@smallgreenbeanlove
hi
Hello.
hello. just N case this got lost: i know youve finished your Love Through the Pain series sometime back but I would like to issue a challenge to you. i'd like to see a scene in which Nat presents the Gospel to Tony.
Hi
I did see this come through, and I have it in the back of my mind. ďżź I just donât know when Iâm going to get to it.
Hera Syndulla never marries.
Never remarries, that is. Twiâlek culture holds that marriage is more than a simple legal contractâthat it binds two souls for time and all eternity. From the moment she added him to her Kalikori (and if sheâs honest with herself, long before then), Kanan Jarrus was her husband. Always would be.
Her life is fulfilling. Though one or two offer, she never entertains the prospect of another romantic relationship. She had loved and lost, and that was okay.
She serves as a general during the New Republicâs tender formative years before retiring with her son to Lothal to open a pilotâs academy. Among the best in the galaxy, many would say. She finds her joy in her family. Eventually, in her grandchildren. Not only Jacenâs childrenâof which there are more than she expectedâbut others who earned the title not through blood but love.
She lives to see the First Order fall, and the new Jedi rise. Skywalkers, they call themselves. She gets a chuckle out of that. Particularly when two of her grandchildren join their ranks, Dumeâs blood hot in their veins.
Hera dies at home, on the grassy plains of Lothal, surrounded by four generations of her family. Though Jacen, his children, and newborn grandchild sense it, only Ezra truly understands the strange presence that enters the room when Hera breathes her last.
She runs into Kananâs arms, wrapped in his embrace as they fade into the Force, forever as one.
For @eries45 See behind the cut
"So did you have fun, kid?" Din asks as he tucks the little womp rat into his hammock.
The kid gives a wide yawn, and blinks at Din through sleepy eyes while his blanket is tucked in around him.
Of course, the kid can't see it, but Din smiles at him anyway.
"Go to sleep. You'll be able to see your little friend again tomorrow."
The kid's eyes slide shut, and within a second, he is giving off little snores.
Din stays for another minute to be sure he's asleep, and then he slips out, shutting the compartment behind him. He reaches up, pulls off of his helmet, and takes a breath of unfiltered air. He intends to join the kid in dreamland soon but first he is going to eat some dinner. To this end, he picks up the container of food their new friends had given him, and settles down on an upended cargo container.
He starts to think about the last three days...
"Would you and your little one like to stay with my family and me for today?" the man asks in an honest manner. "After all, it is Life Day, and no one should have to be traveling on it if they don't have to!"
Din does not sense anything about him that tells him to stay would be a big mistake, so he nods. "Okay. We'll stay... if it is not any trouble."
"It's not. Besides, my son will be happy to have another kid to play with! Come! Let me introduce you to my family!"
"Okay."
Din follows the man away from the campsite towards a copse of trees. Although he did not sense anything sinister about this man, he's still a stranger, one whose name he doesn't even know, and so he keeps the hand that's not carrying the kid hovering close to his blaster.Â
"My name's Kanan, by the way."
"You can call me Mando." Even after all this time of getting used to hearing his own name being spoken again, Din still do not give it freely to most beings he encountered.
"So you are a Mandalorian." The words are definitely a statement instead of a question.Â
Din shrugs. "I am."
"I know most people would say that my statement was a stupid one since your armor's a giveaway., I've known a few Mandalorians in my time, ones that I've been honored to call my friends. I know what the Empire did to your people. I know what they did to my friend and her family."
Wait? Did he just say he's got a Mandalorian friend?
"I'd like to meet your friend." He sees the man shake his head.
"I'm sorry but I haven't seen her in awhile. You see another friend of ours got... lost towards the end of the war, and after it was over, she went with another mutual friend to search for him."
So this man fought in the war between the Empire and the Rebellion. He didn't come across like someone who was a part of the former, so he had to have been in the latter.Â
As they got to the copse, there was neither unnatural quiet nor the air of foreboding as one would expect with a trap. Instead he can hear ...
The high peals of a child's laughing!
It's about this same time, they clear the last bend of trees, and a gently sloping hill is before them.
The source of the laughter becomes apparent right away as Din sees a Twi'lek woman, and a small human boy go zipping by on some sort of sled.
The sight causes a reaction from the kid who immediately reaching out towards the two on the sled cooing. "Mah mah mah mah!"
Someone help me finish that gift fic I need to finish. I will NEVER sign up for anything like this again.
get to know me better!!

POLITICALLY AMBITIOUS ELVEN LEADER??
ELROND??? POLITICALLY AMBITIOUS???
HE WHO REFUSED THE CROWN OVER THE NOLDOR AFTER GIL-GALAD DIED DESPITE BEING HEIR TO ALL THREE HOUSES OF THE SONS OF FINWĂ BY BIRTH, ADOPTION, AND LATER MARRIAGE????? SPENT AN AGE AS GIL-GALADâS SECOND WHILE HIS BROTHERâS LINE WERE KINGS??? WHO RAISED A HOMELY HOUSE INSTEAD OF A CITADEL??? WHO CHOSE THE PATH OF HEALING DESPITE GROWING UP IN A SERIES OF WAR CAMPS??? WISE AS A WIZARD?? KIND AS SUMMER????
ALSO WHAT IS THIS
LAST I HEARD GALADRIEL HAD GONE OVER THE MISTY MOUNTAINS TO FOUND LOTHLORIEN BECAUSE OF QUARRELING WITH CELEBRIMBOR OVER EREGION
AND CELEBRIMBOR AND THE DWARVES OF KHAZAD-DĂM HAD AN EXCELLENT RELATIONSHIP (looks pointedly at Narvi and a literally friendly door) WHETHER ELROND WAS A PART OF THAT IS DEBATABLE GIVEN ANNATAR BUT STILL-
It gets worse
*snorts into my fourth glass of dorwinion*
Oh it just keeps getting worse and worse huh
Isildur was already a descendant of kings, and the start of the line was Elros, Elrondâs brother.Â
Youâd think theyâd at least read the books!
They're taking names of people and places from the books and making it up as they go!
If this is in reference to me...
Sorry but I wasn't aware there wasn't a universally decided spoiler tag for The Book of Boba Fett but I did actually tag my reblog/comment with a spoiler tag.
In other words, I tried.
Now for myself I would have blacklisted "The Book of Boba Fett spoiler" / "The Book of Boba Fett spoilers" too, just to be on the safe side.
I would also try to recognize that people do make mistakes and that they are not always intentionally trying to spoil things for others. I'm sorry but things like that happen.
Was gonna say something about R2 casually dropping a baby off in a war zone, but honestly itâs on brand
It's not as if R2 knew what was going on on Tatooine and actually if I blame anyone for it, I have to blame Luke first since he's the one who told R2 to fly Grogu to Tatooine in the first place!
But Luke didn't know either although I question his judgment for sending a baby/toddler to a place like Tatooine all by himself! Uh he grew up on that planet! He knows how dangerous the planet is!
Untitled (for the moment)
I'm not sure if this is even allowed but I promise my recipient you will get the second half of this! I"m posting this now because I feel bad it is taking me so long to get this done!
Recipient: @eries45
Characters: Din, Grogu.... to be updated with Part 2 (don't want to spoil the surprise)
Prompts: Playing in the snow
Notes: I'm late with my Secret Santa gift for @starwarsfandomfests and again, I am so sorry. Here is Part 1 of a 2 parter.
I am currently only posting the first part here on my blog, and when Part 2 is done, this'll go on A03!
If you see any glaring errors, please let me know as I edited this myself!
-----------------------------------
"Ever played in snow before, kid?" The Mandalorian asks his fingers gliding over the controls of the Razor Crest.
The bounty hunter turned protector of the tiny, green creature sitting beside him on the control panel asks the question because the chronometer says that today is Life Day.
Din at first scoffs at the revel of information.âââââââ
He scoffs since it's usually a holiday that in the past he has no use for, other than the occasional help it gives him in capturing his quarry. The holiday is quite useful in this area since they all can't resist the urge to to return home so they can be with their famllies for a day that isn't any more special than the one that came before it. He knows it's because he's not celebrated it himself since before his parents died, that he finds nothing special about the day. Then there is the fact, that although some Mandalorians celebrate Life Day as a way to help them blend, he know it's not really a true Mandalorian holiday.
Or that is what he thought until he makes the decision to break Guild code when he went back to reclaim the child. The decision had cost him dearly, but he knows if he had it to do over again, he would do the same thing. There is no way he could have continued to call himself a Mandalorian because no true Mandalorian would leave a child in the clutches of something so evil as the Empire!
I am going to try my best to get Part 2 finished and posted by the end if February at the latest. I am sorry for the delay!

I literally have no words for this! Thank you for taking the time to write this and share it with me. I was just about brought to tears. Itâs been a long time since I received a gift story, in fact, it was 6 years ago on this very day, January 26, which marked the one-year anniversary of talking with my new author friend thegraytigrss.
The dedication service was beautiful. Thank you so much for reading my series.
Not usually my forte but I liked this series too and this alternate ending written by an anon author was great too!
Okay if Din is no longer seen as....

Spoilers for THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT EPISODE 5!!!
The fact that The Mandalorian showed us a force sensitive child deliberately contacting a Jedi so that he could be taken and trained yet certain factions of the Star Wars fandom still claim Grogu was âstolenâ or taken without his consent
Yeah, that's a little bit of a stretch isn't it? I mean did these people all miss that Grogu's Dad, his protector who had moved heaven and earth already to rescue him from Moff Gideon was standing right there and there is no way he'd let Grogu go with someone he didn't consent to go with?
I mean did you people, really MISS this somehow?
I <3 Boba's bantha!

âI did research on the culture and environment of Tusken Raiders; I researched [the] âsand people.â That is what Luke Skywalker calls them, âsand people.â Anyway, my goal was to avoid ASL (American Sign Language); I made sure it became Tusken sign language based on their culture and environment.â
