The first Moomin book came out in 1945 and the last in 1993.

The Moomin animated series came out in 1990.

So it’s not unreasonable to believe, that Risotto Nero, leader of the hitman team, both read and watched the Moomins, which led to Metallica’s (Stand) Hattifattener design.

If I were to write a head-canon, that the same Risotto, who murders people for money, was reading the Moomins to at night in his childhood and probably owned a stuffed Moomintroll, it can chronologically make sense.

Now since he murdered his cousin’s murderer in 1991/1992 (1974+18), it isn’t unreasonable to believe, that afterwards he went home, washed himself off of the blood, changed and sat down in front of the television to watch an episode of the animated series. Then cried about his childhood and loss of it, yet also finding a certain type of outlet for his pain in remembering it.

Metallica (stand) is in his blood to fill up the emptiness inside him and, as his childhood was killed when he was 14, it also fills up his empty childhood by looking like something from his childhood.

But, as he himself has become, it is twisted and grief stricken, stitched together after an unfortunate accident and never properly healed.

Spice tolerance ranking because I cannn

Pesci and Formaggio. Pesci doesn’t really do anything too devious with it when he gets to cook but Formaggio is “La Demone delle spezia” (as dubbed by the weaker La squadra members who can’t handle crushed red pepper)

Melone. He enjoys his fair share. Famously one time he ate a habanero on a dare and only got SLIGHTLY red

Ghiaccio. Spent like a year carrying a bottle of crushed red pepper flakes on him because people kept assuming he had a low spice tolerance

Illuso. Nothing special, he’s just not that big of a spice guy

Risotto. He cannot have anything more than a mild sauce packet from Taco Bell before entering a coughing fit. He was almost hospitalized by Formaggio making tacos one night and putting jalapeño slices in the taco

Prosciutto. He WAS HOSPITALIZED BY TACOS. He has the constitution of a Victorian child ailed with consumption. He couldn’t do it if he TRIED. Seriously almost died from Formaggio’s cooking. It wasn’t even that much. Pesci’s one thing he can hold over him

i love Pesci and Formaggio tying- but i can see the difference being Pesci cheats and drinks however much milk it takes for him to get through it, Forma is just unaffected. The scariest this man can get.

Fun facts about Vento Aureo/Golden Wind I found online:

Bucciarati's hairstyle is frequently referred to as a bowl cut by fans. It's actually a bob cut. Gold Experience is often said to kick as its main method of attack, when in actuality, it only ever kicked once to push Ghiaccio's neck through the makeshift pole blade. Every other time, it's only ever punched people. A common piece of misinformation that spread throughout the fandom for years is that Araki got rid of Fugo because he realized that he made his Stand too broken and had to remove him from the story or there wouldn't be any tension in the final fight. This isn't true, in actuality Fugo was originally going to be revealed as the mole for Diavolo and would have become a villain for the gang to defeat but Araki decided that such a storyline would be too dark even for this story, and simply decided to just write Fugo out. The fandom consistently depicts Giorno as being a staunch hater of drugs. While he does show animosity towards the prospect of them being peddled to unwary children, he only mentions this fact a grand total of once, as his main goal is to keep the innocent from coming to harm by Passione. Bucciarati is the one who is actually a hater of drugs, as it ties into his backstory of his father being murdered by a drug dealer, and Giorno only mentions drugs as a ploy to get on Bucciarati's good side before he officially becomes a member of Passione. While Risotto can control the iron in people's blood and turn it into sharp objects, some people think that's his only power. He can actually control all iron within a certain radius of himself. Polnareff doesn't become Coco Jumbo after his soul is placed inside of it, but rather a permanent resident of Mr. President (Coco Jumbo remains an independent regular turtle). Despite the food names of the characters, Fugo's design is not based on cheese, even though he has a bunch of holes in his outfit. It seems more likely that he has a strawberry motif; his manga outfit is red and has holes like strawberry seeds, he has strawberries on his shoes and his first name refers to a dessert commonly prepared with strawberries. The anime changing his suit from red to green makes it less obvious. Risotto is frequently called the capo of La Squadra. While he is their leader, this is different from being a capo, which is a title that has to be given by the boss. Diavolo did not respect Risotto or his team enough to make him a capo.

Was playing Stardew Valley last night, extremely high, and realized I wanted to install some mods. I'm not new to modding games but I'd never gotten into modding SV so I went to install SMAPI, and holy shit y'all.

The love and care that was put into designing this piece of sortware. You run it and it pops up a command prompt and *it has instructions for how to use a command prompt built in.*

This is the single friendliest piece of software I've ever encountered. There's a meticulous wiki page with screenshots of exactly what everything looks like, where to click, what to type, everything.

It's designed so literally anybody can do it.

And it's designed to not be scary to somebody who doesn't understand computers very well but wants to download mods for this cute little farming game. Deadass had me crying of the amount of compassion and *care* that a whole community put in to make it so accessible, for free.
