breath before speaking looking like they’re trying to stay patient and hopeful while on the verge of insanity.*

“If this conversation between us doesn’t at least bring some sort of positive impact, I don’t know what to do at this point. That is if she will even try to keep a proper conversation and not just taunting me.. or worse. If that doesn’t work, do I just attempt to kill her? Give her a taste of her own medicine? It’s not like I can ask our creator to remove her. Not to mention how I’m stuck with my restraints meanwhile Grim is actively trying to break off hers.. and it’s slowly but surely working..”

*Zestial stops to think for a moment before speaking.*

"...Would thou have enough power to defeat her? And if not, who is this creator of yours, and why couldn't they help?"

“I need more strength to even try to contain her. And technically… they’re our creator, aka, me and Grim. Said creator monitors over us and other related creations while we help build universes to expand in the multiverse. But technically… Grim wasn’t the main one who would be doing that. I did have a little control over that, but that didn’t last long. You see… Grim is more of an alternate version of the.. do I call it ‘manager’?, of said universes and dimensions. However….. the main version of them has.. kinda.. disappeared for… what is it, almost four years now? And Grim has actively tried to be the main one in charge, there was a bunch of back and forth between other demigods and some were created just to attempt to fill their place, I was one of them, and I was not deemed completely worthy as my own creativity can be a bit.. chaotic, but not in a evil messed up way, just a fun little survival game sort of thing. Yeah… call me a hypocrite for the whole chaos thing if you want, but I at least have my morals. But the creator decided it’s not best to come up with a replacement, so the creator’s been taking care of the whole creation thing, meanwhile the rest of us have to deal with what has already been created and what is on the loose and what is actively trying to kill us all which the creator had to put a limit on because Grim started killing us and now she’s using her ‘sweet sweet time’ to torment and destroy everything else she is legally allowed to touch!”

*Willow lets out a deep sigh and as they finish rambling as the end of it gets faster as they get a little stressed out.*

*Zestial is now a bit suspicious of the fact that Willow has now admitted that she too is chaotic. Though maybe not as much as Grim, it still worried him. But he decided to ignore it for now.*

"Disappeared? I assume thou do not know where they hath gone?... To be created for one purpose and not be able to fill it, I do pity that. It is interesting to myself though that Grim had restrictions with the dimensions... may that fact possibly have something to do with how she now wishes to rid of all constraints?"

[slas3rsw33ts]

“Unfortunately no, at least I don’t know. Between you and me though, I believe my creator’s story of them not knowing where they are is a load of trash, I bet they’re doing something with them and they just don’t want to tell any of us. I’m not saying it might be bad, but I feel like they’re a part of something important. But why they disappeared for so long, I’m not sure… But even if they’re okay, who knows if they’re even aware of Grim and what she’s done.”

“And yes, Grim’s felt like her purpose was wasted away from the chains that hold her back, so she’s been doing whatever she can to fulfill… whatever purpose she’s trying to fill at this point. … I know you have more questions and even some concerns, but I feel like I should stop here and not keep Grim waiting too long. She does try to be patient on her own terms, but she can still be very impatient. And… considering the fact I lost someone I tried to save… I don’t know if I can protect you from her… Even if she doesn’t kill you, I can only imagine the worst of what could happen, and it would still happen out of my control.. I’m sorry… I’m really, really sorry…”

"Thou hath done what thy can for me, and for that I am indebted to you... But I have a single question remaining: what should I do now?"

“… Don’t worry about that… But for what you should do now, that’s a tough decision… I don’t think you’ll be able to get out of this either way… Any help I am able to get from where I come from won’t be enough because they have very little power, they are at least safe from being harmed, but they won’t be able to help in a power sense. I have tried going to find angels who can help because of her being part demon from what she’s consumed, but anytime I go there, she would follow me there… and if I said anything, then… *fails to hold back a shiver*. I don’t know if me asking you to get someone to go up to heaven like someone at the hotel to ask the higher ups if they are able to do anything would somewhat help, and I’m not sure if you know who would be listening in if you know what I mean. But I think what you can do safely is carefully let the other overlords and the Morningstar family know about this situation of Grim possibly coming for them and most likely will blew this universe up when she’s done with it. Though keep in mind demons are what fuel Grim, and I guess fallen angels too from what I’ve heard, so if you guys come up with a plan for self defense, do it as carefully as possible. Does that all make sense? 😓”

I mean, if Grim would just blow them all up when she's done, they're just going to die anyway... But for now, he knows all he can do is listen to Willow and believe what she says. He draws in a breath before talking.*

"Indeed. I shall inform the other overlords, as well as the Morningstars. Mayhaps the princess would be able to contact and angel, for she hath in the past... Shall I ask her to do so?"

*Silently nods and darts her eyes back and forth making sure no one is listening. And then they summon and hand him a note and puts a finger over her mouth signaling him to not say anything out loud.*

*The note: “If don’t try and find you if Grim starts her destruction, then she’s probably got a hold of me. But I will come up with a plan and find a way to keep you all safe from her if not contain her. Besides, that one Alastor’s death proves I can’t take you with me and keep you safe for long…”*

*They then showed a weak and tired but confident expression with a thumbs up as if trying to suppress their emotions,*

“I should get going now… It was nice making your acquaintance, but I can’t stay long.. You try and get some rest too from after that pain and torment you’ve been through as well.”

*Zestial reads over the note, then looks back up at Willow's thumbs up and nods.*

"Indeed, for I am pleased to have met thee. I hope to see thee again soon."

*Their eyes lighten up at Zestial’s wish to see them again and seemed like on the verge of teary eye of joy, but held it back and opens up the portal and waves.*

“…. I hope to see you again too… hopefully…. Take care, Zestial.”

*They say “hopefully” almost with a hint of dread and.. sadness, like she believes there’s a chance it might not happen but does hope to see him again. They then enter the portal, and the portal disappears like nothing ever happened… And there’s no weird whispers or hallucinations happening now, that’s good, it’s over… for now anyways.*

Other Characters you can legally use for your Mickey Mouse project

Mickey Mouse is in the public domain, as is Minnie Mouse and Peg-leg Pete. There's some caveats to that, and I talk about that more in this other post, but for now, let's talk about other characters who you can also use to fill out the cast.

These characters should all be in the public domain, though some characters still have treademarks. I'll get into how to use them safely as we go. Anyways, let's start.

Other Disney Characters

Disney obvciously doesn't advertise this, but there's actually quite a few Disney originals who've actually been in the public domain for a while.

The Mad Doctor never had it's copyright renewed, and so it's very technically the first Mickey Mouse cartoon to enter the public domain. Keep in mind, the version of Pluto featured in the short isn't in the domain just yet, but the Doctor himself is free to use.

What's funny is that Disney would later use a version of Doctor for Epic Mickey. Obviously don't use that version of the character.

Aside from the Mad Doctor, we also have Oswald and Ortensia

Yeah, as it turns out, Oswald's been in the public domain for quite a while, but he's still trademarked by Disney. Easy recommendation... use the original "fat" design of the character and have him go by Lucky.

But before Oswald, we have the Alice Comedies

Everything about the Alice Comedies is Public Domain for a long time, and the Disney corporation very rarely acknowlege these characters existence. Which is a shame because These shorts were some of the first shorts Walt ever produced, and they have the unique gimmick of featuring a live action girl in an animated world.

Everybody already knows about Oswald, but nobody talks about Oswald and Mickey's older brother from these shorts, Julius the Cat

Like... yeah no, it didn't all start with a mouse. Or a rabbit. It started with a cat.

Foxy and Milton Mouse

Both Foxy (top) and Milton (bottom, pictured with his girlfriend Rita Mouse) were characters created by Warner Brothers and Van Beuren respectively to cash in on Mickey's success, and both characters are also in the public domain.

In fact, all Van Beuren cartoons are apparently in the public domain, and I encourage you to find their cartoons and use them as you please.

Fleischer Characters

Betty Boop is probably in the Public Domain, but there's a few caveats with this. From what I can tell, the name Betty Boop is trademarked, but the character herself isn't. Most of the old Betty Cartoons are free to use, but newer incarnations, including the versions used in 1985's The Romance of Betty Boop and 1989's The Betty Boop Movie Mystery are still very much under copyright.

To avoid any legal trouble, I have two big recommendations. Although everybody remembers Betty as having Black hair, in one of the few early instances of Betty being shown in color, she's actually depicted as Redhead.

This is Betty Boop in 1934's Poor Cinderella, and her hair color is pretty clearly red.

The other option is to just make her black.

Though there's been some debate as to whether Betty Boop was intentionally modeled after Esther Lee Jones or not, there's still no denying the influence of Jazz on the character. Betty Boop is a Jazz singer and is often depicted dancing to Cab Calloway. Hell, the Betty Boop musical features Jasmine Amy Rogers as the titular character.

Betty Boop aside, there's an entire world of defunct Betty Boop characters who are definately public domain, including Bimbo and Koko the Clown.

Next year, Popeye's also gonna enter the Domain. So keep an eye out for him too.

Anyways, these are my picks, but obviously this list isn't meant to be comprehensive. There's a ton of old cartoon characters out there who can be freely reinterpreted into newer works. Feel free to add your own favorite public domain cartoon to the list.

I made this comic around the time I started developing characters for FLY. It came from a time I wore a pink shirt in 5th grade and my peer told me I wasn’t supposed to be “pretty”

Through the overwhelming love I’ve received there were a few notions that I noticed in all the noise. One especially concerning is this idea that boys should not be portrayed in ways that have anything to do with femininity. But I believe there is a world where boys can be loved for all the colors, be soft, be strong, be bold. And know that the things the love never make them any less of a man. I made fly for the black boy in me that was afraid to where pink. I want that kid to soar.

This has been a long time coming...

To say I related to Caine and his struggles to connect with humans is an understatement.

Every nickname he would give the cast, the goofball nature, abstract ideas, the circus aesthetic, every desperate attempt at attention and validation, the intrusive thoughts of not being good enough, topped with abandonment issues, and even his crashout felt all too real to me as someone who's been through it all. Episode 9, IMHO, was a near-perfect conclusion to his arc of understanding these humans. I cried so hard when he came back, took responsibility, and retraced his steps to see why he was infatuated with humanity in the first place.

Thank you, Caine, for showing me the best and worst parts of myself, for showing me that it's possible not to let your worst self take over and genuinely mend relationships, and for being more human than you could ever imagine.

The end of Pride Month update

As Pride Month comes to a close, I want to thank everyone in the queer community for supporting my edits this month. Many of the characters I covered have dedicated followings of people who feel seen through these characters.

The best and arguably scariest part is that I only covered the tip of the iceberg; there are so many Iconic queer characters out there from a large variety of shows, games, and movies, regardless of whether they're popular headcanons or canon representation. I wish to cover more queer characters for Pride Month and beyond, and I can't wait for you guys to check them out!

I know the queer community is going through a lot rn with payment processors and certain people wanting to destroy queer lives for a toxic status quo, but I know you guys are strong and will continue to fight, spread love to others, and expand the definition of love. While I may just be an ally with she/they pronouns, I want to help you guys spread that love through these pride edits. I'll be making queer edits throughout the year as well, to tease an upcoming one, it's gonna cover the most iconic gay ice skating duo to ever live.

This month is also absolutely wild for me. I learned the hard way about the risks and rewards of daily uploads, how moots can be busy sometimes, and how the cultures of Tumblr and Bluesky are very different, with the only overlaps being Birdo, Mouse PI, and certain accounts that use both sites. But this month was very rewarding because of all the new friends I got to meet, shows coming to bittersweet endings, updates to some of my special interests and hyperfixations, etc.

I am actually astonished by how much this channel has grown since January of this year. I try not to let numbers get to my head, but by God, y'all's support means so much to me.

I want to thank everyone who supported the channel and the page, and give special shout-outs to the queer community and some of my moots that push me to keep making edits.

I got so many edits planned for the rest of the year, and I can't wait for you all to watch them. ranging from characters, games, movies, and shows that are niche, well-loved, and even the hated stuff that I ended up liking. Through these edits, I also realized that so many people like so many different things regardless of reviews, scores, and community outlook. It made me feel less alone in liking certain media despite the hatred it faces online. That just means something deep in my core for me.

Before I go, I want to thank everyone for keeping up with this lil editing hobby blog, and I can't wait to see you all come next month and beyond.

As for scheduling, I'm going back to uploading every other day cuz daily uploads burned me out a lil bit, ngl. That schedule will be frequent enough where, ya know, I'm not dead, but it still gives me time to cover what I want to.

“Seems like you’re a bit distracted, hmm? Perhaps you’re just.. imagining things?”

*Zestial, beforehand, had been attempting to figure out if the vision of Carmilla in front of him was real or not. She disappeared when he heard the voice behind him, though. He wasn't sure if this was a hallucination too...*

"What doth thy need from my presence, hm? For thine may only be in my mind, for all I know."

“Well that’s something you’re gonna have to take a guess. If you can’t figure it out, then are you really that wise overlord you believed you were because of your ‘experience’? I mean come on, surely you can tell the difference, right?”

*Though there was some truth in her words, she was definitely making it harder to decide whether or not she was real or not. It felt real at first, but then her presence felt almost hazy like if it was an actual hallucination rather than a strategic one. Whatever this thing was, it was very strategic on making him feel inferior and at any given chance. Perhaps this was something she practiced before their encounter.*

"Well, during previous times I hath encountered a hallucinated version of thine, they've all seemed to attempt to convince me they were real. So I shall take a shot in the dark as some say, and guess that thou art real this time."

*She notices she wasn’t getting any form of reaction out of him and is a bit irritated but keeps her playful facade. She then made it so she seemed real now and her presence felt a bit.. overwhelming in demonic energy to say the least, but since he felt it was stronger before it’s almost like she’s holding back.*

“Well I’m happy to inform you that you are right! Bravo! You seemed.. very confident in that considering how confused you seemed just a second ago. Did I perhaps strike a nerve?”

*Zestial's right two eyes noticeably twitched at everything she had just said, along with the slight shock of her presence. Despite him keeping a straight face, he too was irritated at the situation at hand.*

"A nerve? No. Thee may think thine words have effects, and mayhaps they do, but not enough. For confidence, I suppose I hath just taken the context and used it to my advantage. Now what is needed from me? I assume thee hath a reason for the visit."

“No need to get so hasty, in fact..”

*she teleports behind him while floating (due to her usual height) and crawls her fingers up his shoulders and leans over his shoulder to look at him. (alastor style in case you’re wondering)*

“You should be expecting more unexpected visits from me whether that puts you at ease or not.”

*she then grips on his right shoulder tightly knowing it would cause discomfort from the crystal shard being stuck in it.*

“And judging by the tension I feel from you, you seem.. you seem genuinely threatened. Good.. I hope you do understand what you may go through, I did try and warn you…”

*she says as her eyes get hyper-realistic and her teeth sharpen like a fucking anglerfish as her head slightly tilts.*

*Zestial moved away from her, as her touch irritated his shoulder. He was now standing directly in front of her.*

"Thy seem to have gotten quite comfortable around me to do such things as this. Unless the concept of 'personal space' means none to a being like thineself."

"Thine hath always been a threat... I am not as dimwitted as thee may think, as I am perfectly sure of thine power, for thine seems to quite enjoy to show off with thy garrulous demeanor..."

*He's attempting to annoy her enough to make her leave him alone for the time being, even though there's a chance his plan might go wrong.*

*She then summons her scythe and wraps it behind his neck so he doesn’t try and back away.*

“I simply enjoy playing with my unfortunate victims, as much as you try to believe you’re not. And you know what, I do like being a show-off. But be careful what you mention, you might give me too many ideas. After all, I don’t want to go too far just yet, but perhaps I can get a bit.. too excited. Oh well.”

*He attempts to ignore the literal scythe wrapped around his neck, as concerning as it may be.*

"I wonder, am I the only 'unfortunate victim'? Surely thy must get bored with me eventually. Wouldn't it be quite repetitive to play with the 'unfortunate'? For thee must need a task larger than I, if I am as small as thy say."

"How thine hath gotten more cocky than when we hath met, I am unsure of. For I do not even know your name."

“My name? Well to put it simply, I’ve been questioning my name for I never really had a ‘real name’. But other beings call me… Grim of Chaos. Probably doesn’t ring a bell which is fine, but let’s just say I was created to be a demigod of universal creation and warping before I.. developed an unusual hunger for demonic energy which led me astray from my original purpose and wanted to expand on it. Buuuut that’s a story for another time.”

“I’ll admit, I wasn’t made to be a ‘perfect’ creator of worlds and dimensions, you can probably guess why, but I’ll leave that to you to figure it out yourself. But I’ll leave you with a hint, you’re the start I need for something that’s none of your concern, but you’ll be entertaining nonetheless.”

“And no, you aren’t the first, but you won’t be the last. But I won’t give you up that easily, I can’t let the opportunity of fun go to waste. And if I lose interest.. well.. I either eat you, or toss you aside leaving you broken, and don’t think I’ll get bored to where I don’t break you, especially for someone like you. The only reason you wouldn’t be broken is if some miracle happened, but if I get the chance to, I will be coming back for you, mark my words…”

*She says as she leans towards him with her sadistic unnerving smile and eyes, and has the scythe right against the back of his neck but not enough to cause a scratch.*

*He reaches his hand back and pushes the scythe away from his neck and back towards her.*

"Grim of Chaos? A fitting title. Thou seem to appreciate and indulge in chaos quite often, from what thou have told me."

"But for thy name... Why not create one thyself? For thou hath had many years to ponder it."

*He says, hoping to maybe distract her.*

*Grim stares at Zestial and the scythe in surprise by the way he pushed the away thinking he would just stand there so he could avoid trouble, but notices he’s trying to distract her and is a bit annoyed but intrigued and decides to play along.*

“I’ve tried coming up with names, none of them really stick with me. I do like the name Grim for short, but it’s hard coming up with names that not only sound good but also have a matching meaning to me. I would like to think of a cool demonic name that isn’t already taken, but for now just call me Grim.”

*Grim then decides to back away to give him space and see how he reacts knowing she isn’t in his space or threatening him, it’s like she’s waiting for him to make a move.*

“Is there anything else you’d like to know?”

*She says with with a knowingly stare.*

*Zestial stands quietly for a moment, just watching as she backs away and stands at a good distance... He knew she was doing it for a reason, but for what, he didn't know. He was quite skeptical of her asking if he wanted to know anything, so instead of asking about the crystal, he remained quiet.*

"No, nothing at our current moment in time..."

*He kept standing awkwardly for a beat, before continuing.*

"Now, if there is nothing thou are requesting of me, then I shall be on my way..."

*He slightly backs away, waiting to see if she'll stop him.*

*Suddenly red crystals started forming around one of his feet up to below his knee to keep him stuck so he doesn’t just walk away.*

“I can tell you have questions, I insist you ask them, I’m willing to answer. :>”

*Grim says so casually as if she didn’t just trap his leg lol.*

*He's now even more skeptical, but he knows she won't let him leave until he says something.*

"Well, I suppose thou could tell me how to remove this irritable crystal thou hath shot into my shoulder."

“If you want to do it yourself, you’d have to cut off your arm and shoulder, though I don’t know if you are able to grow it back. Otherwise, I would have to remove it so I could fix your shoulder too. But you could try removing it yourself before it gets any worse..”

*She says that last part tauntingly. The crystal in his shoulder started to glow a bit and the headache he had started to come back, that’s not a good sign. Grim then grins at the sight and watches his reaction.*

*He seems disappointed, but her answer was pretty much what he expected at this point. His eye unwillingly twitches as his headache progressively starts to get worse.*

"I see... Now I will ask again, what was the purpose of this visit? Entertainment, I am guessing."

*He tries to pull at the crystals around his feet as he speaks, but they aren't budging.*

“Well.. yes. Let’s just say there was a change of plans.”

*She says as her face started showing like the monstrous demigod face he saw from their earlier interaction in his current hallucination and she then just floats there with that creepy face leaning towards him and see how he responds to it. The crystal on his foot the lets him go and disappears, but that doesn’t mean she’s letting him go now.*

*He instinctively takes a step back now that his feet are free. He steals a glace backwards for a moment, debating to run or not, but he stands his ground and looks right back at her. Because for one, he isn't sure if this is real, and two, if she even would let him leave.*

"Art thou done with these frivolous party tricks?"

“You know what? I am.”

*Then out of absolutely nowhere, there was big increase in the headache progressively getting worse, and now the roots from the shard started tightened causing more pain as it glowed. Grim watches the pain start to really kick in with a sadistic, amused smile as she stared down at him.*

“I think it’s time to turn things up a notch.”

*Zestial stumbles backwards and catches himself on his leg. He sneers at Grim. Although he's hurting an unreasonable amount, he makes the (probably not so smart) decision to threaten her back.*

*He makes a bit of green magic, and forces it forward to knock her back like a large gust of wind, not to hurt her, but to warn her.*

"Thou shall cease this nonsense at once, or shall brawl with me now..."

[slas3rsw33ts]

*Grim then.. just stares at him idly with a straight face without her smile. A little too idly to be a normal pause. She then tilts her head before her sadistic smile comes back but with an unnsettling and almost brightened look in her eyes. Oh fuck…*

*The pain in his shoulder and head started to slow down but it hurt like hell. However, now Grim is nowhere to be found as if it was just in his head. And all of the sudden, dimensional rifts started to rip open around like if this place was coming apart. But it had to be fake, right? It’s too early for this place to be coming apart! At the windows, there would be rifts opening outside and screaming. Was this really real?! What is happening?!*

*Zestial frantically looked around for Grim. Where had she gone? Why? Was this her doing? What was happening? He turned around to see that this was happening everywhere. Everywhere he turned...*

*It had to be in his head... or... not? Grim did say she wanted to mess with him before she inevitably destroyed him, so maybe his threat made her start early? But... the hallucinations. And for the wise old man he was, he had no clue what was happening and what to do. So he did all he could.*

"Carmilla?!"

*But of course, he knew she was too far away to hear him. But maybe... just in case... He then told himself to think rationally. This was all happening so fast, too fast. And the crystal still throbbed in his shoulder. So it had to be a hallucination. But how to get out of it, he had no clue...*

“What hath thou done..? Thou had one chance to stop her, and thou let thy fears consume thee..? Hath thou lost thy touch..?”

*His head tells him like he’s thinking, but that couldn’t be his own thoughts. He knew better than to doubt himself like that.*

“Watch as all of hell falls apart, and thou can’t even save Carmilla or thyself from this.. How useless and weak could thy be..?”

*Zestial talks back aloud, despite the his own voice echoing only in his head.*

"No... I am not useless. I gave her a choice. I am above her, maybe not in strength, but in other power."

*He tried to stay rational, Carmilla was fine... He hoped. But now he wasn't sure where Grim was, so it was possi-*

*Wait. This was her doing, right? He would never think these things. This had to be another trick...*

“What if Carmilla is in danger..? Or worse..? If Grim actually destroys this place, what happens next..? Will I pass on too…. or perhaps become a puppet in Grim’s clutches forced to obey and watch everything fall apart over and over again..?”

*The thoughts that wasn’t his continued on. They seemed like his real thoughts, but he knew he wouldn’t think like this, he’s never this paranoid. And to think he might become a puppet if this was truly ending… that’s not a good feeling at all. Wherever Grim is, she’s definitely messing with his head. Was it the crystal, or is she actively controlling these thoughts? Is she inside his head in a literal sense?*

*He places a hand on the crystal, making a final attempt to pull it out, and to no avail...*

"Lies, only told to anger. Grim, thou shall cease this!"

*He knows these thoughts aren't his own...*

*Suddenly a hand rests on the back of his head and his brain was suddenly hyperaware of Grim’s presence inside his head and the roots in his shoulder and the brain could only focus on that before the brain starts going mostly blank so his brain doesn’t stress out too much but he can still feel Grim in his head, but this process has him immobilized, so he can’t do anything about this unfortunately.*

???: “Grim, that’s enough. You’ve had enough fun. Get. Out.”

Grim: “My, my.. I know you aren’t fond of me, Willow, but what’s with that serious attitude? Are you not happy having to chase me around? Did I strike a nerve by simply having a little fun with the mere overlord?”

Willow: “Well our creator wants you back, we can either do this the easy way or the hard way.”

Grim: “Back…? Back in the abyss where I’ve spent months.. hell, maybe years contained…?

Willow: “Well yeah, you’re taking this whole thing too far, not specifically on him, but so many universes you’ve affected. It’s your punishment.”

Grim: “Is that what you think? If it was punishment I wouldn’t have been so tempted to break everything around me! I was given a simulation, all to fulfill my desires, a place where I could stay sane while isolated from the real people. But that wasn’t enough! It only made me hungry for the real thing.. I was practically starving in there! It felt like I was going crazy…! And now… you have no idea how much I want to tear everyone’s sanity apart and watch everything go to flames and get distorted into my own image… Zestial here is just lucky I’m holding back so the fun can last.. perhaps I can make the fun with him last for eternity if I do it right…”

*Grim says that last part as Zestial can feel a nonexistent hand petting his head in a taunting demeaning way. Willow on the other hand was speechless, a mix of realization, disgust, and anger fueled through them.*

*Zestial listened to the conversation as well as he could. Who was this "Willow"? And Grim's "creator" (whoever that may be) wants her back? It seemed there was a lot more to the story than what Grim had told him...*

*While not being able to do anything, he still makes it apparent with his expression that he dislikes the pats.*

Grim: “Got nothing to say?”

Willow: “…Can we just talk about this later? And can you please leave Zestial alone? I know this isn’t your first victim, but just— that’s enough…”

Grim: “You’re… being a lot more soft than you usually are… almost like once before… How… nauseating… Well.. I guess I can leave him alone for now, but I still have a lot planned for him. I will be back, even if I end up finding another source of entertainment or if I just won’t be back for a while for some reason.”

*Zestial then sees a hallucination of the monstrous demigod form he saw when they first met hunching over him and is right in front of his face while holding a tight grip on his chin making him look up at her as if she were there in that form and staring at him with a disturbing gaze.*

Grim: “After all.. I don’t want my favorites to go to waste… And I will be around long enough to eventually return… Mark.. My.. Words…”

*Grim then disappears from in front of him and out of his head, and his headache and hallucinations started to subside. Willow then lets out a sigh of relief and carefully removes her hand off his head and he can move again.*

Willow: … I’m sorry about her… she’s just like that…

*Zestial turns to look at Willow curiously.*

"I hath dealt with her enough to know that... I assume thou know Grim well? To be able to make her retreat is a feat I have not yet achieved..."

“She obviously wouldn’t listen to you or any of her prey. I however… well… that’s a complicated personal story I won’t get into now. Besides, that’s not really relevant to this whole thing besides the fact I’m involved. I guess to put it simply, we were… ‘equals’ in a way. At least a while ago before she started her ‘demonic hunt’.”

“But you.. I..”

*She seemed to be bit shaky.. unnerved even. But then tries to calm down and hide the shaking.*

“Let me fix that real quick for you.”

*They then put a hand out towards him and he blacks out for a couple minutes standing in place before gaining back consciousness and the crystals was removed and his shoulder was fixed like nothing ever happened.*

“There you go! Does that feel better?”

*He notices their shaking before it stops, and he's confused as to why it's happening, but he thinks it's most likely because of Grim... maybe? After his shoulder is fixed, he feels immense relief from the pain. He looks from Willow to his shoulder, then back at Willow.*

"Indeed... I thank thee for this.*

*He bows at the waist in front of her, then rises again.*

"I assume thou art called Willow? From what I hath heard of thy conversation.

“You’re welcome. And yes, that is me, Willow, at your service.” *she says with a bow before rising back up*

*She then looks around the room for a bit before looking back at him.*

“Now, I don’t mean to come across as suspicious or nosy, but have you seen an Alastor staff that’s broken and was dropped somewhere?”

*He blinks once then narrows his eyes. He did indeed see it, but did he want to tell her that? He decided it couldn't do much harm...*

"I did indeed see it... Might thou know why 'twas around? For the Alastor of this world is the same as ever before..."

“You are correct, it is not related to this world’s Alastor. Though while Grim did… some psychological and somewhat physical torment to the other Alastor, it just might’ve slipped her mind when traversing other dimensions (for some reason f*cking reason, I don’t know). You may gone through some of it, though.. Alastor’s had to deal with her longer than you have, so for your sanity I’ll just leave that directly unsaid. But then again… since Grim is starting to step out of her comfort zone and test out the more ‘wise and intelligent’ ones, and the ways she’s so certain she’ll come back to you…”

“Word of warning: Grim can make it really difficult for anyone to tell what is real or not or if her presence is nearby, she doesn’t even need a crystal stuck in your shoulder or anywhere to do it, but I think she only did it to cause you more physical pain than actually want you to feel like you’re losing your mind. So if anything feels off, do not be afraid to confront that anomaly.”

"I shall trust and heed thy warning, for I understand her power is beyond my own. As for Alastor, I shall hope he is still alive? I am unsure of where Grim's plans shall take me, for her chaotic soul is one which I cannot grasp."

“He is, actually! I saved him when he was left alone and I wanted to return his staff, and I happened to notice Grim was tormenting you instead. So as long as he’s alive and is back in better shape and his staff gets fixed, his dimension be safe and—…”

*Willow says as they pull up a magic vision of supposedly the other Alastor’s dimension, but it was just empty space and her expression widens in disbelief, concern, and slight horror trying to keep it together. She makes the vision show different perspectives of it, but nothing was showing. They then put the perspective on Alastor and it shows his body ripped to shreds in a crockpot like pulled pork and the bones were set to the side, and Grim looks through the vision and waves with a menacing smile before making a “come to me” signal with one hand and the other holds Alastor’s staff that was supposed to be in Zestial’s dimension. Willow put the vision away and they were absolutely horrified but nervously tried to laugh it off while unintentionally shaking and pacing around a little bit while making hand movements and looked like they might lose it.*

“H-haha… Well… I-I knew Grim liked feasting on demons, but I just didn’t realize how.. gruesome she can be about it. And it’s not like he’s the most powerful or most important thing in the dimension, s-she just happens to pick on certain types. T-though I… hoped to at least be able to save someone when I couldn’t save anyone who— oh fuck me… *she says with a nervous chuckle and puts a hand on her head*”

*Zestial has a look of concern that transforms into disbelief, matching Willow's as he looks through the same vision as them. He watched Grim wave, and he saw Alastor's shredded and torn body, knowing that he may just be in a similar position soon.

*He looks back to Willow pacing, the concern coming back to him.*

"At least thou can say thou hath tried thy best, no? For there is no reason thou could have known of Grim's... activities."

*They then stop pacing and take a deep breath before speaking looking like they’re trying to stay patient and hopeful while on the verge of insanity.*

“If this conversation between us doesn’t at least bring some sort of positive impact, I don’t know what to do at this point. That is if she will even try to keep a proper conversation and not just taunting me.. or worse. If that doesn’t work, do I just attempt to kill her? Give her a taste of her own medicine? It’s not like I can ask our creator to remove her. Not to mention how I’m stuck with my restraints meanwhile Grim is actively trying to break off hers.. and it’s slowly but surely working..”

*Zestial stops to think for a moment before speaking.*

"...Would thou have enough power to defeat her? And if not, who is this creator of yours, and why couldn't they help?"

“I need more strength to even try to contain her. And technically… they’re our creator, aka, me and Grim. Said creator monitors over us and other related creations while we help build universes to expand in the multiverse. But technically… Grim wasn’t the main one who would be doing that. I did have a little control over that, but that didn’t last long. You see… Grim is more of an alternate version of the.. do I call it ‘manager’?, of said universes and dimensions. However….. the main version of them has.. kinda.. disappeared for… what is it, almost four years now? And Grim has actively tried to be the main one in charge, there was a bunch of back and forth between other demigods and some were created just to attempt to fill their place, I was one of them, and I was not deemed completely worthy as my own creativity can be a bit.. chaotic, but not in a evil messed up way, just a fun little survival game sort of thing. Yeah… call me a hypocrite for the whole chaos thing if you want, but I at least have my morals. But the creator decided it’s not best to come up with a replacement, so the creator’s been taking care of the whole creation thing, meanwhile the rest of us have to deal with what has already been created and what is on the loose and what is actively trying to kill us all which the creator had to put a limit on because Grim started killing us and now she’s using her ‘sweet sweet time’ to torment and destroy everything else she is legally allowed to touch!”

*Willow lets out a deep sigh and as they finish rambling as the end of it gets faster as they get a little stressed out.*

*Zestial is now a bit suspicious of the fact that Willow has now admitted that she too is chaotic. Though maybe not as much as Grim, it still worried him. But he decided to ignore it for now.*

"Disappeared? I assume thou do not know where they hath gone?... To be created for one purpose and not be able to fill it, I do pity that. It is interesting to myself though that Grim had restrictions with the dimensions... may that fact possibly have something to do with how she now wishes to rid of all constraints?"

“Unfortunately no, at least I don’t know. Between you and me though, I believe my creator’s story of them not knowing where they are is a load of trash, I bet they’re doing something with them and they just don’t want to tell any of us. I’m not saying it might be bad, but I feel like they’re a part of something important. But why they disappeared for so long, I’m not sure… But even if they’re okay, who knows if they’re even aware of Grim and what she’s done.”

“And yes, Grim’s felt like her purpose was wasted away from the chains that hold her back, so she’s been doing whatever she can to fulfill… whatever purpose she’s trying to fill at this point. … I know you have more questions and even some concerns, but I feel like I should stop here and not keep Grim waiting too long. She does try to be patient on her own terms, but she can still be very impatient. And… considering the fact I lost someone I tried to save… I don’t know if I can protect you from her… Even if she doesn’t kill you, I can only imagine the worst of what could happen, and it would still happen out of my control.. I’m sorry… I’m really, really sorry…”

"Thou hath done what thy can for me, and for that I am indebted to you... But I have a single question remaining: what should I do now?"

“… Don’t worry about that… But for what you should do now, that’s a tough decision… I don’t think you’ll be able to get out of this either way… Any help I am able to get from where I come from won’t be enough because they have very little power, they are at least safe from being harmed, but they won’t be able to help in a power sense. I have tried going to find angels who can help because of her being part demon from what she’s consumed, but anytime I go there, she would follow me there… and if I said anything, then… *fails to hold back a shiver*. I don’t know if me asking you to get someone to go up to heaven like someone at the hotel to ask the higher ups if they are able to do anything would somewhat help, and I’m not sure if you know who would be listening in if you know what I mean. But I think what you can do safely is carefully let the other overlords and the Morningstar family know about this situation of Grim possibly coming for them and most likely will blew this universe up when she’s done with it. Though keep in mind demons are what fuel Grim, and I guess fallen angels too from what I’ve heard, so if you guys come up with a plan for self defense, do it as carefully as possible. Does that all make sense? 😓”

*He stands for a long time, longer than he meant to. So... warn everyone, and just... hope they din't die? I mean, if Grim would just blow them all up when she's done, they're just going to die anyway... But for now, he knows all he can do is listen to Willow and believe what she says. He draws in a breath before talking.*

"Indeed. I shall inform the other overlords, as well as the Morningstars. Mayhaps the princess would be able to contact and angel, for she hath in the past... Shall I ask her to do so?"

*Silently nods and darts her eyes back and forth making sure no one is listening. And then they summon and hand him a note and puts a finger over her mouth signaling him to not say anything out loud.*

*The note: “If don’t try and find you if Grim starts her destruction, then she’s probably got a hold of me. But I will come up with a plan and find a way to keep you all safe from her if not contain her. Besides, that one Alastor’s death proves I can’t take you with me and keep you safe for long…”*

*They then showed a weak and tired but confident expression with a thumbs up as if trying to suppress their emotions,*

“I should get going now… It was nice making your acquaintance, but I can’t stay long.. You try and get some rest too from after that pain and torment you’ve been through as well.”

Despite me being wrong in the guessing the Hazbin Hotel Heaven (+ Baxter) sexualities, I wanna share some updated headcanons/guesses for the non-confirmed characters and my reasonings for them.

- Zestial: Unlabeled or Omnisexual/Omniromantic

Considering the fact that Hazbin Hotel has unlabeled queer characters like Baxter and Emily, it made me wonder if other characters would be unlabeled as well. And if I had to guess which one would be unlabeled, I would assumed Zestial. Otherwise I’ll also go for Omnisexual/Omniromantic (which in case if you didn’t see my one post guessing the character’s sexualities, I said Omnisexual or Omniromantic as a headcanon out of inspiration bc one of my old man OCs is Omnisexual).

- Rosie: Some flavor of romantic and Demisexual or Straight Ally?

For me it feels like it could go either way for Rosie. Either she ends up being some flavor of queer or she’s the supportive straight aunt who has an eye for queer people and just waits for people to figure it out without even telling them ahem Alastor (she’s definitely that way for sure but it’s hard to tell if she’s actually queer or not). 🤣 Plus I’ve seen headcanons of Rosie being Demisexual and I like it a lot! But perhaps when Alastor figures himself out maybe Rosie will spill the tea about hers? 😯☕️

- Carmilla Carmine: Either a Straight Ally (+ Demisexual) or Pansexual?

Again, we don’t know much about the characters to know for sure, but Carmilla could definitely be queer in some shape or form. Who knows for sure? I know I sure don’t. 😆😅

- Maestro: Maybe Bisexual?

I somehow forgot about Maestro so he’s here now. 😅 (Not a set on guess btw)

- Zeezi: Either Pansexual or Bisexual (or maybe unlabeled??)

I feel like it’s one of the two, I just don’t know which one is true! 😭

- Lilith: Straight Ally maybe?

For all I know Lilith could be queer, but even if she isn’t I don’t believe she would be homophobic at all.

Now for my guesses I’m keeping…

- Hatchet: Nonbinary and Pansexual

It’s technically someone else’s guess but Hatchet gives Nonbinary vibes.

- Prick: Gay MLM

“Seems like you’re a bit distracted, hmm? Perhaps you’re just.. imagining things?”

*Zestial, beforehand, had been attempting to figure out if the vision of Carmilla in front of him was real or not. She disappeared when he heard the voice behind him, though. He wasn't sure if this was a hallucination too...*

"What doth thy need from my presence, hm? For thine may only be in my mind, for all I know."

“Well that’s something you’re gonna have to take a guess. If you can’t figure it out, then are you really that wise overlord you believed you were because of your ‘experience’? I mean come on, surely you can tell the difference, right?”

*Though there was some truth in her words, she was definitely making it harder to decide whether or not she was real or not. It felt real at first, but then her presence felt almost hazy like if it was an actual hallucination rather than a strategic one. Whatever this thing was, it was very strategic on making him feel inferior and at any given chance. Perhaps this was something she practiced before their encounter.*

"Well, during previous times I hath encountered a hallucinated version of thine, they've all seemed to attempt to convince me they were real. So I shall take a shot in the dark as some say, and guess that thou art real this time."

She then made it so she seemed real now and her presence felt a bit.. overwhelming in demonic energy to say the least, but since he felt it was stronger before it’s almost like she’s holding back.*

“Well I’m happy to inform you that you are right! Bravo! You seemed.. very confident in that considering how confused you seemed just a second ago. Did I perhaps strike a nerve?”

*Zestial's right two eyes noticeably twitched at everything she had just said, along with the slight shock of her presence. Despite him keeping a straight face, he too was irritated at the situation at hand.*

"A nerve? No. Thee may think thine words have effects, and mayhaps they do, but not enough. For confidence, I suppose I hath just taken the context and used it to my advantage. Now what is needed from me? I assume thee hath a reason for the visit."

“No need to get so hasty, in fact..”

*she teleports behind him while floating (due to her usual height) and crawls her fingers up his shoulders and leans over his shoulder to look at him. (alastor style in case you’re wondering)*

“You should be expecting more unexpected visits from me whether that puts you at ease or not.”

*she then grips on his right shoulder tightly knowing it would cause discomfort from the crystal shard being stuck in it.*

“And judging by the tension I feel from you, you seem.. you seem genuinely threatened. Good.. I hope you do understand what you may go through, I did try and warn you…”

*she says as her eyes get hyper-realistic and her teeth sharpen like a fucking anglerfish as her head slightly tilts.*

*Zestial moved away from her, as her touch irritated his shoulder. He was now standing directly in front of her.*

"Thy seem to have gotten quite comfortable around me to do such things as this. Unless the concept of 'personal space' means none to a being like thineself."

"Thine hath always been a threat... I am not as dimwitted as thee may think, as I am perfectly sure of thine power, for thine seems to quite enjoy to show off with thy garrulous demeanor..."

*He's attempting to annoy her enough to make her leave him alone for the time being, even though there's a chance his plan might go wrong.*

*She then summons her scythe and wraps it behind his neck so he doesn’t try and back away.*

“I simply enjoy playing with my unfortunate victims, as much as you try to believe you’re not. And you know what, I do like being a show-off. But be careful what you mention, you might give me too many ideas. After all, I don’t want to go too far just yet, but perhaps I can get a bit.. too excited. Oh well.”

*He attempts to ignore the literal scythe wrapped around his neck, as concerning as it may be.*

"I wonder, am I the only 'unfortunate victim'? Surely thy must get bored with me eventually. Wouldn't it be quite repetitive to play with the 'unfortunate'? For thee must need a task larger than I, if I am as small as thy say."

"How thine hath gotten more cocky than when we hath met, I am unsure of. For I do not even know your name."

“My name? Well to put it simply, I’ve been questioning my name for I never really had a ‘real name’. But other beings call me… Grim of Chaos. Probably doesn’t ring a bell which is fine, but let’s just say I was created to be a demigod of universal creation and warping before I.. developed an unusual hunger for demonic energy which led me astray from my original purpose and wanted to expand on it. Buuuut that’s a story for another time.”

“I’ll admit, I wasn’t made to be a ‘perfect’ creator of worlds and dimensions, you can probably guess why, but I’ll leave that to you to figure it out yourself. But I’ll leave you with a hint, you’re the start I need for something that’s none of your concern, but you’ll be entertaining nonetheless.”

“And no, you aren’t the first, but you won’t be the last. But I won’t give you up that easily, I can’t let the opportunity of fun go to waste. And if I lose interest.. well.. I either eat you, or toss you aside leaving you broken, and don’t think I’ll get bored to where I don’t break you, especially for someone like you. The only reason you wouldn’t be broken is if some miracle happened, but if I get the chance to, I will be coming back for you, mark my words…”

*She says as she leans towards him with her sadistic unnerving smile and eyes, and has the scythe right against the back of his neck but not enough to cause a scratch.*

*He reaches his hand back and pushes the scythe away from his neck and back towards her.*

"Grim of Chaos? A fitting title. Thou seem to appreciate and indulge in chaos quite often, from what thou have told me."

"But for thy name... Why not create one thyself? For thou hath had many years to ponder it."

*He says, hoping to maybe distract her.*

*Grim stares at Zestial and the scythe in surprise by the way he pushed the away thinking he would just stand there so he could avoid trouble, but notices he’s trying to distract her and is a bit annoyed but intrigued and decides to play along.*

“I’ve tried coming up with names, none of them really stick with me. I do like the name Grim for short, but it’s hard coming up with names that not only sound good but also have a matching meaning to me. I would like to think of a cool demonic name that isn’t already taken, but for now just call me Grim.”

*Grim then decides to back away to give him space and see how he reacts knowing she isn’t in his space or threatening him, it’s like she’s waiting for him to make a move.*

“Is there anything else you’d like to know?”

*She says with with a knowingly stare.*

*Zestial stands quietly for a moment, just watching as she backs away and stands at a good distance... He knew she was doing it for a reason, but for what, he didn't know. He was quite skeptical of her asking if he wanted to know anything, so instead of asking about the crystal, he remained quiet.*

"No, nothing at our current moment in time..."

*He kept standing awkwardly for a beat, before continuing.*

"Now, if there is nothing thou are requesting of me, then I shall be on my way..."

*He slightly backs away, waiting to see if she'll stop him.*

*Suddenly red crystals started forming around one of his feet up to below his knee to keep him stuck so he doesn’t just walk away.*

“I can tell you have questions, I insist you ask them, I’m willing to answer. :>”

*Grim says so casually as if she didn’t just trap his leg lol.*

*He's now even more skeptical, but he knows she won't let him leave until he says something.*

"Well, I suppose thou could tell me how to remove this irritable crystal thou hath shot into my shoulder."

“If you want to do it yourself, you’d have to cut off your arm and shoulder, though I don’t know if you are able to grow it back. Otherwise, I would have to remove it so I could fix your shoulder too. But you could try removing it yourself before it gets any worse..”

*She says that last part tauntingly. The crystal in his shoulder started to glow a bit and the headache he had started to come back, that’s not a good sign. Grim then grins at the sight and watches his reaction.*

*He seems disappointed, but her answer was pretty much what he expected at this point. His eye unwillingly twitches as his headache progressively starts to get worse.*

"I see... Now I will ask again, what was the purpose of this visit? Entertainment, I am guessing."

*He tries to pull at the crystals around his feet as he speaks, but they aren't budging.*

“Well.. yes. Let’s just say there was a change of plans.”

*She says as her face started showing like the monstrous demigod face he saw from their earlier interaction in his current hallucination and she then just floats there with that creepy face leaning towards him and see how he responds to it. The crystal on his foot the lets him go and disappears, but that doesn’t mean she’s letting him go now.*

*He instinctively takes a step back now that his feet are free. He steals a glace backwards for a moment, debating to run or not, but he stands his ground and looks right back at her. Because for one, he isn't sure if this is real, and two, if she even would let him leave.*

"Art thou done with these frivolous party tricks?"

“You know what? I am.”

*Then out of absolutely nowhere, there was big increase in the headache progressively getting worse, and now the roots from the shard started tightened causing more pain as it glowed. Grim watches the pain start to really kick in with a sadistic, amused smile as she stared down at him.*

“I think it’s time to turn things up a notch.”

*Zestial stumbles backwards and catches himself on his leg. He sneers at Grim. Although he's hurting an unreasonable amount, he makes the (probably not so smart) decision to threaten her back.*

*He makes a bit of green magic, and forces it forward to knock her back like a large gust of wind, not to hurt her, but to warn her.*

"Thou shall cease this nonsense at once, or shall brawl with me now..."

*Grim then.. just stares at him idly with a straight face without her smile. A little too idly to be a normal pause. She then tilts her head before her sadistic smile comes back but with an unnsettling and almost brightened look in her eyes. Oh fuck…*

*The pain in his shoulder and head started to slow down but it hurt like hell. However, now Grim is nowhere to be found as if it was just in his head. And all of the sudden, dimensional rifts started to rip open around like if this place was coming apart. But it had to be fake, right? It’s too early for this place to be coming apart! At the windows, there would be rifts opening outside and screaming. Was this really real?! What is happening?!*

*Zestial frantically looked around for Grim. Where had she gone? Why? Was this her doing? What was happening? He turned around to see that this was happening everywhere. Everywhere he turned...*

*It had to be in his head... or... not? Grim did say she wanted to mess with him before she inevitably destroyed him, so maybe his threat made her start early? But... the hallucinations. And for the wise old man he was, he had no clue what was happening and what to do. So he did all he could.*

"Carmilla?!"

*But of course, he knew she was too far away to hear him. But maybe... just in case... He then told himself to think rationally. This was all happening so fast, too fast. And the crystal still throbbed in his shoulder. So it had to be a hallucination. But how to get out of it, he had no clue...*

“What hath thou done..? Thou had one chance to stop her, and thou let thy fears consume thee..? Hath thou lost thy touch..?”

*His head tells him like he’s thinking, but that couldn’t be his own thoughts. He knew better than to doubt himself like that.*

“Watch as all of hell falls apart, and thou can’t even save Carmilla or thyself from this.. How useless and weak could thy be..?”

*Zestial talks back aloud, despite the his own voice echoing only in his head.*

"No... I am not useless. I gave her a choice. I am above her, maybe not in strength, but in other power."

*He tried to stay rational, Carmilla was fine... He hoped. But now he wasn't sure where Grim was, so it was possi-*

*Wait. This was her doing, right? He would never think these things. This had to be another trick...*

“What if Carmilla is in danger..? Or worse..? If Grim actually destroys this place, what happens next..? Will I pass on too…. or perhaps become a puppet in Grim’s clutches forced to obey and watch everything fall apart over and over again..?”

*The thoughts that wasn’t his continued on. They seemed like his real thoughts, but he knew he wouldn’t think like this, he’s never this paranoid. And to think he might become a puppet if this was truly ending… that’s not a good feeling at all. Wherever Grim is, she’s definitely messing with his head. Was it the crystal, or is she actively controlling these thoughts? Is she inside his head in a literal sense?*

*He places a hand on the crystal, making a final attempt to pull it out, and to no avail...*

"Lies, only told to anger. Grim, thou shall cease this!"

*He knows these thoughts aren't his own...*

*Suddenly a hand rests on the back of his head and his brain was suddenly hyperaware of Grim’s presence inside his head and the roots in his shoulder and the brain could only focus on that before the brain starts going mostly blank so his brain doesn’t stress out too much but he can still feel Grim in his head, but this process has him immobilized, so he can’t do anything about this unfortunately.*

???: “Grim, that’s enough. You’ve had enough fun. Get. Out.”

Grim: “My, my.. I know you aren’t fond of me, Willow, but what’s with that serious attitude? Are you not happy having to chase me around? Did I strike a nerve by simply having a little fun with the mere overlord?”

Willow: “Well our creator wants you back, we can either do this the easy way or the hard way.”

Grim: “Back…? Back in the abyss where I’ve spent months.. hell, maybe years contained…?

Willow: “Well yeah, you’re taking this whole thing too far, not specifically on him, but so many universes you’ve affected. It’s your punishment.”

Grim: “Is that what you think? If it was punishment I wouldn’t have been so tempted to break everything around me! I was given a simulation, all to fulfill my desires, a place where I could stay sane while isolated from the real people. But that wasn’t enough! It only made me hungry for the real thing.. I was practically starving in there! It felt like I was going crazy…! And now… you have no idea how much I want to tear everyone’s sanity apart and watch everything go to flames and get distorted into my own image… Zestial here is just lucky I’m holding back so the fun can last.. perhaps I can make the fun with him last for eternity if I do it right…”

*Grim says that last part as Zestial can feel a nonexistent hand petting his head in a taunting demeaning way. Willow on the other hand was speechless, a mix of realization, disgust, and anger fueled through them.*

*Zestial listened to the conversation as well as he could. Who was this "Willow"? And Grim's "creator" (whoever that may be) wants her back? It seemed there was a lot more to the story than what Grim had told him...*

*While not being able to do anything, he still makes it apparent with his expression that he dislikes the pats.*

Grim: “Got nothing to say?”

Willow: “…Can we just talk about this later? And can you please leave Zestial alone? I know this isn’t your first victim, but just— that’s enough…”

Grim: “You’re… being a lot more soft than you usually are… almost like once before… How… nauseating… Well.. I guess I can leave him alone for now, but I still have a lot planned for him. I will be back, even if I end up finding another source of entertainment or if I just won’t be back for a while for some reason.”

*Zestial then sees a hallucination of the monstrous demigod form he saw when they first met hunching over him and is right in front of his face while holding a tight grip on his chin making him look up at her as if she were there in that form and staring at him with a disturbing gaze.*

Grim: “After all.. I don’t want my favorites to go to waste… And I will be around long enough to eventually return… Mark.. My.. Words…”

*Grim then disappears from in front of him and out of his head, and his headache and hallucinations started to subside. Willow then lets out a sigh of relief and carefully removes her hand off his head and he can move again.*

Willow: … I’m sorry about her… she’s just like that…

*Zestial turns to look at Willow curiously.*

"I hath dealt with her enough to know that... I assume thou know Grim well? To be able to make her retreat is a feat I have not yet achieved..."

“She obviously wouldn’t listen to you or any of her prey. I however… well… that’s a complicated personal story I won’t get into now. Besides, that’s not really relevant to this whole thing besides the fact I’m involved. I guess to put it simply, we were… ‘equals’ in a way. At least a while ago before she started her ‘demonic hunt’.”

“But you.. I..”

*She seemed to be bit shaky.. unnerved even. But then tries to calm down and hide the shaking.*

“Let me fix that real quick for you.”

*They then put a hand out towards him and he blacks out for a couple minutes standing in place before gaining back consciousness and the crystals was removed and his shoulder was fixed like nothing ever happened.*

“There you go! Does that feel better?”

*He notices their shaking before it stops, and he's confused as to why it's happening, but he thinks it's most likely because of Grim... maybe? After his shoulder is fixed, he feels immense relief from the pain. He looks from Willow to his shoulder, then back at Willow.*

"Indeed... I thank thee for this.*

*He bows at the waist in front of her, then rises again.*

"I assume thou art called Willow? From what I hath heard of thy conversation.

“You’re welcome. And yes, that is me, Willow, at your service.” *she says with a bow before rising back up*

*She then looks around the room for a bit before looking back at him.*

“Now, I don’t mean to come across as suspicious or nosy, but have you seen an Alastor staff that’s broken and was dropped somewhere?”

*He blinks once then narrows his eyes. He did indeed see it, but did he want to tell her that? He decided it couldn't do much harm...*

"I did indeed see it... Might thou know why 'twas around? For the Alastor of this world is the same as ever before..."

“You are correct, it is not related to this world’s Alastor. Though while Grim did… some psychological and somewhat physical torment to the other Alastor, it just might’ve slipped her mind when traversing other dimensions (for some reason f*cking reason, I don’t know). You may gone through some of it, though.. Alastor’s had to deal with her longer than you have, so for your sanity I’ll just leave that directly unsaid. But then again… since Grim is starting to step out of her comfort zone and test out the more ‘wise and intelligent’ ones, and the ways she’s so certain she’ll come back to you…”

“Word of warning: Grim can make it really difficult for anyone to tell what is real or not or if her presence is nearby, she doesn’t even need a crystal stuck in your shoulder or anywhere to do it, but I think she only did it to cause you more physical pain than actually want you to feel like you’re losing your mind. So if anything feels off, do not be afraid to confront that anomaly.”

"I shall trust and heed thy warning, for I understand her power is beyond my own. As for Alastor, I shall hope he is still alive? I am unsure of where Grim's plans shall take me, for her chaotic soul is one which I cannot grasp."

“He is, actually! I saved him when he was left alone and I wanted to return his staff, and I happened to notice Grim was tormenting you instead. So as long as he’s alive and is back in better shape and his staff gets fixed, his dimension be safe and—…”

*Willow says as they pull up a magic vision of supposedly the other Alastor’s dimension, but it was just empty space and her expression widens in disbelief, concern, and slight horror trying to keep it together. She makes the vision show different perspectives of it, but nothing was showing. They then put the perspective on Alastor and it shows his body ripped to shreds in a crockpot like pulled pork and the bones were set to the side, and Grim looks through the vision and waves with a menacing smile before making a “come to me” signal with one hand and the other holds Alastor’s staff that was supposed to be in Zestial’s dimension. Willow put the vision away and they were absolutely horrified but nervously tried to laugh it off while unintentionally shaking and pacing around a little bit while making hand movements and looked like they might lose it.*

“H-haha… Well… I-I knew Grim liked feasting on demons, but I just didn’t realize how.. gruesome she can be about it. And it’s not like he’s the most powerful or most important thing in the dimension, s-she just happens to pick on certain types. T-though I… hoped to at least be able to save someone when I couldn’t save anyone who— oh fuck me… *she says with a nervous chuckle and puts a hand on her head*”

*Zestial has a look of concern that transforms into disbelief, matching Willow's as he looks through the same vision as them. He watched Grim wave, and he saw Alastor's shredded and torn body, knowing that he may just be in a similar position soon.

*He looks back to Willow pacing, the concern coming back to him.*

"At least thou can say thou hath tried thy best, no? For there is no reason thou could have known of Grim's... activities."

*They then stop pacing and take a deep breath before speaking looking like they’re trying to stay patient and hopeful while on the verge of insanity.*

“If this conversation between us doesn’t at least bring some sort of positive impact, I don’t know what to do at this point. That is if she will even try to keep a proper conversation and not just taunting me.. or worse. If that doesn’t work, do I just attempt to kill her? Give her a taste of her own medicine? It’s not like I can ask our creator to remove her. Not to mention how I’m stuck with my restraints meanwhile Grim is actively trying to break off hers.. and it’s slowly but surely working..”

*Zestial stops to think for a moment before speaking.*

"...Would thou have enough power to defeat her? And if not, who is this creator of yours, and why couldn't they help?"

“I need more strength to even try to contain her. And technically… they’re our creator, aka, me and Grim. Said creator monitors over us and other related creations while we help build universes to expand in the multiverse. But technically… Grim wasn’t the main one who would be doing that. I did have a little control over that, but that didn’t last long. You see… Grim is more of an alternate version of the.. do I call it ‘manager’?, of said universes and dimensions. However….. the main version of them has.. kinda.. disappeared for… what is it, almost four years now? And Grim has actively tried to be the main one in charge, there was a bunch of back and forth between other demigods and some were created just to attempt to fill their place, I was one of them, and I was not deemed completely worthy as my own creativity can be a bit.. chaotic, but not in a evil messed up way, just a fun little survival game sort of thing. Yeah… call me a hypocrite for the whole chaos thing if you want, but I at least have my morals. But the creator decided it’s not best to come up with a replacement, so the creator’s been taking care of the whole creation thing, meanwhile the rest of us have to deal with what has already been created and what is on the loose and what is actively trying to kill us all which the creator had to put a limit on because Grim started killing us and now she’s using her ‘sweet sweet time’ to torment and destroy everything else she is legally allowed to touch!”

*Willow lets out a deep sigh and as they finish rambling as the end of it gets faster as they get a little stressed out.*

*Zestial is now a bit suspicious of the fact that Willow has now admitted that she too is chaotic. Though maybe not as much as Grim, it still worried him. But he decided to ignore it for now.*

"Disappeared? I assume thou do not know where they hath gone?... To be created for one purpose and not be able to fill it, I do pity that. It is interesting to myself though that Grim had restrictions with the dimensions... may that fact possibly have something to do with how she now wishes to rid of all constraints?"

“Unfortunately no, at least I don’t know. Between you and me though, I believe my creator’s story of them not knowing where they are is a load of trash, I bet they’re doing something with them and they just don’t want to tell any of us. I’m not saying it might be bad, but I feel like they’re a part of something important. But why they disappeared for so long, I’m not sure… But even if they’re okay, who knows if they’re even aware of Grim and what she’s done.”

“And yes, Grim’s felt like her purpose was wasted away from the chains that hold her back, so she’s been doing whatever she can to fulfill… whatever purpose she’s trying to fill at this point. … I know you have more questions and even some concerns, but I feel like I should stop here and not keep Grim waiting too long. She does try to be patient on her own terms, but she can still be very impatient. And… considering the fact I lost someone I tried to save… I don’t know if I can protect you from her… Even if she doesn’t kill you, I can only imagine the worst of what could happen, and it would still happen out of my control.. I’m sorry… I’m really, really sorry…”

"Thou hath done what thy can for me, and for that I am indebted to you... But I have a single question remaining: what should I do now?"

“… Don’t worry about that… But for what you should do now, that’s a tough decision… I don’t think you’ll be able to get out of this either way… Any help I am able to get from where I come from won’t be enough because they have very little power, they are at least safe from being harmed, but they won’t be able to help in a power sense. I have tried going to find angels who can help because of her being part demon from what she’s consumed, but anytime I go there, she would follow me there… and if I said anything, then… *fails to hold back a shiver*. I don’t know if me asking you to get someone to go up to heaven like someone at the hotel to ask the higher ups if they are able to do anything would somewhat help, and I’m not sure if you know who would be listening in if you know what I mean. But I think what you can do safely is carefully let the other overlords and the Morningstar family know about this situation of Grim possibly coming for them and most likely will blew this universe up when she’s done with it. Though keep in mind demons are what fuel Grim, and I guess fallen angels too from what I’ve heard, so if you guys come up with a plan for self defense, do it as carefully as possible. Does that all make sense? 😓”
