I havent checked on welcome to derry yet (i do plan to, work had just been crazy and another series of books i love is getting an adaptation). But im checking in rn wondering if welcome to derry is giving the reddie fandom a renaissance on content?? Especially with my acc getting notifications even tho i havent been online in months lol

I feel like this fandom doesnāt necessarily hold Stephen King in a pedestal or even likeā¦ anywhere at all. But still. Shit changes if he were a pedo.
It would personally hurt me so much knowing material (the novel and these characters) that i hold soso close to my heart and gives me so much comfort comes from the mind of a pedo. Listen life has been good to me lately in terms of work and opportunities (more than work, i got into grad school!!! And its been super busy but i have been LOVING it!!!). And moved to a new city alone. Its been a hectic year so I havenāt been online as much. But tonight, a random day in june 2024 at 3am, i am reminded that i still v much love reddie and while i dont come online i still check their ao3 tag like at least once every 2 weeks sjdjdjdj. If people are still super active out here and feel frustrated at the fandom being inactive, just know i know plenty are like me and while we arent always online we still be consuming contentš
