The dingy streetlamps barely provided a dim glow to illuminate the path towards Ramshackle. The bushes rustled, as a gentle breath of air lazily danced across the leaves. Upon looking up, unfamiliar constellations and stars greet you.
Nearer to you though, green specks of light appear which sparkled and crackled in its wake. Not long after, he appeared.
Your nightly visitor, sitting on the bench beside you.
“Tsunotaro!”
No matter how many times you’ve seen him seemingly materialise out of thin air, it was always a thrilling experience.
“Good evening to you too, Child of man.” He chuckled, lips curving into a rare smile.
Despite it being almost midnight, it seemed as though both of you could continue talking for hours on end. As time passed, he'd lean closer to you, listening attentively. It was as if every word spoken was precious.
Gradually, an ache you’ve been ignoring makes itself known. Your eyelids grow heavy, your head droops ever so slightly.
He was surprised, has it been that long? It was merely…Four hours… Nevermind, it’d be best if you could rest now. Humans need about 8 hours of sleep, right? Shall he simply cut this conversation short?
Glancing over at you, he watched as your head tilted, blinking slower. It was all the motivation he needed.
“(name),”
Unbuttoning and slipping out of his blazer in a smooth motion, he set it down on his lap. Before shifting closer, wrapping his hand around your shoulder, nudging you to lean on him.
Was he…letting you sleep on him?
Even though you were obviously tired, it didn’t stop you from shooting him a smug smirk.
"It would be remiss of me to allow you to suffer the cold on my account." Draping his jacket over your shoulders, he let out an amused huff in reply.
Above, the unfamiliar stars kept watch, and the faint scent of night air clung to his jacket as your eyes finally fluttered shut.

“(name)! There you are, I’ve got something new to show you!”
Cater waved at you eagerly, while holding a parcel in his other hand. Ever since you joined him for a video, he’s started inviting you to join him in reviewing products. Specifically, many PR packages. Since he tries to only use his own shades and things that match his style, the piles of boxes have been gradually grown over time. As such, you are the main person he goes to pass (lovingly dump) the products to. They were all surprisingly thoughtful, like intricately designed makeup palettes that he thought you might like, or shoes that you were keeping your eye on.
He’s definitely never stared at a bow-shaped bag for god knows how long before giving it to you, and totally not praying that you’d never walk in on him doing that.
Besides reviewing products, he likes filming vlogs of your dates together. Of course, either blocking out your face or just showing your body if you weren’t comfortable being filmed. Even though some shots have to be cut, he still stores them in his folders. Sometimes compiling them into tapes for both of you to look back on. He often searches out cafes that match your aesthetic, even if most of the menu were desserts, plated delicately on top of a ruffled table cloth. It’s all worth it after seeing your delighted expression after all.
Before dates, both of you try to coordinate your outfits. Even though he doesn’t really find himself reaching for “cute” things in general because of his sister’s insistence on dressing him up in the past, he still relents when you put cute pins and ribbons in his hair, not without playfully sighing as you worked your magic.
“Ruggie… The chiffon hem broke off again. Can you help me fix it, please?”
You tried to persuade him, putting up your best puppy eyes at him. Nothing comes without a price after all. Little did you know, he was battling with himself not to fold on the spot. It’s against his work policy, but exceptions could surely be made…Right? It’s totally not because it’s you. Somehow, he’s the best person on campus to go for altering and fixing clothes, or anything in general actually. From cinching the waistline to shortening the panels, he knows how to do it after watching a few videos. Even though his “fees” are expensive, they sure are worth it. Though, a kiss on the cheek usually works. Sometimes, you find your shirt already mended, complemented with a new lace trim. Upon thanking him, you get to see a rare expression on his face. His lips parting slightly as a blush makes its way up his face.
He’s the best photographer and hype man you’ll ever need. When helping take photos of you, he always ends up in an awkward position. While leaning back and kneeling down, he’s still able to keep balance, even telling you how to pose and where to stand. Not to mention all while holding your bag and jacket, making sure they never touch the ground.
Although trying to be discreet about it, you notice that he casually offers to help carry your bag when both of you are out together. Despite the jarring difference between him and the frilly clutch that you had on you.
“ (name), your shoelaces are out, I’ll hold your bag for a sec’ ”
When you forget to take it back from him, he just looks the other way. If it meant that he could lift at least a little bit of weight off your shoulders, why not?
“Don’t worry about me, let’s get something to dress your blisters first.”
Maybe being tempted to buy cheap but cute heels that had bows haphazardly stuck on them was not a good idea. The stiff sides of the heels dug into your skin as you struggled to walk. As any good partner would do, Azul decided to switch shoes with you, especially after hearing a pained hiss come out from you. It was just heels right? Surely, he could at least handle it until both of you reached home.
Slipping on the shoes, it was…alright? Until he started walking.
It was already hard to learn how to walk on land, but this? He was practically walking on sea urchins. Holding back his expressions, he tried to stop himself from wincing. He still manages to get back to Ramshackle before collapsing on the sofa. Despite this, he’d still do it again in a heartbeat. Just for you though. Unless bound by a contract, he’d never do this for anyone.
Besides honourable sacrifices, he had many new experiences on land with you. Despite being a shrewd businessman, he still gets nervous when going to photobooths with you. He doesn’t mind the cute bunny ears you placed on him, but he worries about how he should pose. What was more appropriate, a peace sign? Folding his arms? When completing a finger heart with you, it felt as though his heart was about to burst. If it wasn’t satisfactory, especially to him, both of you (yes both) are going back in to take more photostrips with stickers and a fancy border. He keeps them in an album, sometimes smiling to himself, recalling the fond memories.
When you visit Mostro Lounge, you should expect to be treated like royalty. Order a parfait? An extra scoop of ice cream and a heap of whipped cream is served in a tall glass usually reserved for special occasions. There’s even a cherry on top! When looking around, you see him supervising the cooks and even stepping in to cook and serve you. Even the staff are happy to see you since Azul’s mood improves.
Can I please request a Leona x sick gn reader, just a cold that feels like they're nearing death. I'm sick rn too and craving a grumpy lion's affection that isn't just sleeping beside me. Only if you're willing, I love your work s much😭❤️🫶

A cold was plaguing you for a week at this point. Not being serious enough to excuse you, but so suffocating it felt like you were going to start choking at any time. The mask that the nurse had forced you to wear wasn’t helping either. Apparently it also had the potential to be “contagious”, so not even Grim could sleep near you.
You had no problem dragging yourself out of bed every day.
Well, until now. You’ve overslept. By a lot.
Desperately combing through your hair in the hopes of straightening it, you race down the creaking staircase. Although, something caught your attention. Specifically, an aromatic scent drifting from the kitchen.
Peeking from the door, you realised there was a pot of soup on top of the stove. Stirring it was… Leona?!
“(name).”
As if you were right on time, he tilted his head back, motioning you to sit at the dining area. Your previous panic was long forgotten, replaced with confusion and maybe anticipation.
“Who knew that I’d find Leona here first thing in the morning?” You teased, already starting to grin.
“It would've been a hassle if you dropped dead on me.” He huffed, as if it was enough reason to come to Ramshackle. He filled a bowl, sliding it towards you, and took a seat right in front of you.
The soup looked genuinely good, and the broth was rich but not overpowering. Upon closer inspection, there were even vegetables inside. You looked at him and back at the bowl of soup in awe.
Seeing your expression, he gave an unimpressed look. “Ruggie made it. Now drink before I make you.” His tail flicked in what almost seemed to be agitation (or embarrassment)
Surprisingly, he watched you finish all of it, carefully monitoring you as you made conversation with him. It turned out that Grim was very vocal, nudging and pushing Leona to go over to check on you. Obviously, it was the only reason (in his words).
When you finished, it was like he was released from his duty, waving you off to go back to bed.
Well, since he offered, it’d be fine to take a break right? Besides, he’d totally help with making an excuse for cutting class, right? (He didn’t)
Upon waking up you catch him by your side. Between the tight gap between your bed and the wall, he sat, reading a book. Hearing the rustling of your blanket, his ears twitched, and his eyes flickered up at you.
He narrowed his eyes at you, like he was solving a puzzle. Leaning against the headboard, he brought his hand close to you, pressing his palm against your forehead. Heaving a sigh of what seemed to be relief, he sunk back into his seat.
“It’s just a cold, go back to sleep.” He softly poked your forehead, pushing you back onto the pillow. A sigh left him a moment later, like even that small gesture had exhausted him.
“... You know, taking care of someone is really not like you.”You turned your head to the side to face him.
“Well, it’s not like I would do such a thing unless it was for you.” He grumbled under his breath.
“Looks like Grim really exaggerated things again, huh?”

Leona-Somehow, you’re always able to find him. Whether it be his prime napping spots, or more secluded places around the school, it was fairly easy. Maybe it was the purposeful hints he dropped while talking to you earlier in the day? From “the sun’s too bright today” to “I’d prefer somewhere cooler”, when you realised, it was glaringly obvious that he wanted you to look for him later. You didn’t miss the way his tail flicks or when he cracks one eye open when you move closer to him. As you take a seat beside him, you totally didn’t see him shift to shade you from the sun, and that smug look on his face after. Totally.
Ruggie- From markets to thrift shops, he’s always managed to find a way to haggle his way through. While paying, he would look at you smugly, taking your purchases along and going to the counter, as if he was preparing for an exam. Even when you weren't free, he's willing to help buy weekly groceries for you. It always seemed like he could read your mind, he'd even remember the correct detergent and types of fruits you liked. Never mind how fidgety he got when he handed you the bag… or should you? When you thanked him, however, he'd make quick excuses to leave, stuttering unusually as a slow blush bloomed across his face. Sometimes even forgetting to get the money that you owed him.
Jack-He carries a larger canvas bag when he goes out with you, especially if you like bringing out small bags. When you asked him if you could put some of your items in his bag, he shuffled a little, trying to act cool while also hiding his now wagging tail. Even though both of you are in different classes, with different schedules, and even more so with his training, he still manages to hang out with you. What caught your eye, however, was how he would scratch his neck awkwardly. His ears also often flattened around you, like he was embarrassed? … No way, right? Any time you make careless mistakes, he even teases you a little before catching himself and starts scolding-more like nagging you.

Azul- Was he… nervous? Every time you accidentally touch him, even if just lightly brushing fingers, he immediately retracts his hand as fast as he possibly could. He pushes his glasses up, trying to compose himself. Little did he know… His expressions becomes surprisingly readable when he’s around you. Or maybe you’re used to being around him? Either way, he becomes super obvious (and super in-denial). You see his face fall in real time when refusing his offers, which made him look all the more endearing. No Azul, you will not be falling for his study guides. Nor the fancy skincare from god knows where.
Jade-Words just spill out of his mouth when he’s with you. He can’t help it, the way you lean in closer while listening to him. He wouldn’t say he’s flustered, rather- just charmed by you. He definitely did not start talking a little faster. What better way to keep your attention than to let you know more about him? It wasn’t intentional at first, but now? It feels like he’s sprinkling hints, testing the waters. Although… he’d overshared. A lot. The part that really surprised him was that it was all by accident. A mere oversight at first, which slowly turned into a habit. You wouldn’t go against his trust right?
Floyd- You find clothes shoved in your hand again, and… What’s with these accessories? He regularly enjoys fashion, from thrift shops to high-end luxury brands, and apparently that extends to you too. At some point he just started lending you clothes, tossing them at you a day before you were planning to go somewhere. Hopefully you’ll never find out how giddy he gets when browsing through clothes for you and him. Wouldn’t he look really lame? Holding up a t-shirt, as he thought about how it would match with your current wardrobe (that mostly held clothes chosen by him). Whenever he sees you, he feels a sense of pride, and even a little thump in his chest.
