Mike Wheeler vs. the Universe
Concept where different versions of Mike keep showing up and sweeping Will off his feet. Mike fights to keep Will, but has to face why he and Will aren’t together.

Summary:
“Do you ever think about what it would be like to kiss your Mike?” Goth Mike’s expression turns serious as he stares directly into Will’s eyes.
Will’s mouth quivers. “Uh- I- Um-”
Goth Mike waits patiently for his answer. Will steadies himself with a deep breath and gazes ahead. “I used to a lot.” He shrugs. “I try not to anymore, because we’re just meant to be friends in our universe.” Will tries to say it as though he’s happily accepted the reality. It doesn’t hurt any less. “But… it still happens sometimes,” he whispers.
Goth Mike looks at him with pain behind his eyes. “Do you want to know what it’s like? Right now?”
