So, even though I had already been in labor for 30 hours (unmedicated), when it came time to push I did not hesitate to tell my husband "hold my foot Jo" and laugh. I have been dying to say this for years and it was beautiful. (His name is also nowhere near Jo)

Relationships get so bananas when you start deciphering the other person’s love language.

Like I thought I was just acquaintances with this person because they never told me details about themselves and we just talked movies and writing . But then they made time to have coffee with me and they showed up out of breath because they ran. Like. RAN to be on time for coffee with me?

And I was like “i don’t mind waiting” cause I never want to run

But they said they wanted every minute they could get because I’m so busy usually

Which is when it clicked that I didn’t get how much they considered me a friend because I just straight away didn’t see MY signs of affection in them and went “cool! Casual buds it is.” But now that I’m seeing their signs of affection, I feel a little silly for dismissing them like that even though I felt like we could be best bros.

Anyway, some people show affection through time or intensity or commitment and not vocally. I really have to remember that!

ACTS are they always doing things for you? Ie: Nah bro, I got this, I can do that, need me to get anything for you, I can help with…?

My sisters dont touch (they get it from my mom) they aren't super affectionate or excitable. I've learned to read one of my sisters a little better though.

I made her her homecoming dress one year. When I was done I laid it on the chair in her room so she would see it when she woke up. Didnt expect her to say anything to me. The next morning I'm sitting on my bed and she comes in my room, gives me a silent hug, and walks out. For her that was like jumping up and down screaming.

When I found out I was pregnant and told my family none of my sibling called screaming or being super excited. I got texts saying congrats. I kind of expected it, but was a little disappointed. My same sister though would tell me a little bit later that she was already collecting clothes for me. Didnt know the sex of the baby yet, no baby shower in sight. She may not have been jumping up and down, but I know shes super excited.

When I saw Fantastic Beasts I was apprehensive, but excited. I left the theatre and bawled in my car by myself. I was dealing with a lot at the time that I didn't realise and with how much I loved the movie, I kinda lost it.

Now, with Crimes of Grindelwald I'm apprehensive again. My main problem is I'm annoyed with the casting. I'm excited to learn more about Grindelwald, but I have no interest in watching a Johnny Depp movie. Whenever I see a trailer I automatically get annoyed when I see his face. I also had an issue with Jude Law's and it took me a while to figure out why. I had this nagging feeling that I didnt like him, but couldn't remember why. It's the whole cheating with the nanny thing. It occurred to me and I've subconsciously hated him ever since. Not to mention I'm just not a fan of Dumbledore.

Idk, I'm still going to see it and there are parts I'm excited for, but I wish I was more excited like I used to be.

Watching the caps game on my phone, plugged into the playstation because my phone almost died halfway through the game. Have my pregnant ass parked on an exercise ball because the playstation is too far from the couch and the ottoman hurt too much. Oh, and I'm cross stitching while bouncing on said ball.
