the files are all directly downloaded from this site, so there's no third party to worry about. i didn't make this site - it was created by PotentialAd943 on reddit, who claims they scanned their files clean before hosting. just to be sure, i scanned my pc after downloading too. it all came up clean! but it's good to be aware of pc safety, especially when pirating. it can't hurt to do a scan of your own to be sure!
how much pc knowledge do i need for this?
you should know how to download files, how to make and manage folders in file explorer, and how to navigate a program's settings menu.
any settings i should change in ryujinx?
here's some i recommend checking before starting the game:
for tomodachi life specifically, make sure you set a timezone in settings! you can have it match your pc's time for simplicity.
there are ostensibly keyboard controls, but they're a little wonky to figure out. if you can, plugging in any controller should work just fine. just make sure to select it in ryujinx's input settings! (you should also still be able to use your mouse for things like drawing facepaint!)
graphics settings will be on a per-pc basis, depending on your pc's strength. it's worth it to experiment with them and see what gives you the best performance. ryujinx will explain what each setting does if you hover over it!
the game crashed?
that's very likely to happen! on first time loading a scene, the emulator can sometimes struggle. it happened to me the first time i opened the mii editor, and the first time i opened the news station. you should be able to relaunch and everything will be fine. if it's happening super frequently, though, you may need to adjust your graphics or cpu settings!

You were a classic Roblox fan (retro slop). Something about it was… nostalgic? Comforting? Whether you were there for those times or not, you could always appreciate the amount of joy and creativity that practically leak through out the relics of the age.
And those relics? Well of course it’s old experiences and games!
And right now, you were playing “Classic Dodge The Teapots of Doom!” By clockwork. This guy in particular had made some very notable contributions to the old Roblox community. From just working for Roblox to making some of the most memorable ugcs and making the absolute og “Classic Dodge The Teapots of Doom!”
Which you were playing right now.
You did exactly what the objective was. Move forward, dodge the teapots (of doom!) and keep going until you reach the end and up the spawn rate of the teapots (of doom!). You don’t know how long you’ve been playing, but enough times where it was basically sheer luck if you could make it to the end of not.
Sure, it was lonely. But, there was the occasional player that’d stop by and try to make it to the end. While there was basically no conversation, it was nice to know that others at least had a similar amount of interest in entertaining something from the past.
Then they’d leave. To be expected, this game wasn’t exactly made to be played for long periods of time. Sigh, whatever. It is what it is.
And before you knew it? You had your 7th visitor throughout your whole entire play run!

Hello, I'm Amber, and when I was about 9-11, I forget specifically how old I was, my parents got into a huge fight because my dad couldn't find clothes for work and I got blamed for it bc, and I quote, "the kids haven't done their laundry." Hi I’m the mod on Ask Chance and all the other blogs, also known as Mod Nova on Ask Mafioso (as tagged) or Polen if you know me well online and when I was in year 8 (12-13) I almost got ran over by a white car. SPECIFICALLY a white car. Broke the mirror and my water bottle flew out my hand. I was in the middle of the road when it happened (Friday, at like half 4 in the afternoon in Autumn/Fall or Winter) Cus my brain was like “Hey, why not take the actual road instead of the crosswalk” and I did it.
I make it to the other side. A guy named Craig and his sister/wife (I forgor) pulled up in his car and asked “Are you ok?” And I said yea. Then another woman came over and asked if I was ok (The one that almost ran me over) and I cried after the adrenaline was over. I cried while I hugged her and said sorry over and over again. And turns out she worked at my Primary school and was the new year 5 teacher there!
I called my mum (she was close by, luckily) and sat in the teachers car while I waited for my mum to come over and I was really fuckin shaken. I went home and went to the hospital like what, half an hour later? Sat in the hospital for a good hour and a bit. I was just shaken and luckily didn’t break a bone. I still gotta click my wrists time to time again tho out of habit. The bottle was fine as well, Dw :p
