I love this chonk, he looks so fluffy!

I really hate seeing so much of the gaming community going crazy over the new Harry Potter game, just completely ignoring the fact it's going to make a very dangerous violent transphobe even richer and more dangerous.

And by not talking about it, all gaming youtubers and reporters are effectively laundering JKs reputation and image. Everyone is getting high on the nostalgia and/or trying to alienate any of their viewers or audience that they end up giving free rein to transphobes and queerpohbes or all types.

Well all the trouble with Blizzard came out, there was loads of talk about it, about how it would or should effect their games. How people had stopped playing their games that they'd until change happened. That they'd refuse to buy any new ones.

If you think about it, the games title is nearly a sick joke. This will help reassert her benign legacy as the creator of a beloved childrens franchise and universe.

If this game does well, and is a good game, that's all people will talk about, it'll be loved and overshadow nearly anything else about its creator.

If the game does terribly, if it's a bad game, that's all people will talk about, they'll complain about how good it could have been, how the universe deserves so much better. And again it'll overshadow nearly anything else about its creator

JK is a loser trying to stay relevant at all costs. If sucking up to terfs is the way she wants to go, all the worse for her as she'll completely destroy her legacy and reputation.

If you think she'll get any money from the sales of this upcoming Hogwarts game, you're most likely wrong. She got paid for the license, the actual profits will go to the publisher. Either way the money's changed hands already so she'll be laughing at you all the way to the bank. Plus she's mega loaded already, so even if the entire world started boycotting her right now, it won't affect her bottom line in the slightest.

If it's a good game, I WILL play it and I don't care if some tumblrina shames me for it. With that said, I will NOT buy the game new. I'll buy it used so that neither Warner Bros not Rowling get any of my money. If you're interested in Hogwarts Legacy, get it. Play it. Enjoy it. Remember that Rowling is a pathetic asshole and tell others who may not know.

The world is not black and white. You can separate the creation from its creator. Just make sure you buy the stuff used so that you don't directly support the scumbags. Believe it or not, your quietly watching Harry Potter in your living room or reading the books in bed won't destroy the entire LGBT+ movement overnight...

Does it suck? Yes. Is it unfair? Definitely. Should you be free to be who you are without fear? Absolutely. But that's not the society we're living in, and until all the assholes magically drop dead, look out for yourself and don't show your weaknesses to strangers if you don't want to get abused.
