Religious people are often arrogant - but atheists too
Where we come from? Where wo go? Why are we? Insoluble questions we probably won't find an answer for. It seems to be incredibly paradox that there grew up something out of nothing. But if God exists or not, if you look toward structures of society it doesn't matter.
The main problem of religion, no matter if Christianity or Islam, is that missionarys has always been trying to bring other people to convert into their faith community. It seems to be a natural predisposition of religions to increase their numer of mambers. Faith conflicts set off wars and caused pain although they actually preserve piece. The arguments of atheists seem to be overwhelming...
Religion has always been setting up where good sense couldn't find an answer. The mentioned questions above are probably the leftovers - the last questionmarks in our worldview. The old set phrases of the mystery have been proving themselfe and hold the people at the bar. Religious answers are mostley no real answers but firewalls for following questions.
Pastor:" Did you pray?"
relig. person:" Yes!
Pastor:" Did it help?"
"Yes" - "Praise the Lord"
"No" - " The ways of Lord are inscrutable"
No matter how to look at it, nobody can refute the existence of God. The idea of somthing bigger might be still current but the image of an old man or even just an unimaginable substance who cares about your problems is outdated. The assertion that God created the humanity in his own image is scarifying.
But why do Atheists care about what Christians believe in? Does a rabbit care about the social behavior in a wolf pack. It just has to keep attention that he is not going to be eaten by the wolfs.
It isn't arrogant to think that God doesn't exists. The problem is that there are too many atheists who want religious people to loos their faith. That is exactly the same mistake which missionaries do. Nevertheless our children should be able to decide if they want to believe without the influence of some other people and they should decide if they really need an impenetrable institution to believe in God.
Perhaps it would be the best if we would understand that we can't know everythink.
Perhaps we should all become Agnostics.
