Adventures in Tutoring || Sheldon and Wendy
adventures-and-thimbles:
Wendy looked the boy over. Prone to self-doubt, she briefly considered she might’ve had the wrong name. But she quickly brushed the thought from her mind. What were the odds that she had gotten the wrong name and it just so happened to be his name? More specifically, what were the odds of it being the name of the only person sitting by himself where she was supposed to tutor someone? Wendy was willing to bet the answer was “not very high.”
Raising an eyebrow, she slid into the seat next to him. “Well,” she began matter-of-factly, knowing how to deal with charges trying to get out of unpleasant things. “We sure have a lot of work to do if you can’t even remember you have tutoring. Perhaps we should have our tutoring sessions more often,” she continued, a glint of mischief in her eyes. “Or else how will you ever be able to remember the dates for History of Magic?”
In reply to Wendy offering on meeting more often Sheldon let out a nervous laugh. “Or instead how about we just don’t meet, I’m obviously a lot of work, let’s just not waste our time.” Sheldon replied more sarcastically than usual. All he wanted to do was go back to his dorm and feed his turtle, but no he had to be here. “Besides I’m all caught up with History of Magic, there’s nothing to worry about here. Also I’m a ravenclaw we’re good at this kind of thing.” Sheldon added gesturing to his own books and notes.
