Hello people! As 2025 comes to an end, I'd like to take a step back and highlight my favorite art pieces I did throughout the year
In January, I wasn't very active art wise because of school, but this is a project I made for my intro to child development class! We had to create our own board game.
In February I started getting back into art and experimenting with my style. This piece I did of my OC Tarrim is a good example of that.
In March, I was back to not drawing because of school, but I just had to show this guy here! This was for my veterinary medicine class. We created horse skeletons out of pasta! At this point he was still a WIP I believe.
Most of my art from April was personal/more abstract, so I'd rather not show it. Instead, have this Kissy Missy sketch I did that I was proud of!
May is when I really started to get back into art. School was slowing down as I prepared to graduate in a couple months, and I had more time for drawing. I was super proud of this one when I made it!
June brought to me digital art again! It all started with this reference sheet I did of my tmnt oc. During this month I also did more refs as I prepared for art fight in July.
July was art fight, and while I produced some works for the event, this one I wanted to highlight was not created for it. It is a digitization of an earlier work that I was extremely proud of.
August brought with it my most favorite piece I have ever done. My first time ever animating, I first drew everything on paper, then copied it onto my phone, where finally I edited in Google Slides. Yup, you heard me right. Normally, my projects take at most 6-8 hours (for digital at least), I spent over 12 hours on this, and got it done in a single day.
September was lighter on the art and quality, but I this was also the time I started getting into Vampires SMP, so I drew Scott. I do believe this was also my first time drawing humans digitally in such detail.
October brought another piece I spent more than average on. 9 and a half hours later, I posted this, which contained my first messing around with lighting and proper shading techniques for digital art.
November brought me this piece of meme art. It was my first time doing this style, and I think it looks good.
