Told your player something and they forgot/didnât write it down?
Sorry your character forgot it too
Honestly, Iâm tempted to do this. My players forget just about everything I tell them and never take notes.

Artificer: *gets arm nearly ripped off by a wolf*
Paladin: Don't worry, I've got a healing potion with your name on it little guy.
Warlock: I believe this is the dumbest thing I've done... and I've T-posed on a man to atomize him.
Warlock: Listen, I have a plan
Paladin: Wait -- No!
Warlock: I have a plan.
Paladin: Wait.
Warlock: *You* wait.
Warlock: We are boarding the wolf
There is something profoundly satisfying about rolling 10d10 fire damage as my players look at me in horror.
One of my players has now had two characters die to alchemistâs fire. After the session he told me:
âIâm taking this as a sign. I am going to play as an alchemist.â
Warlock: How did incredible violence not solve our problem?
Paladin: You. Unlock the door.
Warlock: I am not a rogue! I was a frog with a hairpin!
Warlock: I have killed an evil man with a frog. The world is now better.
Monk: Purple is warlock colors... not gonna lie.
Paladin: I love being such a bad - A
Warlock: B'day?
Paladin: Yes
Session 7: TLDR
Warlock used his frog familiar to explore a mansion and used the frog to kill a commoner inside by dropping it from a height of 20 feet on him. Afterwards, he stole the owner of the mansionâs shoes and silverware.
The party left the town to go to another town.
At the next town, they were told that they could not come in until they had done something to help the town first. The party offered to retrieve something for them and left to do so.
On the way, the party stopped to loot a ruined tower. Outside was a brightly painted wagon. Since nobody could pick the lock, they decided to just break through the wall of the wagon.Â
A powerful trap triggered, destroying the wagon and dropping the party to 0 HP.Â
Wizard dies.
Warlock only survives because he casted false life earlier.
Monk and Paladin survive.
Session 7: Frog Murder
SPOILERS FOR CURSE OF STRAHD
Sessions 5 & 6 Summaries
Nothing too interesting happened in these sessions.
The party agreed to take the daughter of the Burgomaster of Barovia to Krezk.
They travel to Valaki, learn about an upcoming festival and decide that it would be best to leave before the festival.
Paladin: "Cure Wounds" cures wounds... THIS IS A WOUND!
(referring to severed hand)
HA! it took four sessions, but we are finally out of the Death House!
Is it normal for the Death house to take around 14 hours to escape? Or is my group just slow?
