haven’t seen anything on here yet but Hawai’i is reeling from yet another natural disaster. 2 weeks of rain from 2 back to back kona low weather systems have resulted in flooding across the pae ‘āina. cleanup work is ongoing. many houses were under several feet of water and people have lost everything. if you feel so inclined, the Lāhui Foundation is a trusted organization to give funds to. i would recommend against donating to usamerican NGOs and orgs; many lāhainā, maui wildfire victims never saw a penny from them. reblogs are welcome <3

please oh please tell me more about dan and phiws trip to iom in 2015?

so they both framed it in their liveshows (phil)(dan) that it was to escape the drilling/ finish the book in peace/go hang out with martyn outside of work

but it was dan's first ever public iom trip and the first time they openly talked about dan being around phil's family/grandparents casually

also this was a couple months after the japan trip and right after dan's 24th birthday so they got to have some quiet family time in the midst of tour/book chaos <3

so they went to the horse sanctuary and climbed a cliff to go to a cliff cafe (top left dan's only instagram from the beach walk where he calls himself the grim reaper) with phil's family

These words came out of the depths of my own grief, and I am so grateful to have made this small connection with others in the midst of it. Grief is isolating and indescribable, but none of us are alone.

I really am sick of the “We killed this person/pointed a gun at them because they were trying to run us over.” justification from ICE and cops. Get out of the fucking way. Lol. Motorists hit bicyclists and pedestrians all the time while they’re minding their own goddamn business and they don’t pull a gun on the driver. You’re standing in front of a car so you can shoot someone and justify it. You’re not minding your own goddamn business crossing the street, you’re looking for a reason to kill.

Being struck by a vehicle accounts for about 9% of officer fatalities on the job. Mind you, we don’t know how many cops were maliciously struck by eeeeeevil criminals, how many were run over by other cops and how many were genuine accidents. We do know cops are more than twice as likely to die crashing their own goddamn vehicles than being run over by someone else.

this show is about men this movie is about men this game is meant to be played as a man these characters are men so they're intrinsically more likeable than their bitchy women counterparts this show is about women but they're all for men to look at this movie is about a woman but there's a guy there as well to make it more palatable for General Audience (men) this fandom is all about this one man what do you mean you don't like men. what about this man you must like him!!! he's like a woman to me! and by that i mean i headcanon him as a trans man because im #queeringit and him being a trans man basically means Woman Lite right? so i basically do care about women! and going on e makes you like men and going on t makes you like men and being a lesbian means you still have to have a himbo man friend and you HAVE to read this book! it's about a man
