Just logged in for the first time in ~5 years because Tumblr flagged a post of pictures of my old dorm rooms as adult content. Eat shit, Tumblr.
Whatâs good? Besides quarantine nonsense, obviously.
lol I havenât been on here for years
whatâs good?
So I kinda dropped off the face of the earth for a minute because things weren't going so well for me, then they were, then they really weren't, and now basically everything is happening at the same time. I got laid off a few weeks ago so I'm living off of unemployment (which hasn't come in yet) and food stamps and money I had to borrow from my parents, which was the most embarrassing thing. But I also just got a new job, although I won't get paid until the end of the month.
Last month I tried out for Jeopardy after passing the online test, and last week I found out they want me to fly out to LA in December and be on the show for real. And I need help getting there.
If you can't donate, please signal boost. I never thought I'd be able to do this, and it's so close.
Seriously cannot tell the difference between "fashion" and "thin people who happen to wear clothes" re: most fashion blogs

Me: Aw man I'm gonna do so much stuff this weekend!
My brain: LOL NOPE MIGRAINE FOR YOU
[W]e are told by those authoritatively assigned as our âteachersâ â inside and outside classrooms â what to think and how to think it. We are taught to be good, subordinate servants. Perhaps most of all, and most debilitating to us, we are conditioned to love our oppressors and to blame ourselves for the systemic problems we face. Canât make rent? Get a second job. Still not enough? Should have gone to college. Did go to college? Should have gone to a better one. Went to a fantastic university? Should have avoided loans. Born into poverty and couldnât avoid them? Too bad, should have been born rich. No solutions ever actually emerge because they were never meant to. Capitalists know this. Finding solutions would mean actually dismantling the education of oppression and attacking poverty where it is born â in the hands of the rich.
What if I told you trying to eliminate poverty through âeducationâ is bullshit? Part II | AmericaWakieWakie (via america-wakiewakie)
