May we see Happiny's whole day please?
Let it be said, that Happiny is a happy baby. She is the happiest bean ever and I'm so happy that she'll soon be in the fic. This is one of the possible days that Happiny can have at NRC!
Happiny wakes up to the room that her Daddy and Uncle Ace share with two other people. She yawns as she gets up from the bed that she sleeps in. Of course, she cleans the bed up and makes sure that it's nice before her Daddy does her special bow that looks like her Mama's. Once they're both ready for the day, they attend the roll call.
Riddle: "Deuce Spade!"
Deuce: "Here, Dorm Head!"
Riddle: "Happiny!"
Happiny: "Hap Hap!" Here!
This has become routine for them ever since Happiny was born in the dorm. Once that's said and done, Uncle Ace, Daddy, and Happiny go over to the special place where a lot of her friends are: Ramshackle. Happiny doesn't know why it's called Ramshackle, but that's the name. In the arms of her Daddy, they knock on the door before entering the dorm.
Happiny seeing her Mama and beaming: "Happiny!" Mama, good morning!
Soni taking Happiny into her arms and hugging her to the baby's delight: "Good morning, Happiny. You look very happy today."
Happiny just enjoys the cuddles as they all gather for a quick breakfast. Happiny typically eats Berries from the farm as well as some Moomoo Milk so she gets stronger when she grows up. Uncle Ace and Daddy talk to Mama about things, but Grimmy is staring at her food like always.
Grimmy is her weird cat friend who's not a cat. He also calls her "little henchman", which Happiny doesn't really know what that means, but she thinks it's another word for a friend! He sometimes wipes her Berries whenever he thinks her Mama isn't looking, but then Mama says something about reducing the number of tuna cans in the budget and suddenly Grimmy just cries about how unfair Mama is.
During Potions classes, Happiny is always curious about the cool bubbling stuff in the bottles, letting out little gasps whenever they sparkle and glitter in the air. The man with the fluffy coat makes sure that she's covered up with the swishy coat and goggles, although they don't fit her perfectly.
Daddy and Uncle Ace are a pair for this particular Potion and what happens is this:
Deuce: "Oi, make sure to not over stir it!"
Ace: "Tch, idiot, we're supposed to mix it with the Bell Roots like this!"
BOOM!
Happiny: "Happiny!" Yay for big boom!
During History lessons, Happiny takes her nap on her Daddy's lap and wakes up to the sound of the school bell. She doesn't know what that other Grimmy cat is doing, but it likes to stare at her. Happiny waves goodbye to the nice-looking grandpa and they go to P.E.
The coach lets her run with the students, although many times they often slow down for some reason or part to let her through. Happiny doesn't really know why. She's extremely happy in these classes because she gets to run with her Daddy, unlike the club meetings where she's often told not to join him. Not only that, but Mama is also there with games for her to play like the sparkly disk that the grumpy lion person gave her that one time!
On the side, the students quietly agree to let the little bun have their fun and not run beside her as they might fall over her and possibly injure her, which will result in literal chaos and someone getting punched. Those who see Happiny running around with the Magishift disk shiver in fear or the more reckless ones challenge her to throw it at them.
When lunch comes around, Happiny gets food from her Mama and Daddy, usually a mix of the Pokemon food, Berries, and more Moomoo Milk. Sometimes her Daddy sneaks her a sweet to eat and even though Mama tells him not to spoil her, Mama gives her a special Pokepuff if she behaves for the day. Pokepuffs are special things that she really, really likes and Mama doesn't make a whole bunch because she's usually busy.
"Krill-chan!" Suddenly the world goes upside down and Happiny squees as she's flung into the air.
She knows this voice! "Happiny!" Uncle Floyd!
"Shrimpy, look at how happy she is! She really likes this sort of thing!"
"Floyd please, for the love of Arceus, don't fling her to the ceiling. Deuce, help Happiny already-"
Happiny doesn't understand why her Daddy and Mama always look worried about Uncle Floyd. He's very fun and he's super nice to her! He also gives the best hugs.
When Happiny told her Mama about the mean people who picked on her, Uncle Floyd was the one to help Happiny, although he did tell her to close her eyes for some reason. When he told her to look again, the meanies were nowhere to be found. That day she got to play with Sobble with his stuffed plushies and even eat some snacks from the food place that Sobble lives in!
After lunch, Happiny often sticks with her Daddy for his club meetings, and here comes the most boring part of the day. He's too busy to play with her, Uncle Ace couldn't take her with him because he was also dealing with his stuff, and Mama was doing her work for that weird bird person.
When this happens, Happiny explores the school!
Sometimes she goes to other dorms, in the Heartslabyul Gardens, even the Magishift Fields where she can play with the players and the cool sparkly disk! She really likes going to Ramshackle, although it's very far from everything else. It's really comfy there and the Pokemon that live there are super nice to her! The other Pokemon in the dorms are nice too, but in Ramshackle, Happiny can really play with the other Pokemon and her Mama will always come home at the end of the day.
Sometimes the nice person with horns stops by Mama's and they enjoy playing together by the pond where the funny White Bird Pokemon lives. The sleepy person usually cuddles up with Big Sis Nimbus and the green person who reads her stories often screams at the White Bird Pokemon. When Mr. Lilia comes around, Happiny is often sung a lullaby and she falls asleep with no further fuss.
When she wakes up again from her nap, Happiny is greeted by the sight of Uncle Ace holding her. Uncle Ace is someone who took care of her almost as much as her Daddy and Mama, but he's too shy to admit that he cares. Happiny doesn't know why. Mama says it's okay to be happy, to show concern, and to be caring!
Even so, Happiny and Uncle Ace watch as Grimmy lights up the fireplace while her favorite people all gather around the fireplace. Homework is done as they all work together as well as worksheets that her Mama gives to Daddy and Uncle Ace, much to their dismay. Happiny didn't know why. They were like the fun drawing books her Mama gave her!
Deuce lifts his pen off the page: "Hmm? Ah... I forgot about the whiskers."
Happiny: "Hap?" It looks like a cat?
Ace: "Teacher's pet, why are you giving us more homework? Didn't you mention something about this sort of thing not being useful on the fly?"
Soni: "It's better to identify the distinct features of some Pokemon as to get some idea of their typing if you run into them. Even better is if you remember what kind of Pokemon they are."
Happiny likes to play with the coloring books that she gets from her Mama, just having fun with them until dinner. That's where all her favorite people gather for dinner or Daddy brings her home to Heartslabyul for dinner there. Whenever Happiny gest reminded that she isn't staying with her Mama for the night, Happiny gets sad and just looks at her Daddy with teary eyes. Happiny just feels sad to leave her Mama in Ramshackle. Why couldn't Mama just stay with her Daddy?
Mama always has a funny look on her face whenever Happiny brings it up and Uncle Ace always laughs at Daddy for some reason. After getting kisses and cuddles from her Mama, Happiny has to say goodbye. From that point on, her Daddy and Uncle Ace bathe her, help her with the rocks that she collected in the day, and they finally go to sleep. Happiny's favorite blankie is one that her Mama made with the man with the fluffy coat. It's super warm and cozy. It's with this item that Happiny can go to sleep in peace and dreams of happy things for happy memories.
Deuce tucks Happiny into her bed and kisses her on the forehead, "Good night, Happiny."
"Hap Hap!" Good night, Daddy! Happiny moves over to kiss her Daddy on the cheek and cuddles under the blanket again.
From that point on, Happiny goes to a dreamland where all her loved ones are with her and happy.
Meanwhile Ace is just staring at Deuce who's so overwhelmed by Happiny's cuteness for the fifth time this week.
Ace: "Are you serious? Haven't you gotten used to that by now?"
Deuce: "It's still really cute!"
