I've seen people say that Connie was the only one who never hurt Steven, but I feel she was the beginning of his identity crisis about the whole human-no human part, I mean, he was perfectly fine with his appearance before Connie, he didn't mind not looking "his age", he was proud to be a CG, but after Connie comments on his appearance-age discrepancy during his birthday, it's the first time we see him try desperately to change, to fit on what SHE felt was right, to even try to shape-shift (1)

Y;all, I appreciate that you have a lot to say, but if you have this much, please do it as a submission. So much easier for you and me. 

Everything you said, though, is 100% true in my eyes. Everyone makes her out to be this perfect, Mary Sue character (which she does come off as, unfortunately), but she’s not, as you have pointed out quite thoroughly.

I’m glad you trust me enough to send this in! Please though, in the future, for long things like this, send it as a submission. I can always add my AAS Edit to them to add my thoughts.

I might be a Stevinel shipper but even I have boundaries, like I feel uncomfortable seeing anything sexual between the two, I just don't see how swapping Spinel with Connie makes it any less creepy.

That's perfectly fine if you don't like the sexual aspect of a ship, I see it quite often believe it or not.
