The warm touch of your lover was on your hand. Jade Leech, your partner, held your hand tightly in his. The two of you were walking along a trail together, and naming all the different flora and fauna found. The trail was quiet, with the ruffling of your steps. There was a slight breeze—not too cold nor too hot. It felt pleasant and peaceful.
“My dear, look,” Jade points to a bird perched on a branch. The bird had a round belly, and big cute eyes. You immediately fall in love with the adorableness of it.
“It’s so pretty, hm? Its big eyes and big belly are so cute. Ah, its feathers look soft too…” You said with enthusiasm. “Birds are always so beautiful. I could never get sick of them.”
Jade felt a tinge of jealousy—seeing you admire another species instead of his. Were moray eels not as enchanting?
“There’s a squirrel climbing up that tree,” You pointed out. The squirrel was holding several nuts, overwhelming itself. Then, all the nuts fell to the ground and the squirrel stood still in disappointment. “Ahah! It overestimated itself! What a cute little thing!”
Jade smiled softly, shutting his eyes. Are you trying to make him suffer right now? His rational mind told him you were simply pointing out things you saw. But his emotional mind was getting more and more envious.
“Do you think moray eels are cute too?” He suddenly spoke. You could tell there was a little possessiveness behind his words.
“Hm, well. Technically speaking, they’re… a little hard to look at,” you said. Your wording broke Jade’s eel heart slightly. “However, that’s what makes them cute. Don’t you think so?”
His love for you just soared again.
“Yes…” He nodded, trying to keep his composure. Even with the simplest of sentences, you still make him the most happy he can be.
Jade's the type of guy to drag you along in all of his adventures whether it be hiking, searching for mushrooms, or cooking.
He finds himself searching for you all around the campus before he can get to the fun part. It's as if he can't live without you. You've gotten used to being brought along in all of his activities and everyone wonders why, you do too.
It's unsurprisingly nice to have someone that actively looks for you because they actually want to spend time with you, not just to be used & thrown away.
Maybe that's why you two have already shared a first kiss in the mountain.
Hands wrapped around his neck while he uses his arms to pull you up so you can reach him, lips meeting each other into a passionate collision. The idea was never spoken about, much less mentioned, only done because it felt... right.
(Im gonna be so sad if he doesnt have a pet tiger. You dont understand. I will be DISTRAUGHT.)
In the idea that its canon he does have one, i like to think that despite you two being together, grim and that tiger very much AREN'T.
While grim tolerates Minajael (the money, free tuna) he cannot and will not tolerate that tiger
It took Minajael's tiger a while to warm up to you. You tried every trick in the book!!!! Bringing them food, bringing toys, you even tried to read up on how to earn their approval
And eventually you did!! To say you cried happy tears when they finally laid beside you and laid their head upon your lap was an understatement
Minajael was not happy because you REFUSED to get up until his tiger got up. Which also meant his limited time with you was TAKEN from him
However, Minajael did not make the same progress with Grim....
Grim was very loud mouthed about his opinion of Minajael. "Something something, snooty prince something something" you cant blame him, hes so used to the princes at NRC that the thought of one NOT having secret underlying evil intentions is jarring
It took trails of tuna (literally) to get grim to at least be accepting of minajael (as if you were gonna let grim dictate who you dated anyways LMAO)
Now you'll find minajael sharing his food with grim whenever your on your little food outings with eachother. Youve taken quite the amount of photos that grim BEGS you to delete
Just found part of a wip and thought how adorable it would be if baby Malleus decided he could try dragging a full grown Silver back to his room and ends up nearly giving the guy multiple head injuries by bumping into walls because he's simply too big then being caught by Lilia which somehow ends up with them both trying to carry Silver but making it seem like they're trying to hide a body because Lilia is also a tiny munchkin.
This is what happens when your possessed by the late nightly thoughts.

Can you feel how much I wanted Lilia to share some of his grandpa wisdom? But nope, grandpa has more fun playing a teen and I can't blame him.
I actually like their relationship, lilia is a great character overall who just let things slide, I like his personality.
And yes, a part with Malleus is coming (I just did the storyboard though :')...). Drawing chess pieces was a pain though ..
Btw, please do not look at the placement of the game x), I just put them in random places, I don't have enough motivation to look for those conditions to win...
