If you guys need admins Im sure there are plenty of people who want to help!

If worst comes to worst (which considering it’s been over a month since we’ve last posted on here) I’ll definitely look around for some admins, but things should be pretty okay once things calm down in my life and I can focus on this a little bit more :) 

The only problem I have is that there’s a very specific way that I want things done and it’s something that I basically have trained Cat to do throughout however many years of friendship we’ve had, and it would be a lot of work for me to show people exactly how I want things done (especially if we’re planning on doing graphics again for the spotlights on this blog, which I’m not actually sure if we are going to be doing that)

Heyo!

My name’s Missy and I wanted to hopefully promote you in an upcoming project I’m doing. Blogs that feature new youtubers like bestofyoutube, smalltuber, smallutubers, new-tube and smallyoutubersunite have gotten quite a few of my vids out there and it’s been really nice seeing all the new subs and comments. As good as this all was, a little while ago I realised that I’ve just been taking from an advantage like this and had not been giving anything back (other than the occasional sub to a featured channel I like) so I’ve decided to hopefully give instead of take this time.

As a thank you I wanted to do a small youtuber appreciation art project. I’ve been recently starting a sticker series featuring youtubers (popular and not so well known) as cats. You can check them out here. Some people really liked them so I planned on doing more but other than just some of my favourite youtubers or very well known ones I wanted to do some relatively new and or small youtubers. This is where you mob come in :D

If you want to be a featured as one of my lil cat designs (free commission) just send me your youtube channel and or tumblr and a message saying that you’d be willing to participate! Then we’d discuss what breed and/or colour of cat you want. If you’re interested you can send me a message either on

Could I recommend TheBatesee? He's my favourite youtuber and a huge inspiration (made me and a few others start making videos). He's got a little over 9000 subs I think and he's hilarious, thank you!

Here’s a link to his channel! It actually looks like he has over 10,000 subscribers now! :) He’s a lets-player and right now he has a series up of Dead Space and also SCP:CP which is a terrifying game that I refuse to go anywhere near. I’d definitely check him out!

Hey Madi have you done any blogs? And what kind of videos are you watching lately? I like to watch the Just kidding crew though I would not consider them small you tubers anymore.

I haven’t seen the Just Kidding crew, actually! I haven’t done any vlog-style type videos (I haven’t really been focused on doing anything with YouTube lately, I’ve been really really busy.)

Lately, I’ve mostly been watching Trisha Paytas (not really a small YouTuber anymore) and Qcknd! I’ve probably talked about my love for her before on here, but she’s vegan and makes videos about that (not in a Freelee way, in a much less condescending way haha) and also has American-traditional style tattoos that make her look like a super cute vintage babe. (She makes a series about her tattoos called Public Record!!) I love her, I’ve seen allll of her videos and am a little bit obsessed. She’s amazing.

Personally I have a love hate relationship with Ranters. I've seen them make videos about their lives and issues they really care about. I find that can be a huge problem when it comes to privacy. They're are Ranters that rant uniquely on Ranters...

I actually don’t know of any ranters that are currently still doing rants, but it seems like something that would be right up my alley because I love watching people get angry (as long as it’s not in person because that would be terrifying and I fear for my life whenever I am in the presence of someone who is even mildly frustrated).

heads up your theme seems to be broken!!??

Someone sent a message to my personal blog letting me know! I’m getting back into the swing of things now that band is almost over, so I came on to fix the theme and I’ll probably be going through and posting some of the spotlights this weekend!

Heads up - spotlight applications are CURRENTLY CLOSED. There’s an overwhelming amount of applications and I’m not really sure how I’m going to go about posting them yet, so we’re not going to be accepting anything from this point out. Not an ask, but just responding to Madi's questions. I like watching ranters. They things they talk about are pretty funny and relevant.

!! I am posting this ridiculously late. I enjoy ranters too, I haven’t seen many ranters though! I lowkey used to enjoy Kudrikow back in her ranter days, even though I pretended I didn’t because of the ImmortalHDrama / thedramafriends tags. Do you watch any ranters that you wanna tell us about? :-)

Here’s a link to her channel! You might have seen her video where she talks about her experience working with Lush, as when I visited her channel that’s what I immediately recognized her for. Her videos are really cute and entertaining, they’re mostly vloggy style!

Can you recommend any older youtubers? Like 25+?

I don’t really watch many YouTubers that are older than 25 that are small as far as I’ve seen, but I would recommend Qcknd as I believe she is 25 and does a lot of really long videos on tattoos and veganism and I adore her videos. 

If anyone has any older YouTubers that they’d recommend, send them in and I’ll add them in down here!
